Tell me where I'm going wrong here. Skuld > Boomie2 >Champs > Quicken+repo 3
that works correct? presuming Boomer keeps what we saw in the preview.

Walk 8 plus repo 3 is not greater than run 16". If anything repo is good for the charge where you can charge individual models in, kill their target and repo back into b2b

But if you put all that on the bomber, walk 7 shoot 12 repo 3 leaves him in a very safe place and that is assuming you did not trigger Swift Hunter.

Thanks. Wasn't really concerned with the overall movement distance, just making sure there wasn't a "you can't do that" rules overlap i was missing. Just wanted to know I could get them back into defensive after engaging.
Appreciate the extra little tech bits though.

Seems very good as you might get an alpha, charge in, overtake around a bit and then when you are all done, repo in to pods, preferably layered so that they cant retaliate against all models. Champions who get to do work lore than once are the best kind or champions π

define "alpha". Not trying to be snotty or anything but I just struggle to see Champions as an alpha in the classical sense. Fenns or raiders, or something. Even under Skuld and stone their threat range is just too mediocre/bad to be any kind of alpha these days. I do love them for a followup wave though. Which is where my Boom2 question came from, to have them come in as cleanup, repo to be more defensive, and then stay in the game longer when some of those big scary threats to them have had a chance to be whittled down a bit.

Under Skuld with a central forest or cloud they make gunlines cry. Run behind the forest, feat to cover the flanks, then run to engage all the happy soldier boys that don't want to see the enemy up close.

They threaten 11" with Jarl on the charge, and that is high average. You also have a cloud wall feat. Id say that there is a very good chance that champs will get to charge enemy models before they get to charge the champs.
