Game 18.
I was supposed to play vs. Ret and I was excited to try out a new double Supreme Guardian list, but he couldnt make it, so it was maelock again....ugh. I played: Xerxis1 -Tiberon -Krea Supreme Guardian Supreme Guardian Hakaar Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian 2x full immortals with UA 1x min immortals with UA
vs. Maelock -Wrastler -Bull Snapper -Boneswarm -Soul Slave Witch Doctor Underschief Mire -Boneswarm 4x full possee
Scenario is invasion
T1. He runs up. Death pact up. He's spread even across the board. t1. I also run up, but somehow just screw up measuring badly. I get up defenders ward on 1 SG.
T2. He knows from the last game that SG's need 12's to kill a gator under feat, so he jams into me hard. I really expected him to try and mortality me to burn souls, be he didnt. I hit 2 gators as they come in, but they get charges on my SG's. I take some damage t2. I move up and feat. I packed in horrbly and have to have a really bad order of activation choices. I just have to thresher into some of guys, which is fine since I need souls anyway. So with feat, I kill 1 gator across both SG's thresher which is fine. There are a ton of gators on 1 box. I also have to kill my own objective, but its fine. With charges and going incorporeal and hakaar and everthing, I probably kill half his army under his feat.
T3. He blows everything on mortality and death pact and even gets a mortality from the Soul Slave. He lands 1, but its the one with defenders ward. I killed enough gators that he is able to clear a path easy. He puts everything into both of them and they go down, but that's all he kills. T3. I have a perfect lurch/Tibbers assassiantion run. His caster is on 0. He measure it out and its like .00000000001 inch short....So tibbers comes in and kill a gator, his wrastler and a bone swarm. I kill the bull snapper, his other bone swarm and a ton of gator. I MAKE SURE I STAY OUT OF SAC STRIKE RANGE.
T4. He's got nothing...left really. He is able to land a mortality on me and then charge in Mire, who has poison and can be a little scary. He does like 8 to me. T4. I kill Mire just to be sure. Tibbers sucks and cant kill Maelock on a freaking 0 camp. Hakaar charges in and one shots him.
This list felt good to me. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to have enough souls with a min unit. I did, its only 4 guys. Still needs more testing though and i'm starting to wonder if I need 2 AG's as crazy as that sounds.
17-1

Game 19 I opt to play Morghul3 again. I didnt make any changes. I should have. Morghul3 -Marketh -Archidon -Krea -Shaman Supreme Guardian Vessel Vessel Guardian Guardian Hakaar 3x Immortals with Ua
Kreoss2 -Fire of Salvation -Indictor Gravus Bastion Seneschal Gade Choir 2x Errants Bastions exemplar with UA
Scenario is invasion. I really have to change that table up.
T1. I run up. I occulate the unit on the right and get the unit on the left in a trench. I keep the middle just a tad back. T1. He runs up. Errants on the flanks. Bastions on the right, exemplar on the left. He gets up castigate (dick puncher of spell to me), and defenders ward on the left unit.
T2. I am able to run a vessel to the deep left and arc blind onto those errants on my left. On the right, I just stay back 10" or so. I take what small amount of shots that I have and hit and kill with everyone and he toughs with no knock down every one.... T2. Blind on the left, and the bastions cant do anything, they are too far back. He does double purity on the errants. No more blind for me, which is a really big deal. On the right, he gets agressive and just comes at me.
t3. I feat and get into him. Morghul just gets in there and kills like 5 dudes and he self sacs them all so I cant sprint. I hit the bastions with blind instead. My immortals come in and I leave that left squad on 2 guys. On the right, I go in....He toughs every single kill I make...I have to kill some guys to fuel up the SG who charges in and kills fire of salvation, Gade who sac's to another guy and probably 4 errants. I think I am in amazing shape. t3. Kreoss man's up, feats and charges the Supreme Guardian. I defensive strike him and miss. He buys out attacks and does all but like 10. So...Kreoss2 Feat > Blind....I lose a ton of guys. Stupid of me for moving within the bastions melee range. I did take some stikes as I went in and I did some good damage. They kill my archidon. On the right, with exemplars and overtake and all the shit they have, I lose that entire unit. That zone is held down with a vessel...The other jack comes in and kills the SG and the krea.
t4. Not good at all..... Morghul and team charges in, blinds the bastions and kills them all. I kill the bastion solo too. I take that zone, but I have not shit on the right. I pile everything I can into Indictor and kill it. Mostly with Hakaar and a guardian. 1-0 T4. Gravus comes from across board and kills hakaar and a guardian. he kills the vessel. Choir runs into my zone. The board is open. 1-1
t5. Guardian kills Gravus and his dismount. Shaman goes to kill the last errant on that side, but he toughs. I kill the choir. 2-2. T5. exemplars come over and kill some immortals. His caster camps and runs at me.
Right now on the board.....full exemplar. 1 errant vs. maybe 7 immortals and a shaman. He has 2 min on clock and I have about 5.
T6. I move up morghul and blind the exemplar, I move back. The shaman finally laser eye's down that last errant. I score my zone, he cant score his since some of the exemplar arent in it. 3-2 T6. Blind exemplar cant do shit. He walks them back, I free strike them to death. His caster is in my face of full camp. I score my zone. 4-2.
T7. I blow up the objecitve, and score the middle zone and run a guy into his zone. 6-2. He can't get to cyclops. t7. He clocks
Amazing game.
18-1

I bought two supreme guardians and have enjoyed running both. Especially under rasheth, there is just so much you can do when you can bring back arc nodes basically where ever you want to.
I also had the same dream of morg doing amazing sprint stuff but that didn't really pan out and he is a blind bot for me as well. I think his bg just became 2 shaman and a raider for me.
Love the reports btw!

Game 20!!!
Everyone at the LGS is prepping for Captaincon, so I was asked what pairing was. I went with Zaal2 and Rasheth. My opponent had Ossyan and Vyros2.
I was clearly dropping Zaal2, as it was my anti shooting list and I assumed that we would drop Vyros2, since he knew that I had to drop Zaal2. But nope, he wanted to stress test his list, so Ossyan it was.
I switched up my Zaal2 list to run double guardian Zaal2 -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakaar full Immortals with UA x2 min Immortals with UA
vs. Ossyan -Manitcore -Deamon -Fane Trident Trident 2x Invictors with UA Eiryss Sniper Sniper arcanist
Scenario was Pit2.
T1. He runs up. One trident in the middle leaning a little right and the other to the right. Invictors on the flanks, snipers to my left. jacks in the middle. He gets up admonition on the deamon, fortune on a trident and quicken on the left invictors. T1. RUN! I have both guardians next to each other. I am hopefully just going to win the on the left hand side. I get up vision on one of the SG's and aura of power and run straight forward and feat.
t2. His caster is a little out of position and he can move up and feat, but opts to take potshots and hopes for the best. He puts 9 into one SG with vision and then CRA's in the other one with invictors. He boosts all of his shots from jacks into the one with vision, but I just tank them. Then he puts all the tridents into two units and kills some guys. Other invictors kill a couple of guys. T2. Vengence! I just make up some distance. I move my caster to safety and just camp a few just in case. On the left, the SG can charge the objective and catch a few invictors that he had to put there. I kill them all and the objecitve. On the right, a misplay in that he forgot that I could see a huge base though the woods. I get 4 charges into him and just spike dice like crazy. 2 shots from shamans take down that trident. In the middle, i just run a full unit into the zone. I think I get 1 charge off on a jack. He admonitions the other back. I clear that zone and score 3. 3-0.
T3. Ossyan moves up and feats. Invictors and trident go bonkers on the right side. I am left with UA from a full squad and the UA and 2 guys from the other, plus he kills Hakaar and takes a shaman down by half. On the other side, 6 damage from snipers into an SG, then it all goes to hell....
Eiryss survives a free strike and tries to shoot an immortal. 1,1. He has to trample the fully loaded jack into my SG now. He takes 1 free strike and I do ok damage, like 3 maybe. Then I take my defensive strike and I knock out his cortex and all his focus comes off. The jack cant do anything but sit there. So, the other jack I had hit with like 2 charges before. He also has to take a free strike. I roll like 6,6,7 and blow out both is arms....it does nothing to me. No score 3-0.
T3. Caster has like 17 focus. Vengence! just for position mostly but I take down a few invictors. Upkeep Aura of Power. Zaal2 runs into my square zone. Stupid Ossyan feat. I do shoot him with both shamans and a raider. Knock off 1 focus and do 3 points. For good measure, one SG takes out both his wounded jacks. The other SG kills the snipers and a few invictors. Loaded AG kills the trident with stuff burnt from Aura of Power. I have 3 immortals from one unit that can go incorporeal and charge Ossyan. They. I leave him on 6. I have one that can make it from my min squad on the right. He goes and with help to hit fro Aura, Ossyan gets planted.
GG.
No games next week, I am on vacation.

Game 21 back from vacation. I wanted to get Makeda3 on the board since I got her painted up. I don't really like my battle group choices, but I just didnt feel like I needed more hitting power with Molik Karn. I wanted some utility and I've been having a ton of success with the shaman/shaman/raider group.
I went with Makeda3 -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakaar 2x Full Immortals with UA 1x Min Immortals with UA
vs.
Iona -Feral -Gheteorix Wolf rider champ LoTF Bridgit and Caul Tharn shaman full trackers with UA full wolf riders full ravagers with UA pot
T1. He runs up very agressive. Trackers and wolf riders on the left, everything else to the right and beasts in the middle. He held LoTF back just a bit. T1. I opt for a really ballsy play. I measure it out and with a failed charge, I can get Brigit and Caul within 10" of Makeda and be "pretty safe". I so run up one of her court so I stop at the exact distance on a failed charge. I cast incite and charge. Fail and catch them. Two shaman shots and they are dead bottom of 1. I surround myself to block any shennagians Iona may have. On the other side, he is so agressive, i just advance and both guardians fire into trackers. I miss due to stealth, but with scatters still kill 3. Raider drops a wolf riders. On the right, I pile immortals behind a forest so LoTF cant do anything.
T2. Iona upkeeps some spell, notably surefoot on the ravagers. No targets for them, so they just flood into the rectangle zone on my side. Trackers and wolf riders get into me. I think i lose probably 15 immortals. Some repo into me to jam, others move back. The Wolf rider solo comes in and kills an AG. T2. Surf time. I feat, and in goes Makea. I kill 4 guys, then blood boon an eliminator and kill 3 more, that 6" move gets me into quite a bit more. Supreme guarians bring back 6 guys. I blow up the objective and everything on that half of the board is dead. I have to sacrifice Hakaar to that stupid wolf solo. Other than that, walk an immortal into my zone so he cant score. 2-0.
T3. I wiped out that right, there is nothing there. Any he has no LOS to my immortals on the right. He kills the guy I put in, feats for AR, tramples in the feral and kills some guys. LoTF runs to the back center so he can kill all those guys that pushed up. He scores my zone and the objective. 2-2. T3. Ah vengece on that right side...Get me through that woods into charge LOS. Push towards the middle with everything to the left. Shoot the pot and guy with battle group and kill them. Right side immortals finally charge in and even under feat + dodge from Iona kill 3. I kill the feral and score my zone 3-2.
T4. Makeda is only camping 1. Lord of the feast opts to come in for the kill. He is loaded on corpses from the pot. He charges, kills a guy, birds into Makeda, but I have bulwark up and after my transfer, he did 9. Ravagers freaking kill that side of the board, but the UA who I kept back. Gheteorix just sits there staring at 2 Supreme guardians just outside of threat. He scores my zone 3-3. T4. Vengence from the 1 guy Lord of the feast killed puts that unit just enough to get on his caster. But I cant get LoTf off Makeda to move up and get incite on her. Hakaar charges in finally after having to get out of position and kills the last two ravagers. I roll freaking insane and do a ton o damage to ghetoerix with my battle group. Instead of getting on his caster, I think the last 4 immortals can kill Gheteorix now that they will be within Hakaar's bonus. So I charge in and kill him and the shaman. The supreme guardians run up and bring back guys. I score 2 of the 3 zones and go 5-3.
T5. He only has Iona left. He conceeds.
Great game1

Game 22
I went with Makeda3 -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakaar 2x Full Immortals with UA 1x Min Immortals with UA
Gaspy3 9 slayers 2 nodes 1 shrike soul trapper iron mongers
T1. He runs. Damn that's a fast list. T1. I cast bulwark and everything moves up. I do my best to space out what he can get into.
T2. He feats and here he comes....He kills so much. Gets into one supreme guardian and leaves it on 10. Gets into the other one and does 10. Kills Hakaar too. Probably lose 15 immortals. T2. Makeda is boxed in badly by my SG's. I can only get to one node and shrike and still back to safety. I feat and get there. I kill those, and end up on a 3 camp. My battle group tries to kill his iron mongers. BAD DICE? THEY ARE ALL CAUGHT IN INICTE AND DO 2 DAMAGE TO THEM WITH ALL 3 RANGED ATTACKS. Fortunatley the rest of my army shines through. I kill 4 of the slayers, 4 are within 5 boxes with no cortexes and 1 could not touch.
T3. He kills what he can with a lot of 1 arm attacks. It was still quite a bit. He is able to iron mongers on 3 jacks and do some nice fixing. He kills one of my SG's and leaves the other on 3. T3. I have probably 10 immortals left, my battle group both ancestrals and 1 supreme. I kill evertything but one jack and his node and his caster.
T4. He kills my SG with a spell (d'oh! no soul on it) his last jack tramples and kills like 4. t4. Incite, Makea + AG kills his last slayer and I shoot Gaspy3 to death with my battle group.
I really though that game would be a lay up. If I could have had Makeda kill a slayer that was in a key position, I think it would have been.
21-1

Game 23. I am asked to make a pairing for tourney prep. I go with Zaal2/Makeda. I am stairing down Gearheart/McKay. So...I am about to be shot. Sounds like Zaal2.
I had experimented with Zaal2, double AG, but I dont think I like it. I went back with single with him.
Zaal2 -Raider -Shaman -Shaman SG AG AG Hakaar Abiden 3x Noviate 3x immortals with UA
vs.
Gearheart -Vulcan -Alice Prospero -Retaliator 3x trancer 2x rocket CG Infantry with UA min rocketmen with 3x slug guns.
T1. Vision on the SG, Aura of power and run. I stay the 22" from the infantry. T1. Hotshot on the vulcan, snipe on himself. he moves up and is just out of range. Fires twice and gets 2 PERFECT scatters with the stupid acid aoe and get 7 guys.....so pissed. The rest of his stuff runs up. Vulcan to the right/center, infantry on the left, rocket men on the right.
T2. Well, not really much I can do. Feat and run everything up. I kill 2 trancers and and one artillery guy. T2. Stress test coming.....I can I withstand all this shooting. Vulcan goes first. Has to play a risky move and kill Abiden who I thought was in a good spot. It takes big gun and reload to do it. Sprays take down a few guys. Now Gearheart goes and feats. Puts prey on a unit of immortals and fires the shadow bind gun into my SG. With Abiden dead, SG is now a sad panda. Rocketman maybe kill guy. Rifleman use mini feat and with prey kill all but 1 guy. Prospero + jack also kill a guy.
So my one pro tip....vs. Gearhert or heretic, play one dude from each unit WAY back. That way they cant prey swap. I had one guy way back.
T3. I have 27 focus.......Vengence gets guys into position. Gearheart is in a trench at def 19. Immortals part like the red sea and Zaal2 charges the Vulcan. I am 9.5" away from Gearhart. Boost a sunder spirit, miss. Hit the next 3 and bury him.
Good thing too, otherwise I think I die. Vulcan hotshot would run rampant and I have nothing to stop 2 shadow binds a turn.
In all honesty though, I think the only hope i had was going first.....
22-1.
Going to finish out the month of feb playing this theme force then play Grymkin for a month again. The clockatrice is calling me......

After a few months hiatus from this theme, I had to break it out for a few games yesterday. Game 24 Xerxis -Tibbers -Krea Supreme Guardian supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakar Immortals with UA Immortals with UA min Immortals with UA
vs. Stryker2 -Ol Rowdy -Ironclad -Ironclad Savio Stormblades with UA Stormblades with UA Stormlances Stormlances
T1. With advanced move, and everything running at full, he is like half away across the board. I dont even think he got up a spell, everything just ran full steam at me! T1. One thing I noticed was that he did not have Rupert or a way to grant pathfinder, so I plopped 1 SG behind a pond and kept it safe from a full charge of lances. Other than that, I just walked up so only the lances could get into me, I used my souls to get +2 def, I got up defenders ward on the middle unit and feated. Then I just piled in as best I could to make him hit me with minimal damage.
t2. He can charge me with some lances. He's a little boxed in my his own placement. I had anticipated that the runs in the 2x blades and feats after the lances come in and thats exactly what happens. I have the SG's fairly well protected and if he wants to press too deep, there are plenty of defensive strikes that help to offset damage. So he gets up 2x postive charge and moves Striker2 back to a safe spot. In comes the blades with iron zeal. Then run run in. Next come in the lances. I lose track, but with their charges and the feat, I lose about 18 guys and have 1 SG on like 4 boxes. The HUGE saving grace was the + 2 def and defenders ward made him miss quite a few more attacks than either of us were anticipating. T2. This is hands down the best dice I have ever rolled. I honestly dont think I missed but 3 vengence attacks, mostly thanks to Hakar. I did insane damage with just vengence. Tibbers kills 4 storm blades on his one. Xerxis has to move pretty deep left to make sure that Stryker2 cant kill him next turn and takes down a few guys. My krea has an aiming shot onto S2 and if I hit it, I think I can get 4 immortals on to S2. I miss and go for attrition. In the end, I kill his whole army but Ol Rowdy and Striker.
T3. Concession!
Well, short but sweet. Twas the tale of vengence attacks though. We were packed so tight that I couldn't even thresher with my SG's or I would wipe out my own guys. Another big help was that I did not lose 1 guy to an eleap.

Game 25 Rasheth -Krea -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakar 2x Noviates Vessel 3x full immortals
Orion -Confulx -corollary -6x modulators 3x elimination servitors 2x reflex servitors
So his theory is to blow me off the board. On optimal dice, each modulator can kill 6 immortals at range and then 9 more from eliminator servitors. Orion's feat make sure they hit.
Scenario is invasion
T1. He runs up very aggressive. Nothing really other than that. T1. His shooting is scary. I stay out of the range of his reflex servitors and take shots with everything with a gun at eliminator servitors. I run up my node and rip off 4 sunder spirits into elimination servitors. In all, I drop 7 of his 9 which is HUGE. I get my immortals +2 def and look for anything that can help. On the left I run into a woods and on the right, I run onto a hill. Rasheth is in rubble behind the SG.
T2. He unloads into me. Feat + shots everywhere. He had to switch mid plan though. I think initally he wanted to drop the SG and look for assassinaton but with some rough die rolls, he realized that wasnt going to happen so he switched to attrition. The SG lives at 4 boxes, Hakar dies and I lose 10ish immortals. It wasnt terrible. The anciallary pow10 damage rolls he gets on the guns never materialized to do much damage. T2. I get agressive. Vengence everyone. I move up rasheth and pop feat. I use one guy to arc through and get up -2 AR on his left jack in the middle zone. I only catch his objective and 2 jacks in the middle zone, so servitors and 1 jack in the left zone. I clear the left zone. In the middle I take down both jacks and the objective. I clear the servitors in the right zone. I go up 4-0.
T3. Looks very bad, but not all is lost. He's still got 3 heavies, + corollory and his colossal. Orion guns down people, focus flys everywhere and most, the SG dies to the colossal and he gets out a servitor that gives + to electrical rolls. He one out in T2 as well, but i killed it. After all that, I have about 9 immortals left and my AG's who are way out of the game. T3. I vengence up what I have, no attacks. I run my novaites up and arc through them at Orion landing the -2 AR spell and some damage. 4 immortals put him in the scrap pile.
Ended up being a WHOLE lot closer than T2 looked. Had I not killed him, I would have easily lost on attrition.

Game 26. I finally got my Mammoth put together and table top worthy, So I wanted to take him out for killing and there is nothing better to kill than Tharn.
Zaal2 -Mammoth Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakaar Soulward Novitiate 3x full Immortals with UA
vs. Gayle -Feral -Gherorix Well of Orboros Lord of the Feast Wolf Rider Champ Brighid & Caul Blood Weavers Ravagers w UA Ravagers w UA
Scenario was one being tested for SR2019. It had flags, objectives and 2 circles towards the outer edge.
T1. He wins the die roll and goes first. He runs up agressively. There wasn't any terrain set up that was going to dominate the board. He gets up death march on one unit of Ravagers and Storm Rager on Lord of the Feast. T1. I opt to slow play. Generally I feel favorable into Tharn with Immortals since they cant run up corpse tokens on me. But I also don't need to give him a hard alpha. So I stay out of this threat ranges. I get up Vision my my SG and Aura of Power goes up.
T2. He's stuck a bit as far as damage output and threat range, he cant get to me. He ambushes in the bloodweavers and they get into one of my flanking units, but his rolls are horrible and i only lose a few guys. He basically backs up and goes to the edges of the zones. T2. I wipe out the ambushing blood reavers with vengence. I charge forward and pop feat. I give the Mammoth eyeless sight and shoot his blood witch on his flag. I am able to take his objective and go up 2-0
T3. He's playing into my feat, which is going to be tough for him. He charges up Grayle and kills 2 immortas, feats and sprints back to safety. He moves up his two heavies with the feat move. Lord of the feast moves up, tosses his bird at my mammoth and lands behind it, threshering into the objective, the mammoth and the soul ward. He buys out an attacks on the objective, but fails to drop it by 2. His ravagers bounce of immortals. As a last bit of desperation, he charges the SG with Brigit and Caul. I hit Caul with a defensive strike, but roll bad for damage and he lives. Caul cant finish the job, but the wolf rider champ can. T3. I upkeep my spells. Zaal gets his hands dirty and kills Lord of the Feast on his own. Hakaar takes down the champ with vengence and then Brigit and Caul with normal attacks. Immortals sorta flail ravagers and dont do nearly the damage they should. I manage to take down the feral in the mix. It wasnt an impressive turn at all. Lots of lower dice rolls from immortals really evened the field. Its ravagers vs. Immortals and a Mammoth vs. Ghetorix bascially but I still have most of my key solos and the score goes somewhere in the 4-1 range.
T4. Dice heat up, he kills 13 immortals with remaining pieces, but he is really poorly positioned and he fails to kill Hakaar, that +1 to hit is going to help me out quite a bit and Grayle is a tough position. He had to get on a flag to get some scenario presence. Score goes 4-2 I think. T4. I start the turn with 20 focus and a vengence move on Zaal2. I run an immortal next to Grayle and then shoot him with the Mammoths big gun for some chip damage. Zaal2 then moves up and is easily able to spell Grayle to death.
So, the Mammoth didnt WoW me like I thought he would, but In the two turns of firing, I rolled a 1 for number of shots and then shot my own guy on purpose. However, my opponent really felt like he brought a huge amount of board control and dictated quite a bit of the pace. I liked him in the list and started to get some paint on him.

Game 27. Rasheth -Krea -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakar 2x Noviates Vessel 3x full immortals
This game is basically the same one as above, but I get a very commanding lead up front.
T1. He runs up as far as he can, so he wont be locked out of scenario. Death march on one unit and Storm Rager on Lord of the Feast. T1. I can bascially dictate the pace right here I think. I run up my arc node. Rasheth moves up and unloads. Blood Mark and 2 sunder spirits kills a ravager and then with hot dice, shamans and the raider each take down 1 for a total of 4. All tough checks failed. Again, i opt to slow play, but have to give him a few guys.
T2. He comes into me with what he has. 2 ravages from that unit take down a few immortals and the weavers come in and probably take down 1/2 a unit of immortals. He opts to pull the rest of his units back to try and draw me out. T2. I run up 2 immortals to get near his flag. I drop carnivore on the unit engaging the blood weavers and then breath of corruption his witch solo on the flag. The immortals and an AG make quick work of them. I blow up his objective with my shooting battle group and the ravagers on my side of the board fall easy. I recur 3 dead immortals and I go up 2-0.
Its really rough. He's down a whole unit of ravagers, a whole unit of blood weavers, a solo, down 2-0 and I'm down maybe 6 guys after recurrsion.
T3. Grayle moves up and feats and kills the guys near the flag. The feat starts to trigger. Lord of the feast comes in and kills 4ish guys triggering 4 more moves. He continues to pull guys and gets a pretty commanding presence and is able to get a fair amount of attacks. I also make a fair amount of tough checks. Score goes to 2-1. T3. I feat and just destroy what's left. He ends up with Grayle and his fearal, neither in charge range of Rasheth and the scores goes 5-1.
T4. We play it out, but i win on his turn.
2nd game in the row vs. the Well of Orobos. Solid piece for 10 points, but its gun is easily avoidable. Its great because it hits immortals easy so you can just space them out and largly avoid blast damage. He can overshoot and hopes of deviating, but thats a risky strategy.

Game 28 Zaal2 -Mammoth Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakaar Soulward Novitiate 3x full Immortals with UA
vs. Orion -Confulx -corollary -6x modulators 3x elimination servitors 2x reflex servitors
His plan is to gun me down of course!
T1. He runs up as far as he can go, very simple plan. Conflux in middle and he gets up avenging force. T1. I wonder if I shouldn't feat and run up. Instead I get up vision on my SG and move up just inside his threat range of some of his guys. Everyone goes to def 13. If he presses in and goes for kill on things, then I can feat and run and just lock him down.
T2. Temptation is too great and thats what he does. Takes all his stuff, but I lose my SG. t2. Stick to the plan, I feat and run everything up. I get up vision.
T3. He pulls out all his tricks and is able to free up most of his jacks and kill the mammoth with shooting and his feat. T3. Easy Breezy. I take out all his jacks but 1, do heavy damage to the conflux and kill many of the servitors.
T4. Not much that he can do with he has left. He does HUGE damage with the force induction spell a few times, probably kills 12 immortals with it and the help of the bot put out from the conflux that gives +2 electical damage. He kills Hakar as well. T4. Its not enough. Vengence gets me into the correct position. Zaal2 moves up and hits him with some spells for good damage. I pull off an easy immortal assassination.

Game 29 Zaal1 -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Hakaar the Destoyer Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Noviate Noviate Noviate Max Immortals with UA Max Immortals with UA Max Immortals with UA
vs Arkadius -targ -Battle Boar -Battle Boar -Road Hog -Road Hog -War Hog -War Hog Kwaak Mire -Wrastler Witch Doctor Witch Doctor Swamp Gobbers Chef
Scenario is a new one for 2019 with circle zones pressed to the edges
T1. He runs up, fairly symmertical, gets up aggrivator and forced evo on one of the Warhogs. T1. Not much I can do. He massively out threats me, but I stay back just enough that if he wants into me, he has to use his feat to do it. I stay outside of crippling grasp range and get up resolve on the SG so he has to work for it get up awakened spirit on the raider. Everyone that can gets +1 soul from soul converter and all immortals go to 13 def, which is HUGE IMO. Being able to push that out is so key.
T2. Yep, he goes for it. Will work for Food is a FAST list, with extra deployment and running for free. He feats and everything lurches forward. They aren't in range of anything, but they are after the feat. The road hogs assault in and because he could get pretty optimal lanes due to his feat, he gets some great sprays, but Def13 really limits what he hits. Between both of them and an ancillary attack, I maybe lose 6 guys and that is with his melee attacks to. His war hogs also get in and do some good damage thanks to overtake from the theme. Thats 100% ok, its kind of my thing. The rest of his beasts position behind clouds from mire and the gobbers. T2. I lost about 14 guys and an ancestral guardian. Not bad. Vengence does some damage to the pigs. I feat, bring back 3 dudes with the SG and kill both road hogs and one war hog. Bad dice leaves the other war hog on just a few boxes.
T3. Arkadius moves over a big and gets off a crippling grasp, gets primal on his battle boar and heals up his pig. In comes two berserking, overtaking battle boars, one with primal. They do a ton of damage, but more importantly, they are attempting to carve a path to Zaal1 for that War Hog. They probably kill 15 immortals in total. I was packed in so tight due to charging his heavies. It was impressive damage. I knew it was coming and Zaal was actually camping 5. So in comes his war hog, the one with forced evo, but he cant get through 5 transfers. Just about kills all my beasts though through transfers. T3. Vengence actually kills both battle boars. Zaal activates and heals up beasts and kills the pig on him with spirit eye. That just leaves him with solos and Mire's wrastler. I bring back 3 more immortals and start to score zones. The Kovaas runs to threaten mire.
T4. Not much he can do with all his stuff dead. He tries for a crippling grasp on the SG and lands it and sends in Mire's wrastler, but I hit the 5 column on the defensive strike and without being able to buy attacks on me now, the wrastler cant take down the SG. T4. I pretty much clear the board.
I am TERRIFIED that next time he will bring a swamp horror and hand out that animus to a battle board with rage. Those will do some massive damage with reach, berserk and overtake.

Finally game 30...goal is to get to 100. I finally got my Zaadesh painted and on the field. Ive heard lots of stories of people playing him at higher levels, but for whatever reason, he just never landed on my radar. Don't know why, he's amazing.
Zaadesh -Marketh -Raider -Shaman -Shaman Supreme Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Hakaar Noviate Noviate Noviate 3x Immortals with UA
Severius2 -Judicator -Blessing of Vengence Warder Vassal Wrack Choir Cinerators with UA Errants with UA Exemplar with UA
Scenario is recon2
T1. Errants to the far right run up very agressive. Cinerators hold down the middle and exemplars go right with Judy. Blessing in the middle. He gets up Arcane Ward on the Exemplars. T1. I run up, I stay 15" from the judicator so I dont get sprayed to death. The plan is that he triggers vengence with spells and errants fire so I can charge into the judicator. I dont mess with resolve since he is swimming in blessed weapons, but I do get up 3 clouds that blocks some LOS to the my guys. I know he has awareness, but that's one more spell that isnt coming into me.
T2. He upkeeps his spell and loads up the judy. It fire into the group on the left that I wasnt expecting it too and kills 2, which is great. Blessing of vengence moves up. Sevvy goes and pull focus from a wrack, casts awareness and rips 2 ashes to ashes into me. I lose about 4 guys. The errants move up fire into immortals and despite needing 8's to kill, drop 6 of them. Cinerators shield wall up and the exemplars run to screen the left side of the Judy. CHoir makes it so I cant shoot his jacks. T2. There are some BIG holes I can exploite. Vengence gets me into good positions. I have a noviate move over and give Hakaar +2 Str. Zaadesh moves up behind a house, feats and camps 3. If my plan fails, this could be rough. Haakar charges blessing of vengence. Defensive Strike does minor damage and Hakaar with +4 str scraps Blessing. This paves the way for immortals to charge in. I get 7 on him and do HUGE damage. On the left side, a raider and shaman kill 2 exemplars which gives me hole for 2 immortals. They charge in and I leave the Judy on just 8 boxes. I also kill 2 more exemplars. I rip into the errants and leave the cinerators alone. Supreme Guardian brings back 3 guys. We both score our flags.
T3. He drops his upkeeps, loads up the judy, heals it with the objective. My feat is really causing him some planning problems. Choir gives Judy +2 damage and it goes to town with sprays and rockets. It kill about 8 immortals, thanks to tough. Sevvy moves up and feats, he should have done this first and his feat kills all 3 noviates and 2 Immortal UA's. Sevvy also ashses to ashes to ashes again, but without the + from blessing, it doesnt do much. Cinerators opt to shield wall in. Hakaar kills the first one in with the feat attack. 2 attack Hakaar and dont kill him. The rest kill an immortal each. Errants can kill immortals out of my feat range and drop 3. We both score flags. 2-2 T3. I am running very low on immortals, I've got like 10 left maybe and no UA's. Venegence does wonders though and I kill pretty much everything I touch, including 1 cinerator which takes 2 more out of shield wall, 4 errants and the last of the exemplars. One raider and one shaman kills one cinerator, which means none are in shield wall and hakaar goes man mode and drop the rest of them. My other shaman shoots his vassal off the flag and I kill the Judy and the exemplars. I dont kill all the errrants, but clear the zone. Supreme Guardian brings back 3 guys. I score my flag, and both zones which puts us at 5-2.
T4. He's got nothing left. Choir, caster, 1 exemplar. He concedes.
If he could have feated 1 turn earlier, I think I would have made a HUGE difference, being able to take out my UA's and noviates was huge.

Game 31, Menoth wants a rematch. I opt for a different caster and reach for Zaal1. I really like his toolbox.
Zaal1 -Shaman -Shaman -Raider Supreme Guardian Hakaar the Destoyer Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Ancestral Guardian Noviate Noviate Noviate Max Immortals with UA Max Immortals with UA Max Immortals with UA
Severius2 -Judicator -Blessing of Vengence Warder Vassal Wrack Choir Cinerators with UA Errants with UA Exemplar with UA
Scenario is recon2
T1. This time I win the die roll and opt to go first. Its a simple plan, run forward! I am set up pretty symetrical and I want to really pressure the judicator since I out threat him by 1", which is just enough to keep him in check. I get up Resolve on 1 unit of Immortals to my deep left. I know he is drowning in blessed weapons, but it will help with ashes to ashes and will draw his node to perticular direction. I keep one unit within 3" of the SG so I can cancel A2A if he targets them and the other unit goes deep to the right and is impractical to get to. I hand out souls to people with Zaal1. T1. He also runs up as agressive as he can. His errants are in range to start shooting and take out a couple of immortals. I dont think he gets his node up far enough to A2A.
T2. Stick to the plan...run up. I can actually engage some of his errants since I get vengence. So I do that and get some solid kills and tie up some guys. I keep my UA's back to keep Sevvy's feat from scalping them out. Everyone goes up in Def and I hand out more souls. I also bring back 3 guys with the SG T2. He opts to try and protect the judy and get aggressive with it. Choir gives it +2 damage, and it gets empowered. It moves up and unloads. He drops 11 guys with it.....It was a good round of shooting. His Cenerators charge in and kill like 3 guys, thats all he can get on. Somehow someway, the errants fail to kill a single immortal. Blessing moves up and Sevvy rips off double A2A I lose a couple of guys. I lost 17 guys in total on that turn. The exemplars run to screen the Judy. We both score our flags. 1-1.
T3. I lost a lot of guys, but hey, thats what my feat is for. Vengence gets me in very good position and I drop 3 cinerators with vengence since they arent in shieldwall. I move up, throw out a nuke on another cinerator, boost and kill him and feat. I make quick work of the rest of the cinerators with my feat. I rip into the exemplars and the SG is in charge range of the Judy. He was banking on my not being able to kill it, but a couple of vengence attacks got the path somewhat clear. Team ranged battle group steps up their game and each get a kill which gives me the charge path for the Supreme Guardian and since I killed all the cinerators, I also went incorporeal after I finished attacking with that unit which let Hakaar get into the Judy. I am able to give both him and the SG +2 str and they take down the Judy, which is really huge. Also, Blessing of vengence is engaged. I score my flag, 2-1. T3. Sevvy moves up, feats and rolls max again killing all 3 UA's and 2 noviates. He rips off more A2A is on 0 camp. His last two exemplar charge in, and mini feat. They kill Hakaar and I drop Kovass, he cleaves and kills that too. The 2nd one kills an immortal and moves into an AG's range and I defensive strike. I miss and he maxes dice and kills that too. Errant, maybe 3 left kill maybe 1 guy. Blessing gets choir buff and empowered and goes after the SG. I defensive strike him for minimal damage and he does like 1/2 to me.
T4. Im in ok shape. I have about 8 immortals left, my battle group, 2 AG's and my SG vs. 2 exemplar, maybe 3 errants, blessing and his support staff. I kill his errants and exemplars with vengence. Zaal1 moves up and nukes Sevvy for decent damage. My Shaman's gun him down. I had 3 immortals that could have charged him too.
I'm having a good run with these guys in my tiny 10 man meta taking me to 30-1.
