Building a list to fight against a specific person with a specific list seems sort of like cheating to me You wont become better at the game like that, but when it comes to beating ones brother i guess everything goes... Both Legion Gargantuans have poor MAT. The BB is actually MAT 5. He could theoretically bring a seraph to help, but i wouldnt count on it, since gargantuans cant be placed, so the animus is sort of wasted. So hit him where it hurts. Madrak 1 either with champions, or even better: in PoD. He will NOT like earthborns since he cant shoot them, and at DEF 14 (15 with a whelp) he cant kill them in melee either. Now i see that you do not own any EBDT... Better fix that It is kinda hard to build a good list of what you have. You can build decent PoD lists assuming you take the MK, but other than that you are missing some things. If you want to use the champions, it should be in a BoH or SotN list, but you have too few other options that works in that list to make a compelling list i think... The fastest and easiest way would be to buy an EBDT or two and play in PoD id say. conflictchamber.com/#c7201b_-0b4N0r9DiRjp0h0jjqhm7d6R0l0mTrollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Power of Dhunia (Madrak 1) Madrak Ironhide, Thornwood Chieftain [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Mulg the Ancient [22] - Troll Axer [10] - Troll Bouncer [9] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Gremlin Swarm [3]Janissa Stonetide [0(4)] Troll Whelps [0(4)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Stone Scribe Elder [3]

Does he have one if either gargantuan? If so he will have some severe speed issues because blighty is so rediculously slow. Thags doesn't do anything about that so he will have to rely in potshots with the archangel from a distance for some early damage.
Which is something you do a lot better. You have a lot if models to make a kriel company list around the Mountainking, warweagon and gunnbjorn. You can feed the weagon to one of the gargs to tank and return potshots, the mountainking will make short work of whatever assaults the weagon. The bomber and bowser-and-blitz..... (what is the name of gunny's bond troll again) can tear apart any legion garg while under rage and the sluggers and sons of bragg should be able to deal with what little support can still fit into the list.
Which will probably be warspears with UA? Terrrors is one out of two themes that allow both gargs, give +2 deployment and they mesh really well with the blightbringer and thagrosh. The other theme is oracles which allows for hexhunters and the blackfrost shard. My money is on an ogryn list though. Sad thing for the big guys is that kriel company is very well equiped to deal with them (priority target for your warweagon's pieplate).
Edit: withering ash on the blightbringers gun is an issue. Be carefull of that 18" threatrange

Man, if I were him I'd be running Kallus2 if I wanted to run the Gargantua. I don't recall if you have him, and he's generally considered bad, but Horgle2 will turn off both of their guns and animus, at least for the battlegroup. If he runs K2 that'll shut down your feat, though. Thagrosh will also mess with your feat. I've had fun with H2 in PoD before the CID, I expect it'd be better now. Not likely to be good, but better.
