I asked this in the new players thread as well, but only an "I figure..." response so I want to ask here as well.
I had the krielstone bearer knocked down. He has no attack action to give up, and protective aura is not a star action, so does that mean he can only stand if he gives up his movement? Does he have a "combat action" to give up? Can he give up his "attack" (which he does not have the ability to do) and stand up, then move?
When we played he gave up his movement to stand and "did" (it's not a star action or a spell it seems) protective aura. Did we play it correctly? Or could I have also moved.

Couldn't have moved but can pop aura at any time so yes you can stand up and then pop aura. Just can't move and you have to sacrifice movement

The stone bearer has a combat action like other models, even it does not have a weapon. Otherwise it would never be able to run for example. You can sacrifice its combat action and advance up to 5" if he was lying down. If the the unit recieves a press forward order, the other guys could still run or charge as normal. When asking rules questions, the PP forum is WAY better. the rules guys there are amazing, and ppl who are not huge rules nerds generally do not answer questions in the rules forums. (no offense intended macdaddy). I for example almost never dare to answer a question there. I consider myself well above the average player in rules knowledge, and i handle basically all rules issues in my gaming club, but i am NOTHING compared to the enthusiasts in the rules forums. This is probably the one thing that is still good with the new PP forums, so lets use it!
