"It's less points since it's 14 free points in Oracles vs 6 free points in PT, but I don't consider that a big loss. I think people focus too much on the cost of the models rather than the value of the models. A sorceress is a nice convenience, but I don't find her essential." This times 1000! So tired of seeing players constantly shoehorning themselves into lists just to get the most "free" points. Just a nod to this, I think CotD at first release fell to that fallacy so hard. People wanted 4 free solos but then argued you couldn't fit in any infantry and were stuck with really subpar beasts. People have started to dial back that tendency quite a lot finally. Oracles still facilitates the idea a bit seeing as how Thrones count to bonus points. But there's not enough options outside of beasts to really make anything diverse. Primal Terrors, as the above lists starts the ball rolling, could just be used as a generic beast theme. I think the +2" deployment is a stronger benefit than the free turn 1 upkeep. But the PT solos are far less utilitarian than those in Oracles. As it stands right now not knowing the state of the final releases. (So I'm not counting on any of the new models yet)

People who are willing to go to min Hex Hunters just so they can get a "free" sorceress are, in my opinion, kidding themselves.
