It looks like themes and scenarios are guiding players to build more "combined arms" lists than perhaps we saw before. I think that's a good thing, especially when trying to win on scenario. There's something to be said for a hard skew list though as it can often ask a challenging question of your opponent. (Although in tournament games I assume this is simply solved by bringing two lists...) In this environment is anyone still pushing a skew heavily in their list?
What is our ARM skew? DEF skew? Box skew? Do we have potential for a regen skew? Or a re-roll skew?
I guess ARM is stone and all the beasts in PoD. But then you can't add Warders.
DEF skew would be DEF 13+ and Calandra with Starcrossed. So that's SotN or KC I suppose.
Box skew is easy. All the Champs, Warders and Toughaloes you can fit in BoH. Add Madrak.
Regen I think is PoD again with Doomy and the beasts.
Re-roll is something that's always been rolling around in my mind. Calandra, Braylen, Bushwhackers, Dhunian Knot for Puppet Master. Do we have other dice affecting abilities? Is it possible to build a list solely around this mechanic yet?
Please feel free to show off any skewed lists you find are working.

I do not think themes really changes this. Skews are still a thing, but perhaps not the norm. if you want to skew ARM/Boxes, all factions have a beast/warjack theme perfect for it. If you want to skew with lots of dudes, all the "other" themes allow you to play only a minimal BG, and bring 75 points of infantry. For the "re-roll skew" that feels like it has an incredibly high opportunity cost. You could bring Eilish in theme, but if you want both Bushwhackers and DK, that DK will cost you roughly 20 points due to the loss of free stuff. You are probably just fine going with a normal KC list with eilish for all your re-rolling needs

I don't own sufficient redundant light warbeasts to really field a warbeast-boxes ARM skew, but I could see it with X Bashers/Mauler or Rok. Perhaps I should try it out using Runeshapers as Bashers . Skew towards ranged assassination is possible for at least 4 of our warlocks: Calandra, Grim1, Grim2, Grissel1. Add double Bomber and SSE (for Stealth/ Incorporeal elimination) and fill for prevention of your own warlock's demise. Melee assassination skew, Glacier King Madrak1 Guided/Jackhammer is an example, though it may have a bit more combined arms approach depending on build. I tend to prefer/build for combined arms attrition/offense with a sprinkle of scenario contestants whenever possible. In venue I play against repeat fieldings of these opposing spam: Slayer/Carapace/G3, Griffon/Vyros2, Karchev/jacks (weaker than before...), Magnus2/Nomads, Vlad/WG rockets, Madrak1/Champs (not me! ), Satyxis en masse. (FA2 units aren't really spam/skew are they? Just feels a little like it due to point cost).

I think this shows how biased our perceptions are. Players in most other factions consider a list built around two units with def 16 and 25 boxes to be a skew.
