I'm going to Playtest her again tomorrow. I think Divinator is going to make her feat turn seem a lot better...as it works for her guns, her spells, and all her warjack attacks. I'm interested to see if the crow gun now feels a bit underwhelming.

The hit her ranged attack seems pretty over the top. Really reduces her ability to hit anything in melee or even with spells.

Agreed, I think they knocked her a little too far in the wrong direction.

If she was a higher RAT I don't think it would be as big an issue but having to boost to reliabky hit DEF 12 and no effect on a miss is just sad.

I think the idea is tha divinator helps with the hitting. Theoretically.

Noticed one of the things her hordes version does better than ours last night. She can get the bushwack animus (skin and moans I think?), so she can shoot then move away from that brutal 10" range.

She also has access to an arcnode...and you know: 7 Free Fury every turn as opposed to sharing it with Jacks.
This is where I believe this becomes the closest "Fury VS Focus" comparison in the History of Warmahordes.

In my Honest Opinion I think both games could have been brought allot closer together if Warcasters had extra focus they could give only to their jacks.
Otherwise it has to straddle this much more complicated balance of "Better stuff sometimes?"

Power-up is optional, and the caster can choose to keep it for themselves? Not for themselves. Like they get a Pool of extra focus they can only use on Jacks. I dunno. Point being that its very difficult balancing Focus and Fury because Fury is a better mechanic. So focus can only be compensated with spam or raw power....Which is kinda whats happening now.

This is where I believe this becomes the closest "Fury VS Focus" comparison in the History of Warmahordes. If you want to actually use the arc node you either need to play in a beast theme, in which case you get one use of it (and no use of Arcane Vortex) or have a 13pt support model feed it corpses because collecting them for itself is both difficult (Spd4) and might get it stuck in combat and unable to channel in the first place. Let's not pretend the Cage Rager has no drawbacks.

It costs as much as a Destroyer, Grants you Access to Blessed and doesn't hit half bad. Its at the moment regarded as one of the best models in the faction.
Its not the BEST Arcnode, but its better then the Khador. And She is an especially spell slinging warlock.

Saying "she has an arc node" is misleading and making it sound like they have a Lancer or Chimera type model, you just failed to mention its on a slow heavy and it needs to spend a corpse to become an arc node.

What I'm finding is that if I have to cast bloody Windstorm to stop her getting shot off the table, I have basically nothing left to work with... I can cast one other spell OR allocate to jacks.
With the fury version I can cast Windstorm if I need it, cast another spell and camp one or two while my beasts are still fully effective.
