Latest Dynamic update is up:

Lightning change (no bouncing of lightning immune models) and Nemo 3 feat change (enemy models have to be in his Ctrl) as expected. Two other changes are:
Ace: Lose AD, now cost 10 points
Sons of the Tempest: 'Models in this army can upkeep spells on friendly Arcane Tempest model/units without spending focus.'
Basically lets Junior and Caine0 potentially upkeep spells for free.

I don't get the huge bonuses the Arcane Tempest theme gets. Perhaps the problem isn't the theme bonuses but the unit selection being too narrow?
It's not just for junior and Cain0, any caster playing games the theme will probably take advantage of it.

Sorry I could have been clearer, SotT already allowed warcasters to upkeep spells for free on Arcane Tempest models, this is just extending that to Juniors.
I played SotT a fair bit, it hits perfectly fine, the issue I found is that Gun Mages are made of wet toilet paper, they just go down to easily, and your output drops off a cliff

Ace at 10 points is very good on Caine0. Yeah, AD was nice as you could counter-deploy Ace, and potentially hit their AD line turn 1. But going down to 10 points makes him much easier to fit into lists, I loved Ace before, but 12 points was a very premium price.

Tempted to give something like this a go
Siege 1 - Squire (0) - Stormwall +39 - Triumph +18 - Centurion +17
Caine0 (0) - Ace +10 Junior (0) - Charger Arlan +4
Min Meks +3 Min Meks +3
Between a Fully Boosted Ground Pounder, Trick Shots and Covering Fire, it should keep infantry honest.
The Centurion with Arcane Shield can contest along with Storm Pods if needed, Arcane Shield probably gets swapped to the Stormwall later on. Mechanics can score zones, repair any chip damage to Stormwall, and potentially act as Force Hammer targets.

Anyone else think having Caine0/Ace with Nemo3 could be awesome because Shadowfire? I can see lots of Dynamo assassinations, shooting straight through a colossal.

Shadowfire definitely enables a lot of assassinations, and having access to it in Heavy Metal is great for casters like Nemo 3 and Sloan, who want nothing to do with SotT . that's partly what my Siege 1 list above it built around, Shadowfire and Forcehammer could threaten some good assassination vectors.

Expand it to juniors doesn't do something meaningful - FFE on Arcane Tempest unit is no more than a kidding, so do Arcane Shield. If you want blast protections you better do something else other than forgo Arcane Shield on your main heavy/colossal warjack.

Arcane shield is meaningless on anything Arcane Tempest for sure, but FFE on a Gun Mage Captain Adept is pretty good.

Isn't FFE just boosts first attack&damage roll so it applies only once for the spray?

So it works on sprays, AOEs, Ground Pounders etc

I like that Ace went down 2 points. That means our Hunters lost AD for half the price! Jipped FFE on Avenger, Hurricane, Dwarf Artillery with Murdoch, Siege1 , Arlan, CRA Trenchers/Gunners, Darius, Trencher Cannon crew... Any others? Seems like Caine0 is the new Jr and the most played Caine
