Wolf riders and champion MAT 6/7 rather than 7/8.
This is bad for the wolfriders... jumping and MAT 6 is not attractive. Suddenly they need/want backstrikes.

From Hungerford on FB: "Hey all, there was a typo in the update today that will get addressed next week. This typo wasn’t mentioned in the dev notes and not apparent in War Room, so no one could really notice.
The Lord of the Feasts’ melee RNG is going to be 2, not 1.
This will be fixed in the upcoming data update that includes the WMW pre-release models and Mire."

Quick poll for you guys...
Desire to vary lists apart... is Bones off the pairings?

punk Evidently I stand corrected. This was just posted on FB. "William Hungerford just posted Lord of feast will be rng 2. Typo on rng 1" I can't verify if it is accurate or not, but if so I will be VERY happy
***Edit: I just saw the post from Hungerford. It is true, 2 inch melee for LOTF. Very cool!

I’m actually intrigued by the Secret Masters change. We have a few minion friendly Warlocks and they would probably like the fact they now count for free points. Tanith, eKrueger, and Mohsar look like they get the most from these changes.

Quick poll for you guys... Desire to vary lists apart... is Bones off the pairings? Personally, I am going ham on COTW and Dev Host for a bit. I started the faction for warpwolves though, so I have a special affinity for them. I think bones is still insanely good, but exploring our new options sounds appealing to me. I think bones ends up as being both a solid primary and off list choice.

Man, those Devourer's Host buffs look great. I think it's going to be a really competitive and well rounded theme for...

The more i think about it the more i think that the blood shaman is so super mandatory that DH seems unappealing until it is released. Im talking about how it replaces primal as a damage buff for beasts here. Im organizing a steamroller in a month, and i do not think ill bring tharn there. I WILL probably bring the kaya 3 winter argus spam though, and that got a nice extra 4 points to play with. Hutchuck will probably make an appearance in the list i think. Effective pow 19 lights ftw!

Depends on your caster. Baldir1, Wurmwood, And Mohsar can all make the heavies hit hard enough without primal. DI is really good, but with all our other options, and with the bump to the themes hitting power in general, I think she’s not mandatory. Hashmal I have been brainstorming jank for SM since yesterday...that’s a lot to think about. Love that change.

No worries, glad my assumption was correct.

The thing is in a Dev Host list it probably isn't the beasts doing the heavy lifting. Tharn synergize well with those who deliver them and/or provide some sort of damage buff. In my games with Baldur1 I have found their MAT 7 (or 8 with a Whitemane) to be more than sufficient, and their hitting power to be high enough. Female Tharn also get to similar levels (Gang, Prey, Vet Leader) and with any kind of damage buff put dents in things you don't expect them to - Bloodtrackers are the exception...Pow13 weaponmasters are expected to do well.
