Just quick glanced the SR 2017 - Beta, in CID I believe. SR 2017 CID Week OneFirst think I saw: Objective Fuel Cache - Choose FF model within 4" of this model. That model's weapons gain Continuous Effect: Fire for one round. My initial thought is "Great, now my Pummeler is use-able, and can really help Horgle2..." Second thought is "This ain't gonna stay valid." [See reference to ~1hr typo mistake of Highwaymen w/ POW 12 guns in Insider thread]. 3rd thought is "If it does, War Wagon = shake and bake" 4th thought is "My other Factions will have equally broken stuff with that objective" 5th thought is "For one round?" Please note other considerations you may discover relative to Trollbloods and the 2017 SR CID!

There was a huge kerfuffle over the pre-measuring/marker limit. I'm with the opposition to the new rule, even though I would rarely break it, as it takes away most of the simplicity and clarity that we got from pre-measuring.
The fuel cache is pretty crazy on anything with a large aoe and good range, though. That also got a lot of attention in those forums.

I posted in the Facebook 'former PG' group that 40mm bases, especially without 2" melee, are more difficult to fit, en masse around a target. So that the 'one marker' rule disproportionately affects those UNITS with 40mm or larger bases without 2" melee. I.e. Bane Riders, Long Riders, all non Fennblade type Trollblood Trollkin units. Need to post that in the CID forum. Justification: 10 years of playing my 40mm based Trollbloods, AND 9 years of playing my 30mm based Khador!

The new fuel cache is fun and much more useful, bunker got nerfed, which is probably fine.
The scenarios I've played so far have been REALLY dead, which wasn't what I was expecting.
The game on outlast was cute, we spent the entirety of the game contesting the zones and sitting on our flags lobbing shit at each other's warcaster for three rounds until one of us successfully killed the other.
The other game was on recon, which ended before either of use could even think about scoring for scenario.
Highlight of the games was the swamp troll crit consuming kicky-monk needing something like a 14 and rolling boosted box cars.

Previously it was all bunker all the time. Now it is all fuel cache all the time? They sure do not wan ppl to play infantry... We are safe(r) though thanks to stone The new rule about proxy bases is absolute BS though. If they want to reduce clutter on the board, just make the rule "you have to remove your markers asap" and it will be fine. This risks reducing precision, and that is not a good thing. It got huge criticism in the dev talk thread though, so (like the random game length) it may well disappear... If you are against it, make sure you mention how it impacted your actual games in the battle reports. Clear criticism on when and why it was a determent in actual games will make them listen. As will constructive suggestions on other solutions to the "problem". I honestly have never seen it as a problem. Jarls feat is a way bigger problem for table clutter imo... Other than that, it all looks reasonable. Havent played yet, and i just had surgery on my shoulder, so i may not be able to actually play the game for 4 weeks... I already missed game night this monday due to easter stuff... This is a way bigger problem than any amount of table clutter!
