Where does it say gargantuans are immune to grievous wounds? Under the Gargantuan rule "Massive". Battle Engines are the same. "A gargantuan cannot be pushed, knocked down, or made stationary. A gargantuan cannot be moved by a slam or throw." That's all that Massive says. Nothing about grievous wounds.

Check the Core Rules errata, specifically. Immunity to Grievous Wounds was added to the Massive rule.

The core prime and primal documents were also updated, if you download them again.

The core prime and primal documents were also updated, if you download them again. Annoying that it doesn't do this automatically. Now I can see the rule, yes, that's very handy with Abby1. I'd been playing an Archangel with Abby1 already but this is a nice bonus.

Wild Agression - on Terpah is really neat I've found. Abby1 AA Carnivian (Refuge) Proteus (Playing God) Teraph (Wild Agression) Another Terpah Naga Hellion Forsaken x2 Shepherds x2 Spell Martr x2 Refuging Carnivians are my fav to be honest. Its totally bonkers. Walk5, Spray, then walk wherever it likes with Spiny growth on it. I'm not sure about the second Terpah. The first one is really good because: Counter Blast Wild Agression kills a warrior in Melee, it does loose digin when it does the melee attack usually though , and threatens a large area after its AD.

I would drop the second teraph for ice witches and then look to include: mist speaker, Maximus, gremlin swarm, feralgeist, thrulg, maybe gobbers.

Tried this list out for the first time last night a little skeptical on whether the BB was worth it in this list.
Legion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Oracles of Annihilation
(Absylonia 1) Absylonia, Terror of Everblight [+31] - Angelius [17] - Blightbringer [32] - Proteus [19] - Seraph [14] Blighted Nyss Shepherd [1] Blighted Nyss Shepherd [1] Blighted Nyss Shepherd [1] Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellion [0(6)] Spell Martyr [1] Spell Martyr [1] The Forsaken [4] Blighted Nyss Hex Hunters (max) [15] - Bayal, Hound of Everblight [0(6)]
I'm really happy with the way the list works. It's a very good all around list and has a bit more scenario presence than my previous list which had an AA and a second Angelius swapped in. The BB is actually really great with her I think for the following reasons.
-Playing God: speeds him up, gives him flight which is very nice for getting around the board with a huge base and can also benefit from the helion for free charges. Pow 21 too will kill lots of things -Blighted Breath does a lot for the HH but also makes Abby very scary herself, hitting at Pow 17 with refuge to get back to safety. She can get a lot of work done on her own.
Hex Hunters were solid and the interaction with Blightburst and shadowbind can be very strong when applied in the right circumstance.
I'll be playing the list more to test it out and plan on taking it to the next SR in a week or so.

jediguru you made me tempted to try Abby1 with Blightbringer Hex hunters are nice with blightburst but I was put off by lack of stealth with her. Blightbringer can change this Althought he has weaker threat range and ranged presenece than Archangel. I think I will try: Abby1, oracles: Proteus, Seraph, Neraph, Angelius, Blighbtbringer min hexes with Bayal Forsaken, S&H, 2x shepherd, spell martyr

As for skin and moans, shoot them off the board with ravagores. The trick here is to not give your grymkin corpses before you do the majority of the damage. against a competent grymkin player this is almost impossible. I know I typically hit the table with 3-4 crabbits, and a vanguard unit of dread rots that force some corpses out early. The Proteus advice is pretty solid though - grievous wounds shuts down the "sacrifice" arcana which is a go-to vs strong ranged lists. The only problem is that legion heavies are so much more expensive than anything in grymkin, and you're going to be sacrificing proteus to shut down healing on a 15-point skin-'n-moans. My best advice would be to avoid playing your shooting-heavy list into Grymkin, rather pair with something melee-focused instead. Between crabbits and the sacrifice arcana it's an uphill battle to get value out of shooting into grymkin, even though Legion ignores many of the other defences available (clouds, fog of war, shroud Arcana). It sounds like great advice to avoid giving the grymkin player corpses, but it's really difficult to ignore the suicidal weaponmasters that are rushing you front-and-centre. -und_ed

I've been running a Blightbringer with Abby2 for a while now. It's a decent source of walking concealment since Abby doesn't really bring much defensive tech.
For Abby2 specifically it can make use of Return Fire as the blight AoE last for a round. Then under Alpha hunter He basically becomes a very fat Typhon. Which is better now that he got +1 speed and mat. So SPD 8 Mat 8 Pow 18 or Pow 20 on feat. Then his str/arm aura just makes Abby 2 disgusting. Pow 18 claws and Pow 16 tail with energy siphon. Arm 20 with spiny growth, 22 with Bracer (but to me that's a last resort against an assassination attempt). It's just really pretty nice.
Also, I'm with Lanz. Had no idea I could refuge non-battlegroup models. Need to read more carefully.
