With the price for the hooch being so high, I was going to proxy it in a couple of lists. Not sure where to start with this so I would like to see what you fine trolls have to say. If it does wonders for me I might buy it...

I feel like the second hauler might be better as light infantry, ideally raiders (or bears & fire eaters?) to jam and then feat. OTOH, having the haulers on the flanks let's you get the buffs to everyone easily, and getting that leadership buff from one on the other seems hilarious.

First blush army:
Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North
(Horgle 2) Horgle, the Anvil [+29] <-- Because he wants Continuous Fire everywhere prior to Feat - Glacier King [35] - 3x Continuous Fire shots - Troll Basher [7] - (-)2 DEF where you need it - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] - an extra Cont Fire template attack Fell Caller Hero [0(5)] - Help Bears or Raiders Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] - Stealth when protecting the GK Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] - Monsters when charging enemies suffering from C-Fire. Northkin Raiders (max) [15] - Fire bombs/bodies to hinder enemy movments Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] - Set Cont Fire to things it can drift onto, or hit with it's paltry RAT 5
I'm not really sanguine about the HH's ability to have an 18pt-esque influence on the battlefield. At RAT 5, even if the oil effect hits significant enemies directly or on a drift, the subsequent RAT 5 x2sprays (10") still have to hit, with NO BOOST-ability to it's RAT. Can always take those Lookouts for +2 RAT (Yuck, more support, for a Battle Engine?!)
As I own many other Battle Engines, the ability to boost ATTACK(s) is one of my requisite abilities when considering replacing warjacks/warbeasts with any Battle Engine of similar points.

Alright, so here we go. First list was built because Rök + Goad = Awesome. conflictchamber.com/#c7201b_-0G50jpiUfJfJfF0li-iZiZj5j3Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North !!! Your army contains a CID entry. (Doomshaper 1) Hoarluk Doomshaper, Shaman of the Gnarls [+29] - Mulg the Ancient [22] - Rok [19] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Northkin Shaman [0(4)] Northkin Shaman [0(4)] Swamp Gobber Chef [1] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [3] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Raiders (max) [15] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] The key synergies here is MAT 8 on Rök for infantry surfing. With Fortune (in a pinch) he could clear a lot of infantry. Primal is a possibility, though i hate the spell... The Raiders really like the HHH since they can then do lots of work against infantry (especially with Fortune), but they can also shoot potentially boosted POW 12s at a beast you turned around with an arced Rampager. The two Shamans allow Doomy to be further up the board and they are very impressive with "RAT" 7 and POW 14 sprays. The bears are there to encourage clumping up in the middle, and Rök and the HHH loves that. Next list focuses on having a GK: conflictchamber.com/#c7201b_-0G50fmjpjqfF0ki-j5i_j3Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North !!! Your army contains a pre-release entry. !!! Your army contains a CID entry. (Doomshaper 1) Hoarluk Doomshaper, Shaman of the Gnarls [+29] - Glacier King [35] - Mulg the Ancient [22] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Swamp Gobber Chef [1] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Northkin Raiders (max) [15] Pyg Lookouts (min) [7] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Here you focus on having that RAT 8 GK who does not need to boost to hit doing a lot of work with POW 16s and pushing enemies back in a pinch. The GK is also super fun with Guardian beast. He can make things stationary on their turn with his fists, or if he cant reach them, he can shoot a Boosted RAT 6 and hopefully push them out of melee range, or crit stationary if you are lucky. The HHH together with accurate shooting means that you can easily down heavies at range, and you still have good infantry clear with the Raiders with Fortune and possibly +3 RAT. This list really rewards you for putting Doomy at risk, since that can allow you to destroy some one activation by triggering Guardian beast, and that can lead to... death. It is really fun though

I have thought HHH on Grissel's:
Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North
!!! Your army contains a pre-release entry. !!! Your army contains a CID entry.
(Grissel 2) Grissel Bloodsong, Marshal of the Kriels [+27] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] Bog Trog Mist Speaker [4] Fell Caller Hero [0(5)] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Raiders (max) [15] Pyg Lookouts (min) [7] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]
SPD9 Raiders, lots of fire and KD gun synergies all quite good together. Not ultimate armor-cracking, but can definitely kill heavy or 2 on turn ranged.
And:
Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points

!!! Your army contains a CID entry.

- Dire Troll Brawler [16]
- Dire Troll Mauler [15]
Fell Caller Hero [0(5)]
Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)]
Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6]
- Northkin Elder [0(3)]
Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10]
Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10]

Some interesting non-caster specific synergies with the HHH: Dozer & SmiggIf you wanna play Gunnbjorn, D&S are great in general, and they can really help the HHH hit. BrawlerMAT 7 is significantly better than MAT 6 for a heavy. This increases output against DEF 12 heavies by a lot, and you might even take a chance and not boost against those DEF 14 heavies that the Mauler hates so much. Stumbling Drunk can also make him significantly harder to kill than the average heavy. MANY players will forget about this at least once GKAs i already mentioned, the GK becomes MUCH better at shooting if it is base RAT 6. RökMore MAT and RAT are both fine things obviously. Stumbling drunk too... Winter TrollHigher RAT on the spray (that can hit multiple targets) is a thing. Stumbling drunk together with his animus could be SUPER obnoxious if one forgets about it. Kriel WarriorsMAT 6 (8 with the Fell Caller) means these guys become really good against enemy infantry rather than being mediocre. Stumbling Drunk on cheap models together with tough makes them way harder to kill in numbers. Fire EatersWith RAT 7 they can often hit without being on fire. If they shoot something the HHH already hit, they still get boosted damage. This significantly reduces the need to light them on fire. RaidersSuper obvious synergies all around. LookoutsCan give more RAT to the HHH, and the HHH can give more RAT for them. Positioning could be problematic to have them both benefit at the same time though. ChampionsStumbling Drunk is not good for them! +1 MAT is though, even if they are high base. Your FC might be able to give +2 to hit to another unit, while MAT 8 champs do work against enemy infantry without his help. Fell CallerThe HHH means you do not need a FC as much, but giving the FC RAT 7 sprays is not a bad thing. NK ShamanYou can have RAT 7, POW 14 sprays in SotN compared to RAT 6 POW 12 that you get in PoD. There is a big difference! Runebearer+1 to hit on spells he flings is a big difference, especially if you have nice spells like Mortality to spell slave.

conflictchamber.com/#c7201b_-0G4XjniUjq6G0li-6miZiZj3Trollbloods Army - 74 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North (Madrak 2) Madrak Ironhide, World Ender [+28] - Dire Troll Brawler [16] - Rok [19] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Fell Caller Hero [0(5)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Long Riders (max) [20] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Bears to force them towards the middle or AD depending on opponent. Long Riders who are Mat 8 weaponmasters with 2" reach to murder the world. Cold stone and FC to give them buffs as needed. The beasts threat 13-14" and are Mat 7/8 and gain Pathfinder on charges. Madrak is upkeeping Blood Fury for free and has the bigger control radius now with the Runebearer. Oh and everything except Madrak has Stumbling Drunk when you desire (effectively giving Rok his bond back). Oh and the random fire damage from the HHH plus Runebearer/Madrak throwing out the random Eruption. Defensively it isn't stellar but I really need more time to play games to find out if this is viable or not.

The defense start may not be great, but hardly anything is going to get one-shot, so I'd think the stumbling drink could be particularly great here.

True, and none of that annoying need to be B2B, they can all wander to their heart's content. And man AD bears with Blood Fury on them and the +2 damage... so much potential death. I love lists where virtually every model is individually scary, it's not like you kill a couple things and you're safe.

During the CID I reported with a Gunbjorn list including the Hooch Hauler. Snipe on the Hauler (then juggled to the Raiders) was a no brainer, as it was with the GK in the list. Going to try again when when I pick one up.
