If I ever hear "Play like you've got a pear" again it'll be too soon... but that last Kromac report was pretty awesome; all in and lets roll dice!
I too am a fan of the longform reports, but I have some idea how much work they are to produce, so we'll take whatever you have time to write...

Hey man, thanks for the games vs Lich3, very interesting games! Side note, I figured I would weigh in on the small vs large battle reps. Personally I love the full ones you do as they really give a great summary of the games. I have an 18 month old son and a 7 month pregnant wife so gaming time is really limited at me for the moment. Being able to read those full battle reports let's me "live vicariously" a bit through your games . That being said, the small battle reports are definitely cool on an occasion, I just hope they don't fully replace the full ones myself. Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into these, I know it isn't easy! I totally agree with this. I read battle reports at work so I am able to learn from your games in order to make better decisions in mine. Thanks for the reports maplewhisky.

Had a tournament today, was a qualifier for the UK Invitational Super Series. Basically a bunch of qualifiers throughout the year and the top I think 32? People in the UK will compete in November for best UK player. I won! Playing Krueger2 & Bradigus. I'll post up some reps next week. For now:

Alrighty! Few quick tid bits. There were no Grymkin at the event so I played Brad with 2 heavies and 7 lights. I wasn't able to source a 2nd Woldwarden although I did have 3 Guardians, so in Krueger I dropped my Mist Speaker (only 1 Cygnar at the event) and added a Grove, then upgraded a Warden to a Guardian. Game one! I got Rask/Maelok, and elected to drop Brad. My opponent played Rask and we were off. I won first turn (HUGE vs WWFF) and ran up the table. My opponent shimmied up and put out Enlivens and Admonition etc. Rask also feated, but respected my threat into his feat with my own. So, as you can see I have quite a commanding scenario position. I opted to sit back and stay out of the threat range of all the heavies barring Brine and the Swamp Horror's tentacles. Orin went into the right zone. Brine killed a Watcher and left another on a smidgen of health. The Swamp Horror with Rage and Fury killed a Watcher with just tentacles. It had Enliven on it. I thought for quite a while about feating this turn, but decided not to. I couldn't really get that much into a good spot, and I was in a very comfortable position re: scenario so decided to go that route instead. I had my Guardian murder Brine. I had Bradigus walk up to shoot the Horror and then realised I had forgotten to block Enliven so didn't shoot, then sent a Wight up to hit the Swamp Horror and realised I had forgotten to block in Enliven so didn't. I ran 2 Mannikins behind the Horror. A Wight and Watcher both tooled up killed it thankfully despite me being dumb. The Mannikins on the right killed Orin and I scored 2 CPs. 2-0 to Circle. My opponent had to commit at this point, the Turtle got Rage & Primal I think and went in, killing both my Wights and my Watcher. Ouch. The Snake had had to clear some Mannikins for it at least. Snapjaw walked up. The Wrastler stayed in a safe spot. The Snake got Enliven. A Mist Speaker contested the right zone, but my opponent scored the middle. I forgot a picture here, sorry guys. 2-1 to Circle. Definitely feat turn now. I put Hunter's Mark on the turtle. A watcher charged it doing some okay damage. Strength went on both Guardians. Stones ported the left Guardian. Brad walked up and feated the Guardian into the snake. My left Watcher smacked Snappy for a bit of damage. My Guardian killed the Turtle in melee, giving me Synergy 3. The Synergy 3 Guardian boosted a hit and damage roll on the snake, at dice +6 dealing 15 damage. My opponent used Enliven and moved away, taking a Free Strike which dealt 15 damage and killed the Snake. Gottem. Mannikins on the right charged and killed the Speaker. I moved stuff back with my feat and scored 2 CPs. 4-1 to Circle. My opponent clocked out during his turn, but I don't think he could recover the right flank for scenario purposes, despite probably winning attrition from this point. Victory to the Circle!
