You assume too much, this video doesn't provide enough information to make a judgement. I mean "carriage with guns and horses" allows for a wide array of actual representations, case in point most of our jacks can be described as "robot with an axe".
If it takes a theme to put all my mow units from shelf to table, then I'm okay with that. Better than waiting until somehow all models in any amount become equally viable on their own without theme.

Well EGG on my face. Face Eggs. Il be covered in eggs...On my face.
All battle engines will be reworked to support their armies better and be more impressive centerpiece models and will be more survivable.
So I guess A MOW battle Engine WILL do something cool with MOWs after all...Well....Uh. Egg...On My Face.

I'm disappointed to hear that it will have horses. Horses seem like such a glaring and obvious weakness. Oh look there is a big nasty gun platform being pulled by horses. Bang bang there go the horses and now it can just sit there. I realize in game terms it isn't that way but from a design sense it just doesn't make much sense to me. For another thing I think the IK needs to embrace its steampunk aspects more. Come up with more cool designs that use technology rather than...yawn...horses. I mean look at the Dwarven airships that were recently shown for Age of Sigmar. Now those are cool.
Now all that being said, while a whole army of Winterguard bores me to no end a whole army of MOW does not. The original Shocktroopers were one of the things that drew me to the game over a dozen years ago and to Khador. They still hold up and look great today too. So even if the MOW battle engine would have the exact same rules as the Fun Carriage (which it won't) I'd still want it for the MOW theme...cuz MOW are cool.

I think you guys should start getting comfortable with the idea that PP will start bundling more army selections into single Kits, like they did with Vicky and Connie. Their SKU volume is insane and they can't possibly expect retailers to keep stock of all their core items along with new releases. It's either that, or blatantly cycle out certain options via Organized Play. That there's a small possibility that they may produce one single Battle Engine kit with Winter Guard and Man O War options is actually similar to what most scale model and wargaming companies do for their tanks and vehicles. And even though they said it will have horses, I'm still hoping those horses are inside a Drop Pod

I though the new AoS Dorfs were overdesigned and ridiculous. Also, Cygnar has all the crazy Teslapunk technology ypu could want. If you don't like Khador's miltary research methods of "keep adding metal as long as it can move" then you know where to go.

I'm talking about the ones just shown within the last few days with the airships. If you don't like those though then we have no hope of agreeing. I ain't goin' nowhere son. Been with the faction for 12 years +. Red or dead.

I was personally hoping for a ultramarine-centurion style Battle Engine - A MOW in a Warjack, if you will.

It's a disappointing notion at first glance.
We can grumble till we're blue in the face about rumors, spoilers and the actual card, but... like with everything that gets released, Until you ACTUALLY PUT THE MODEL ON THE TABLE MULTIPLE TIMES we can't judge it.
IMO something considerably different would be the best thing for us.

Have the Gun Carriage pulled by two Drakhuns! Then give it Counter-charge.

Have the Gun Carriage pulled by two Drakhuns! Then give it Counter-charge. Heh, then when it gets destroyed you get to place two mounted Drakhun models inside the area previously taken up by it's base. Then when they get destroyed you place the unmounted MOW model... you know, like a matryoshka doll carrying twins!

Nah, it should start as a Drakhun, then your opponent kills it and it becomes an Uhlan, then he kills THAT and it becomes a Greylord Outrider, then he kills THAT and they become war dogs and Butcher3 jumps out the battle engine then he kills HIM and he becomes Malakov then he kills HIM and he becomes Reinholt then he kills HIM and he becomes a Gremlin Swarm then he kills THAT and he becomes a Cask Imp then he kills THAT and it becomes a feralgheist then he kills THAT and he becomes a soul token then a warcaster uses it to cast Curse Of Shadows on unit that Tarturus kills and then it becomes a Bane then YOU have to kill that...etc etc. It's call Old Witch's Matryoshka and costs 75pts. Here's hoping there's a Kossite battle engine in the works that is pulled by sled dogs.
On second though, I'm pretty sure I just invented Butcher4.
