Right before Grymkin came out I got a second unit of Tuffalos, and never really got to use them before falling in love with Grymkin. Lately there's been an itch to try them out, and since I love MK I wanted to have it in the list as well and came up with this:
Theme: Band of Heroes 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Borka Kegslayer - WB: +28 - Keg Carrier - Mountain King - PC: 36 (Battlegroup Points Used: 28)
Fell Caller Hero - PC: 0 Fell Caller Hero - PC: 0
Trollkin Long Riders - Leader & 4 Grunts: 20 Trollkin Long Riders - Leader & 4 Grunts: 20 Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes - Leader & 3 Grunts: 6 - Stone Scribe Elder - PC: 3 Trollkin Champions - Leader & 4 Grunts: 16 - Skaldi Bonehammer - PC: 0 Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew - Leader & 1 Grunt: 2
I've tinkered pretty much this exact list with many casters, just want to hear your guys take. Should I just get on the bandwagon and go with Madrak 1?

Borka should be one of our better casters to play double long riders with. Many casters have great suport for ONE unit, but does nothing for the second. Borka at least gives them the feat, which is very relevant for them. Grissel 2 might also be an option, since both Dash and teh feat seem good for them.
Going SotN with the same list (it is really strange that two of our themes are so similar that you could play the exact same list in the other theme) would allow you to have the NK elder, and make the units even faster and punch even harder. You are giving up RFP tech and an out for incorporeal, but in most games i think the list will feel even stronger.
If you go SotN it is well worth considering changing the MK and gobbers for a GK and a shaman for the champions (magical weapons).

Thanks for the Sotn idea, but RFP and regular Elder do so much (in my meta at least) that I won't see myself running it. I do own a GK also though, so maybe...

Grissel 1. Hoof it lets a LR end up 10" from where it made attacks. Pretty tasty. Add a Runebeare and you can toss out a bunch of boundless charges for 12" slams with pathfinder. Play them in BoH so you don't have to worry about tough mucking up your impact attack routes.

Borka, Madrak1, and Grissel1 all sound like interesting options.

What about Madrack 2 in SotN?
Madrack2: -Rok -Brawler -Runebearer 2X Max Long riders Max Northkin Raiders Max Stone -Northkin Elder 2 Fell Callers Gobber Chef
Long riders under stone with the Northkin strength buff and Blood Fury hit at Pow 16 Weponmaster on the charge and Pow 14 weapon-master with the mount attack. Throw in the feat for infantry threshing as well.
It would take about 3 long riders on the charge to kill 1 khador heavy. With the fell caller they will wreck Legion. Mat 9 with Boosted charge attacks is a good way to put down Def 14-17.
Seems super legit.

Currently I am running one max unit with kolgrima in boh with a second unit in my specialties side deck.
The cover of clouds is in my meta enough to get the across
And cursed fate combined with lr impact hits and the extra die of hortol should be enough to remove swathes of infantry
