Hi,
I am looking for a partner for my d3 list which is able to play into a lot of lists that do not shoot hard so the second list should be able to deal with shooting. First caster in mind is gunny and I built this list.

Fell Caller Hero - PC: 0 Bog Trog Mist Speaker - PC: 4
Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes - Leader & 3 Grunts: 6 - Northkin Elder - PC: 3 Northkin Bear Handler & Battle Bears - Bear Handler & 2 Battle Bears: 10 Trollkin Champions - Leader & 4 Grunts: 16 - Skaldi Bonehammer - PC: 5 Northkin Fire Eaters - Leader, Trollkin Grunt, and Pyg Grunt: 7
THEME: Storm of the North ---
The idea is to use the gk as an late game piece while shooting 16" power 16 completely boosted shoots into the opponents army . While mist speaker helps providing magic weapon and eyless sight to the gk. The bears are their to control the opponents flanks. Champs in combination with gunnys wall + Feat should be able to get to the opponents models. Any ideas or questions.

That looks pretty good. I am in love with Jarl in Storm with quickened Max champs and double bears, though. That list has wrecked a much more competitive cygnar player two for two, in gravediggers and sons of tempest. There's a long thread on here about Jarl in Storm with a variety of lists, I'm playing the one with lookouts from near the end, but there are lists there people thought were better after it. He can be good in other themes, but the free upkeeps really make this the standout.

The list looks fine to me. Mist speaker sounds good against haley3 and doomy does not love her. Other than that though i do not see why doomy3 shouldbt be able to play against cygnar and skorne...

In Germany skorne plays a lot of double be shooting lists and even with a bouncer doomy3 does not like getting shot. Cygnar is kind of similar with be and colossal. I like gunny a bit more than jarl cause he really helps ur stuff to be better. He helps gk to be capable of shooting 3 x pow 16 fully boosted 16" each turn. Explosivo is nice for the winter troll spray. And u got a wall every turn in a perfect spot. The Feat is simple but really effective. Do not forget the cover and no knock down part.

How about Doomy3 with 2 shamans? Sure, they can give one guy eyeless sight, but camp 1 and you are fine? Implacability ought to be extra nice if they play those Turtle things who knock you down all the time

Its not about shooting my caster. With our new runebearer + shaman + ebdt animus + janissa u can keep him safe. It's about them shooting down the stone and/or just shoot ur beasts before u reach their units.

Not to sound to ignorent or arrogant, but...
Your army list is actually at 69/75 points. I recalculated and plugged the list to count points.
Skaldi 1 is good for the Champions but not needed at all. His only bonus outher than adding 8 hit points to sanguine bond is minor. He brings Overtake to the unit wich is the beat non-redundent benifit. And pathfinder on charges.
In comparison if you took the Trollkin Champion Solo, the unit gains. Retaliatory Strike, on a unit with (usually) Def14 arm 18. Once an opponents attack resolves the model hit can make a strile back. Out of a p+s 12 weapon master at mat 8.
For champs i fins this a better option over Skaldi1. Further more you can add a weapon attachment to the unit to grant magic weapons and 5 extra hit points per 3pt model (which gives you two attachments at your current points)
Im also curious as the reason why you have the fire eaters in the list?
And dont forget the theme list makes all non-warlock Trollblood units Northkin Models so skaldi is even less needed.

I copy pasted the list in warroom and conflict chamber. Both were 75/75 points.
First fire eaters
I really love them at the start of mk3 but after theme were popular and fire eaters were not allowed they were forgotten. With our new theme they are back. They are really amazing for 7 points counting towards free points. I never had a problem to kill 7 points worth of models with them.
Champions
First I do not really like the sorcerer as an attachment for champs. I see a reason in some builts but this list has a lot of possible magic weapons. Explosivo + mist speaker. I would always play a sorcerer if u play madrak1 cause his healing is really nice .
Skaldi vs Hero In my opinion I would always go for skaldi first. The pathfinder option is nice getting 8 addition boxes is nice. The big benefit of champs are that the opponent misses his attacks vs champs which would negate the retoratary strike.
In general I see a lot of people putting too much points into the champs package. I really like the 21 points.

I definitely agree on people going too all in on the champ boat which exacerbates their weaknesses. Like rebuke even if it gets purged off dumpsters their threat range and can be applied turn after turn. Morg3s blind and sorscha1s stationary spells really ruins them too and in my meta morg3 is huge.

Morg3s blind and sorscha1s stationary spells really ruins them too and in my meta morg3 is huge. If you use eilish to remove rebuke it will not effect the champions at all though.

If you use eilish to remove rebuke it will not effect the champions at all though.TThis is true but i havent seen troll players gere run him because morg3 is the big one locally thats ruining champs and eilish does nothing to prevent his blind except threaten to kill marketh in 2-3 turns by which time the damage is done
