Not super amazing but I've got two painted ones and I'll do it. Plus, you can even use locomotion to help their threat range when they pop up!
...I mean, it's a form of turd polishing for sure, but probably falls into the realm of "things I can't rely on but have the potential to really catch my opponent in a bad way", which is good enough for me to try.

I know this sounds silly, but hear me out... isn't Morty2 the perfect place to put one (or even 2) Helldivers? The CMD limitation of her feat means they aren't too slow to be useful, they literally cannot be shot out before they get to enable the feat, and they're the cheapest feat-enablers we can bring. Am I insane or are they actually viable with Morty2? -und_ed Yes and no. She might be the best place for them, but I'm still not sure they're worth it with our current releases. I feel like you'd only get good use out of them if you play her in a brick style she doesn't lend herself to very well. Her big things are movement shenanigans and ignoring defensive buffs. Her kit makes me want to play an aggressive game and I don't think burrowed Helldivers can keep up to the point where I feel that even if you do pop up & walk you probably won't be in melee to provide Flank unless you receive an additional Locomotion. If Cryx ever gets a slow & durable Jack Chasis like the Khador clamjacks to brick with, then I can see the Helldiver working with her since you could build more around Salvage & the feat. Honestly I don't think the Helldiver is that bad, it just needs the right noncharacter Heavy to compliment it. The Helldiver is a decent light jack for brick lists. It has decent defensive stats with Dig In and the most obnoxious damage grid of any noncharacter light. I think it could be great with as part of a defensive Warjack brick, but we don't have any heavy that really fits that role and Helldivers aren't going to be doing any Heavy lifting. The closest thing Cryx has to a Brick Heavy is the Inflictor, and while they're great they aren't exactly that hard to kill, especially if your opponent gets lucky and cripples the Buckler early. Like, if I could take the Helldiver alongside a chassis like the Devastator or the Aradus I'd actually consider putting it on the table.

Can't the inflictor work, or does the overreach of the model and lack of reach break it.

Can't the inflictor work, or does the overreach of the model and lack of reach break it. While it's tanky by Cryx standards the Inflictor is still pretty flimsy. It drops to the standard Cryx 13/17 the moment it takes just 7 damage to the 1 & it only has 28 boxes overall. Anyone who's prepared to take on a Marauder brick is going to rickroll multiple Inflictors.

Can't the inflictor work, or does the overreach of the model and lack of reach break it. It actually has 2" melee range on its main weapon.
