I got something spicy for you guys.
Want to play a list with 10-30 pow 15 shots (at rat 7) and two boosted pow 18 shots, as well as multiple ranged ways to knock people down with reroll redundancy, that all reroll as well? You can reroll your reroll your rerolls!
And has like 4 shield guards in it? And can tear it up in melee?
AND has a stealth incorporeal model to hold a far flag while applying the range heat?
Well come on down to Crazy Calandra's!
At Crazy Calandra's if you're not satisfied the first time, WE'LL REROLL IT UNTIL YOU ARE!

Our First Battle Report
Calandra vs Sorscha
Scenario Incursion (3 flags in line)
Sorscha List Decimator Juggernaut Marauder
Malakov w/ Decimator Winterguard Rifle Team x2 w/ 3 Rockets Full Winterguard + UA Kovnik Joe Field Guns x2 List plan was use freeze to shoot a heavy with 6 rockets and 4 boosted 15s from Decimator.
Field is pretty open with a hill on Calandra Side, a wall on Sorscha side. Calandra sets up with Trolls in middle, Sluggers on both sides. Sorscha is set up with Jacks in middle, Sorscha + 2 WG units on one side, other Rifle Team on far other side.
Sorscha goes first, runs forward. Calandra runs forward, puts Sluggers far enough back Sorscha would have to tempest out into the open to get them, puts Bombers and 3 Warders forward. Bomber throws bombs at one Decimator, good damage and almost gets cortex. The Bomber positions so that it is exactly 1" out of range of other Decimator to walk and shoot. This is a problem with Decimators. The other Trolls move forward, the Bouncer gets bullet dodger and charges to behind the wall and puts up Earth's Blessing. Calandra is on a hill with Starcrossed and E.B., catching most of the Khador Army except for a couple rockets.
Sorscha walks forward and feats on Bomber and Wardens. The logic was if she can kill the Bomber, just the sluggers and Mauler will have trouble killing the 4 heavies, especially with their shooting. The Decimator activates and shoots a frozen Bomber. First shot hits for 10, second shot rolls 8. Or should I say, rolls 1, 1, and 6, so misses. Mmmmmm. Of course the rockets come up short along with the CRA, and one Warden ends up dead (from the Decimator who coudn't make it to the Bomber) and the Bomber is at 8 health but has his spirit blown. On the far left the riflemen and Sluggers exchange fire. The Sluggers are behind a building so the 9 Riflemen only end up killing two.
Calandra's Turn The Bombers and 2 Wardens are frozen, but under feat the Sluggers blow out Malakov's Decimator Cortex and shoot up a bunch of Winterguard. On the left side of the table the Sluggers tank their shot numbers, but between them and the Thumper, 5 Winterguard are left out of 9 and the Field Gun. The Bomber hops over the wall and shows off his True Grit and spanks the Juggernaut playfully on the butt but basically gets no where. More to follow on that. The Gremlin Swam runs to contest the Flag in the middle of a giant pile of Winterguard and gives the middle finger to the entire army.
Sorscha has about 24 Winterguard left and a tasty Bomber to murder as well as a Bouncer. The Mauler has not yet gotten into charge range of anything specific. So she gives the Juggernaut 3 Focus and the Decimator 2, but Malakov's Decimator is smoking and can't get any. Still it can aim at the Bomber and gets ready to put that ugly SOB in the dirt. Decimator goes, misses the first aimed shot, snake eyes the second. Thanks Star Crossed. The Rockets go, one misses, one gets Star Crossed, one bangs the bomber on the nose. The Riflemen pepper him and only make him angrier. The Winterguard Infantry move forward and shoot some slugs into Sluggers and the Bomber, who sucks them up with the 2 remaining Warden shield guards. When 6 is needed to hit, Star Crossed plays hell and more miss then they should When everything is done the Bomber is on 3 life. Due to trying to finish off the Bomber, less Sluggers die then they should and about 6 are left.
Its ok though. The Decimator is going to walk forward 4, and shoot that dumb Bomber down. But first the Juggernaut has to kill the Bouncer who has boldly run far forward. Danger Zone. So of course, thanks to Star Crossed, a boosted Mat 7 whiffs Def 14 and the Bouncer dances out of the way into melee with the Decimator, also blocking its movement enough it can't walk 4 and shoot. *Sad Trombone*. So the Decimator uses its focus to cut the Bouncer in half, and by that, he gives it a gentle shoulder message with his 2 focus. Turns out Armor 21 is pretty good vs Pow 17.
So end of the Round and the Bomber is still alive, a lot of Sluggers are alive, Sorscha is on a hill with Windwalk + Fog of War but things are going to get rough.
First the Mauler builds a nest to attract a mate. The Marauder seeing the shiny bits and attractive plumage begins the dance of life. One quick Befuddle from Calandra to bring the two together, and the Marauder presents her bright red behind to the Mauler, then leaves the Battlefield to take the Mauler's offering to build a nest. The Bouncer with Rage beats on the Decimator and blows its cortex. He has a little help from a Thumper who is able to hit because of aims and rerolls. Now only a Juggernaut is left on the battlefield with 2 Decimators with no cortex. The Sluggers all stay still and Aim and when the bullets are done there are about 10 Winterguard left of the origional 32. Calandra begins to take flags and the stupid Gremlin Swarm is still on the flag totally owned by the Winterguard. The reason Sorscha hasn't dealt with them is that there is a Bomber, Calandra, and a Mauler in easy countercharge range.
On Sorscha's turn she is desperate. She's down to just a Field gun, Joe, Malakov, about 10 Winterguard. She charges to clear a flag and kills the Bomber and the Gremlin Swarm, then Wind Walks back. Her Juggernaut walks over and kills the Mauler with some tasty rolls, but the Bouncer is still alive and contesting the middle flag. On the left side the Sluggers are camping the flag. Sorscha checks that she's only defense 20 now on the hill and Calandra is within charge range.
Calandra is within charge range of a trivially easy to hit target, just def 20. She has 3 rerolls on both of her boosted knockdowns. She charges. Boosted 12 to hit, hits without any rerolls. Puts a big chunk of damage into Sorscha with both her damage spells. The Sluggers walk up and take Sorscha down, in fact the first Slugger alone easily kills her from 10 life. Sorscha could have Sac Pawned but too many Winterguard are dead and she forgot to run enough backwards after the Sluggers cleared out the Riflemen.

Nicely done write up. Very good to see the Sluggers getting some work done... and without snipe?! That's seriously a shock. Maybe I need to get them back on the table.
Good game!

What is giving you two boosted Pow 18 shots? Is it the Bomber, because in that case you mean Pow 16.

You're 2 pow high on on your gunshots, unless you're just counting her feat as basically making them +2 POW?

Yeah I think the OP is counting her feat as a +2.

Thats not really true... Calandras feat makes the average of 2 dice 8.333, so that is +1.333. On 3 dice that would be +2 though.

I had the opportunity to use Calandra for the first time this past weekend and it was a ton of fun, I came up just short on an assassination, needed to roll 10 on three dice and got 9, so missed the assassination by 1 HP against the harbinger of menoth.
My list was mostly about trying out new toys, so I didn't expect to do too well and it performed a lot better than I expected with re-rolls and star crossed.
Calandra Mauler Swamp Troll Axer Rorsh and Brine Max scattergunners and Command Attachment Max Champions and Scaldi Champion Hero Thumper Janissa
Overall it was pretty grindy, the mauler ate the avatar of Menoth, his battle engine removed my champions very trivally. My scattergunners held up one flank by just being a ton of medium based tough bodies and nickel and dimed a heavy while really removing anything else that got close. Love Clear! It feels like I am cheating. Janissa armor pierced the arms off a dervish in one hit. The thumper had about a 50% hit rate...against heavy warjacks. The swamp troll died to fire after eating some exemplar. And the axer face tanked his entire army.
Rorsch and Brine were a ton of fun, though I misplayed them and rolled terribly on Brine's charge. With some practice, these guys will be dangerous.

Between Dhunia Knot and Fate-Blessed, I don't think the Thumpers missed anything in our game. They did a great job slamming Winter Guard and knocking down Jacks, but the list really needed a screen. Thumpers were the easiest models to cut.
I think I'd be more interested in double Sluggers with Grim2 or Horgle 2 for shooting down Khadoran jacks, but they would've done decent damage to anything under ARM 20.
