Sweet! I am more pumped for Kromac2 and I will try to make it work, given that is very possible he will be buffed after CID. Better to get used to him now . Thanks for the reports!.

Great write ups! I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of this, I am thinking of getting into circle. I've played them for a game or two when I was helping someone get into the game with them on my meta but have not kept up with them as of late. I was wondering if you thought Baldur2 would be a good match for Krueger2 or wurmwood? I was leaning toward wurmwood or Una2 as a pair for him but after reading your Krueger2 reports I may try to use him as my main list as well. Also, do you miss the woldwrath in your list? I really love that gargossals looks.

Quickfire report here because I've been writing so many lately. Got another Kromac game in vs Drake! We deployed! I ran up! Pot only rolled a 1, boo! Vengeful on Gheto, Awaken on Feral. Drake's stuff ran up! Upkeeps went out, Countermeasures on Croes, Fortune on Artillery, Failsafe on Nomad. Stuff ran a bit too close! Kromac feated, ate a Croe, sprinted back. Clads both hit their HMs. Griffon beat up the Nomad a little. Ghetorix wrecked it, overtook over to Boomhowler and ate him. Pot rolled 1 again, gave 2 to LotF. LotF ported to the Freebooter, killed Acosta hiding behind it and a Croe. Feral warped Armour and killed the Freebooter. Stuff shimmied, right Stalker killed 2 Croes. Everything goes in. Exceptionally bad dice, Feral lives but is Greivous Wounded. Drake Feats and rolls a 6, loads of unkillable models (green in picture). LotF explodes. Score goes to 2-2. I don't achieve much! Kromac kills some feated models with Grievous Wounds, I put some good damage into the Rover. Argus and Stalker kill the Mangler. Ghetorix doesn't Frenzy, locking 4 Fury on the table. -_- Score goes to 4-3 Circle. Remaining Merc models try to salvage the situation, Griffon dies. Too many Circle models now and Kromac is still living behind his rock. Score goes to 5-4 Circle. Stones port near the enemy flag. Blackclad engaged by the Boomhowler ports onto the enemy flag. Kromac casts Carnage, kills the Rover and the Boomhowler, sprints back. Right hand Stalker kills the models engaging my Doggo. Doggo walks up to Meg, Doppler Barks and kills her. Blackclad on my left flag gets Puppet Master and charges Alten and kills him. Other stuff shimmied. Score goes to 9-4 Circle. Circle win! Sorry for the short report, not got too much spare time today and wanted to get it written up.

I really love that gargossals looks. Glad to be of service! I just hope people enjoy reading them, they're useful for me to learn for sure. Baldur2 is a very strong caster but I haven't put a huge amount of time in to him. I found that he is really good at most games but there are a few matchups he straight up can't deal with. I'm not too fond of him for the same reason I'm not too fond of Una, he's really prone to list chicken. Still, I know that musza has had great success with him, absolutely worth playing. I don't miss my Woldwrath at all. I hate playing with huge bases, and for the cost of a Wrath you can get 2 Heavies, a Light & some change. There are a few matchups it's absolutely better in (Maelok Posse spam, Haley3 Gravediggers) but then there are some it's absolutely worse into (Khador, Grymkin) and I'd say whether or not it makes your pairing absolutely depends on your offlist. I also feel playing without a Woldwrath lets me make more decisions. You have a lot more options with 2 Geomancers and change than a Colossal.

Alright, so because the thread about Skarre1 DH was getting my curious, I called a friend to play some Skarre DH vs me using the list from the thread, to see if it was as bad as people were making it out to be. Full disclosure, I've played this matchup twice, it was my opponent's first time playing the matchup so it's possible it goes differently in the hands of someone with more experience playing vs Krueger. My opponent was playing: Skarre1 -Skarlock -5talker -5talker -5talker -5talker -5talker 5 Bane Riders 6 Bane Warriors w/UA Bane Lord Tartarus 3 Scrap Thralls 1 Soul Trapper Wraith Engine Wraith Engine I had my trusty Krueger list, since it's been a while since it's been in these reports: Krueger2 -Megalith -Wold Guardian -Woldwarden -Woldwarden -Woldwyrd -Woldwyrd Sentry Stone Sentry Stone Shifting Stones Shifting Stones Wayfarer Wayfarer Stoneshaper Stoneshaper Gobber Chef 75 So, my opponent won the roll for first, and after some measuring to see where clouds could go opted to take first. Notice I deployed Krueger in a stone triangle, in case my opponent messed up and gave me a bottom of 1 Rebuke. My opponent got first. The Skarlock ate a Scrappy, rolling a 1 for Ritsac. Otherwise things ran up, with the Riders humping the clouds for Stealth and everything else fanning defensively, abusing the long threat ranges to threaten the entirety of the circle zones, while hiding behind forests from Mannikin sprays. Well. This sucks. I barely advanced, and opted to just throw a whole bunch of Lightning Storms on the side of the table where the Bane Warriors were. Why not, right? In prep for my feat the Wraith Engine on the right toed the circle zone, the one on the left joined up with the forest to help screen the warriors advance, and took a point from Lightning Storm!!! Models shimmied to project threats on me otherwise. Skarlock rolled a 4 for Rit Sac. Well, if my opponent was just going to give me a free Engine... Megalith TK'd the left hand Engine around, it got Hunter's Marked and my Warden got +2 STR. I decided the Warden was going in because it should still easily kill the Engine. My right hand stones ported my Warden up who boosted a TK onto the right hand Engine, leaving it outside the zone. Krueger walked up and feated, making sure to push one Bane Rider into the one hiding behind the clouds first, leaving him half out the cloud so I could Rebuke him, otherwise shunting everything back as far as possible. He boosted a Rebuke onto the Riders and hit, and TK'd my Warden. Then he threw another potshot at the Wraith Engine, dealing 2 more damage. My left hand Warden charged the Engine, hit the charge, missed the 2nd but then killed it on one buy. He boosted a Lightning Storm at 2 Bane Warriors behind the Engine, hit and killed both in the AoE. The Mannikins on the left all whiffed but the right hand unit put some damage into a Stalker before it got shunted by my feat. I put my Wyrds in positions to aim at Stalkers I expected to move in. My Chef ran into the enemy zone. At the end of this turn I took a 2-0 lead on CPs. Well, my opponent told me he really didn't want to feat here because he couldn't hit enough, but he felt he had to or he'd just get tabled next turn. 2 Stalkers on the left got 3 Focus (goodbye Warden). So my opponent ran the Engine within 12" of Skarre, into the middle of the right zone. Then Skarre feated on all the green models (notably the Stalkers, Engine, BLT, herself and her Objective) and walked backwards, fearing the assassination. I think she might have healed for 1 or 2 also. The Warden and the surrounding stuff all got massacred by 3 Stalkers, then my opponent realised he couldn't run his Bane Warriors into the left zone without killing 3 of them due to my feat, so they killed my Gobber Chef with the help of BLT. BLT moved into the clouds to threaten next turn. Bane Riders shimmied and said "we contest and also hate Rebuke." The score was still 2-0 Circle. I didn't spend enough time here looking to see if I could score the 3 to win Scenario, but I don't think the play I went for was bad. In hindsight I totally could have ported my Guardian onto the enemy objective and gone for that. Always look at the table and think "can I win scenario this turn?"!! Especially when you play Krueger2! I was just scared because he feated on his objective and automatically dismissed it as an option, but odds are it does die to my Guardian, especially if I throw a couple other boosted damage rolls at it. Anyway, what I did was have my right hand stones port Krueger into the forest on the left, far enough in nothing much could see him. He cast Undergrowth, disrupted 2 Stalkers and put some damage into one of them. The Wyrd there aimed at the Stalker it could aim at, and missed 2 shots but still put some damage in with the one it did hit. Megalith got told he was strong. My Wayfarer walked up to the leftmost Stalker, sprayed, dealing some damage and also killing both Bane Warriors that killed my Gobber Chef. My left hand Sentry got a run/charge, making sure to get into the left zone. Megalith advanced and rolled like a god damn hero. He killed 3 Stalkers in 5 Swings, with enough focus spare to TK himself forwards. That was nice and sorely needed considering my Wyrd and Krueger flubbed a bit. On the right hand side of the table, my Blackclad put Hunter's Mark on the Wraith Engine. My Warden cast TK on it then charged it in the butt, missing its 2nd swing (again!) and dealing some decent damage with some boosted rolls. My other Shaper told the Guardian it was strong and the Guardian spiked huge and killed the Engine with its initials. Alright. My Wyrd walked up and shot Tartarus without boosting, hitting the first 2 8s and boosting, killing Tartarus. Aaaaalright. My right hand Mannikins moved to take up space and the Sentry got to safety so it could contest in future turns, as I basically had the left hand side of the table now. At the end of the turn I moved to 4-0. My opponent proxied out a couple options and conceded. Victory to the Circle! This is how the majority of my games vs Skarre have gone. She seems to just get taken to bits by Krueger's control option and Undergrowth is stellar vs Stalkers. More practice needed for my opponent? Keen to hear how this matchup has gone from your POV, if it's such a bear of a matchup for other people we're clearly missing something.

Getting off Rebuke and use of Undergrowth seemed like massive importance here, (tho his cav had almost no souls to go after).
I don’t know what u rolled but, playing K2 I find if I miss a couple key roles then it can quickly crumble (you know the ones where you’ve already tried to stack odds in your favour, or you just need to make that natural 7 or 8. Your list seems to have lots of overlapping redundancy to support when parts have “flubbed”, so maybe that’s what Im missing.
What would you say are this list’s biggest weak spots? It seems to have most angles covered, (beyond maybe very few specific casters in their ideal theme). Do u tend to run this against everything unless a ‘bogey’ opponent crops up?
PS. Despite “rushed” report, still great to see how u make it all work. Beyond a video report these are the best batreps I’ve read anywhere, so very much a pleasure to see. Still better and more helpful than most video batreps tbf. Thank you

Just popping in to say that your battle reports alone make me want to play Circle, maplewhisky. I am deciding between Circle, Legion, and Crucible Guard for a side faction and you are making a strong case for Circle. Love reading these.

Thanks for the support guys! Glad someone enjoys them Got two quickfire reports here. Game 1 was vs Maelok with Krueger2. I won the roll for first and my opponent took the bottom. I just gunned up the table as hard as I can, trying to bait in the Thrullg. Maelok feats, casts Death Pact and everything guns up the table in a notable display of player skill. All the gators dirge. The Thrullg charged in and did some damage to Megalith. My opponent told me he had forgotten I had Rebuke right up until my next turn. Woops! I kill the Thrullg, Krueger feats and walks over to the left, putting Rebuke on a unit of Gators. A Blackclad Phase Jumps behind a house. All my stuff swings hard to the left to minimise the number of attacks he can make, with double Undergrowth up. I kill a Gator with Gallows and some Wyrd shooting (one got pushed out of Maelok's control). Gators run/charge where they can. This is a really fun and interactive list. The Gator gets revived. The score goes to 1-0 Minions. I drop Rebuke. Megalith casts Undergrowth and walks up to some Gators. Throwing 2 against each other, boosting damage to kill one and then swinging on another. My 2 Shapers gave +2 Str to Megalith & my Guardian. My Warden on the right advances, boosts a TK at the Wrastler, flipping it around and placing it backwards to protect my heavies from it, then he Chain Attacks to knock a Gator into another Gator, killing the one that got hit with the Chain Attack. My Guardian got ported up. My other Warden advanced, and went for the Chain Attack on another gator, and managed it. Seeing as he managed it he TK'd the Guardian into the hole in the lines he'd created and my Guardian cleaned house. My Wyrd and Sentries cleaned up on that side a bit, resulting in a lot of sad KD'd gators. Krueger moved Rebuke onto the Grey/Brown unit that my right hand Guardian had KDd a member of, TK'd Megalith backwards and then cast Undergrowth. On the right hand side I played very conservatively and forgot to contest, woops. The score went to 2-0 Minions. My opponent felt like he didn't have much of a shot at winning attrition here, seeing as one of his units couldn't charge and 2 of the others were on their asses / in shambles. The fully functioning unit was on the wrong side of the table. As a result, he went for an assassination. The Spell Slave advanced and hit Krueger with a Mortality. The Croc Pot advanced and used Spectral Lash to pull Krueger up and deal 8 damage. Oops. The Bone Swarm got Rage and Death Ride and charged Krueger, it hit him with the charge, forcing my one transfer. Then he bought a swing and boosted and ended Krueger. He had a Sac Strike from the other doc croc if he needed it. Double oops! Sadly, a loss for the Circle! Lesson learned. In hindsight there was 0 reason to cast that Undergrowth. I could have cast Wild Growth to stop myself being pulled (although Maelok could have tried to kill me with Venoms and a Sac Strike) or just camped 3, I would have lived in both situations. Silly greedy play by me and a needless loss. Lessons learned, though. And don't forget the Croc Pot has Gallows, made worse cause I played 5 games with it in the last week! >=[

Alright, second quickfire report. I played a game vs Ashlynn in Llaelese Resistance, I was playing Tomasz's Una2 build! I got first and we deployed. I put Mirage on my Stones, HoF on a Pureblood, cast Wind Wall and Una charged up. Everything else ran up the table, except my Goraxes. My opponent cautiously advanced, respecting my threat ranges. Chosen Ground went up, and the Blazers got Quickened. The Blazers tried to put a Brutal shot into my stone but it bounced off. Now it was my turn to respect threat ranges. Elusive went up on all the birds, I tried to contest as well as I could and otherwise shimmied. The Wolves stayed on the hill in Wind Wall with the stones. Ashlynn feated. Mercs move up, take some shots. 2 of my Griffons and my Objective get banged up pretty badly. Another Griffon takes some incidental damage. One of my Stones takes some damage. Otherwise Mercs move into my threat to not have a complete scenario blowout. Some ambitious spacing from the Storm Lances. Stones apparate forwards. HoF PBWW aims and murders 3 Storm Lances, one toughs. The other PBWW kills 2 more. Una advances into her newly-apparated Stone triangle. She feats and I think takes a potshot Black Penny and kills Rutger. HoF and Primal go onto a bird on the left. The Nomad on the left side of the table explodes to the HoF/Primal Griffon, but with some poor dice the objective manages to live. Primal goes out on a bird on the right side of the table, but thanks to Ashlynn's feat the Nomad there manages to live miraculously with all systems online (1 box in L and R -_-). I manage to kill Rutger and Taryn on the left. Sadly 0 CPs scored because I failed to kill the objective. Ragman walked up and used Death Field. Ashlynn went to town on my poor birds, Flashing Blading and hitting a whole lot of hard 7s, meaning I couldn't Elusive and my poor chicks exploded, with some help from Thorn Gun Mages. Gibbs advanced and hilariously killed a gun mage and damaged himself with his own blast. The Nomad advanced and punched another bird to death. The Blazers (still with Quicken) pushed hard up the right and took some brutal shots, breaking my stone, and putting a bit of damage into my objective. The Nomad on the right hit the hard 9 on my Griffon, freeing up Blythe & Bull. B&B finished off my objective. On the left Eilish got into my zone (dispelling HoF from a bird for 1 damage to Una) and contested, hugging the objective. The Tinker ran into my zone. I forgot a picture here, but Mercs moved to 2-0. Una walked up (carefully staying out of Ashlynn's LoS, considering her huge charge threat), shot Rhupert to death with her birds, cast HoF on her Pureblood and sat on the rest. Her bird in the zone killed Eilish and sprinted out of Ashlynn's charge threat, the other one charged and killed a Gun Mage before sprinting back to her. My Pureblood on the right charged, damaging Bull with his spray and killing the Quickened Blazer somehow. Then his 2 initials killed 2 more. My Blackclad on the right advanced and killed Bull, but missed Blythe. My Blackclad on the left killed the Gobber Tinker, by walking into his back arc. My Pureblood in the middle warped for Ghostly and charged the damaged Nomad (by a sliver of LoS) and killed him off. My Gorax charged and killed Gibbs. My other Gorax just ran up. My Wilder pulled some Fury. My Stones got into the zone. The score went to 2-2 here, as I barely couldn't see the last Gun Mage in the zone through 3" of forest with the Pureblood, sadly. Quicken got upkept for free. Ashlynn cast Admonition on herself, walked up and put some damage into my Pureblood. Ragman walked into my zone. The Blazers walked, put some shots out and engaged my support from behind. A Thorn Gun Mage advanced and shot my right hand Pureblood twice to push him out of the zone. Blythe charged him. The Nomad on the right walked up. The score went to 3-2 Mercs. Ashlynn got dogpiled by Primalled HoF'd beasts. Victory to the Circle! Yup, Una2 is still really strong. It is known.

How do you like the list? It's good! I definitely like the PB + 2nd Gorax over the 10 bird build. They give you a much more reliable lategame, and double sprays is sweet.

Makes the list more versatile and double Gorax make alpha hit harder. You can cast 2 Primals outside of Una's activation BTW Mirrage on stones is sweet, I usually put in on a bird to threat my OP and scare to come closer.

I figured I didnt need bonus threat range in this game and would rather Una got to walk up and teleport back.
