I need a lot more rockets. This is what I was afraid of! LOL. THat is why I suggest just 3 to start. It isn't clear to me that Vlad1 is strictly better maximizing rockets as opposed to maxing out cheapish jacks in a mixed use force. Kinda scew vs. Balanced. As pointed out, I think he has a very competitive 1 unit; Gun Carriage, Juggers and flavorings army already in his collection. Maybe not ATC level good but very capable of winning local steamrollers, being competitive in casual play and being relatively easy to get into. You know what you (Soul), me, and others should start working on - a post/blog about how to build up your khador army efficiently and effectively. It really isn't even a ordinal list - more of a "OK, now with your NEXT $50 here are some great efficient ways to augment what you have to provide additional "fun" and options you haven't explored"

You can talk people into making intelligent purchasing decisions, and I can try to talk them out of it.

In all seriousness, it looks like I have decent supplies to start out. And as noted, it's nice to have a decent idea of what to paint or finish painting first. I appreciate the advice. It's nice to know I have a decent collection thanks to my single years that will form a decent backbone when I am able to add more. One day I want that Greylord Cav as I love my Greylords.

. One day I want that Greylord Cav as I love my Greylords. Truth! When Zerkova2/Wolves of Winter gets a rework I will be one serious happy camper. That is clearly a place where there is design space.

I purchased three Bad Santas for a Mk. II list. I swore by them and the tiernon. I played Bad Santa until people stopped reaching for Eiryss or however you spell that name.

I'll have to make some space on my tablet and get War Room 2 again. I deleted it when I wasn't playing and needed space, but the account should still exist, along with my purchases.

Trust me, stick with the database. I have a pdf of khador cards that are fit for reading, though not very much for printing, that I can send you. That + conflict chamber for CID stuff means I don't spend a dime on warmahordes outside of models.
Even that I manage to cheat on, judging from the fact I converted a squad of shocktroopers to two shocktrooper officers, two kovniks, and an armored bad santa.

Too late. Back when Mk. 3 came around, I downloaded War Room 2 and purchased the Khador and Merc cards because reasons. I didn't upgrade everything I had from original War Room because I was a least only partially delusional.
I've done some test list building with Winter Guard Kommand on WR2 and I'm happy to say that I can build a list entirely with models I have. That's a great start. I don't have the Artillery guy, but that's the only piece I'm missing.
Took me a bit to remember they changed point costs again. For a while I was thinking, "75? I can't play a 75 point list that'll take forever!" Oops. Not quite.

So an update:
No, I haven't been able to get to a game yet. Mostly this has been due to time and family concerns. I have recently been going through my various boxes to find minis and have learned things like:
Holy carp, I have more Khador than I realized: when did I get that third unit of metal Iron Fangs again, and do I really need two units of MoW Bombardiers and two Conquests? Dang, life was different when I was single and irresponsible. And when did I buy that second Kodiak? And why did I buy a second metal Berzerker? I HATE METAL BERZERKER!
Anyways, my wife and I are talking, and we're working on ways I can get to a game and she can have time off too. Unfortunately, at three my oldest is still too young to make her sit and watch me play. She's interested, but lacks some "entertain myself" skills when not offered toys and books her age. (Idea for business: Game Store with toddler/children's play area).
Hopefully soon. I'm making discoveries all the time. I have two units of Winter Guard Infantry, one Rifle Corps, two Mortars and two Field Guns. I found my unassembled metal Maraunder and I think that means I have three of those beasties now (oh it makes me happy for some reason). Much more work to do and not a lot of space to do it, but fun for all is guaranteed!

So you took the plunge eh? Hope you're enjoying yourself.
Minus the metal berserkers.

(Idea for business: Game Store with toddler/children's play area). You realise that [Adult hobby location of choice] + children's play area is the business idea that pretty much every parent of small children dreams about?
3 is probably a bit young, but eventually you can introduce her to the magic of film. We found that at about 4, our eldest could be trusted to sit quietly for most of a kids' film. Sadly only most, and that still isn't long enough for a game of Warmachine.
One possible way in to getting games might not be to try and get individual games. If your nearest store hosts tournaments, just go for a one-day tournament. It will be several games in close succession, and you will almost certainly lose, but it will be a rapid education. You'll also meet more people, who might be closer to you.
I don't know about you, but I found that sometimes arranging a day away from the family is easier than a few hours. A few hours can be tripped up by something fairly minor going wrong (and when doesn't something minor go wrong with small children?), or taking longer than it should.
A whole day is sometimes easier to block out in the calendar. A lot depends on whether you have local(ish) support and so on. We've sometimes asked for babysitting from relatives as our birthday/Christmas presents (better than socks!) and/or a day off from parenting as presents from each other. But it's very dependent on your situation and what the children are like.

... Dang straight it is. My wife and I found a coffee shop that has a children's play area. It helps that the owners make a dadgum fine cup of coffee. Their cappuccino is amazing. So what you're saying is, there's a market for this. Yes ... business idea ... forming ...

So here is my list I cobbled together from the app, all stuff I have unboxed and assembled:
Vladimir Tzepesci, The Dark Prince Juggernaut 1 Juggernaut 2, Electric Boogaloo Marauder
Winter Guard Gun Carriage
Kovnik Josef Grigorovich Winter Guard Infantry - Winter Guard Infantry Office & Standard - Winter Guard Rocketeer 1 - Winter Guard Rocketeer 2 - Winter Guard Rocketeer 3, Tokyo Drift Widowmaker Scouts 1 Winter Guard Mortar Crew 2 Winter Guard Mortar Crew 2 Furious Winter Guard Field Gun Crew Winter Guard Rifle Corps
Looks doable? Needs tweaks? Also, are there other casters I could work this list with?
