Hello all, I will be going over to a friends house this weekend to continue to learn the game. I have done two smaller battlegroup box games and this will be my first game playing with more units. We are doing 25pts and this is the list I came up with. Any feedback is welcomed.
Ragnor Dire Troll Mauler Troll Axer Troll Bouncer Trollkin Fennblades max with leader Fell Caller Hero
This comes out to 24pts
The only units I have built not included is the troll impaler. My friend on sunday is also giving me pyg bushwhackers, kriel warriors, Doom1 and a trollkin sorcerer to help me grow my army. These are all unbuilt. I also purchased mulg and krielstone with UA just waiting for them to come in still though.

That looks great for a learning game and should be functional regardless. Mauler is one of the hardest hitting beasts for its cost and you cant go wrong with it + an axer. Bouncer is a great body guard. Fennblades are great for jamming, better with their UA I think, is that what you meant be the leader? Or is that the Kithkar? Fell Caller Hero is a great toolbox and good support. All these elements will give you a good Troll example for how that type of model plays and how it fits into the faction. Inclusion of the Kriel stone at a higher points level will give you another layer of buffs another key unit for the faction.

As I am still learning the lingo when I say leader i mean the 9 models and leader. That is how its worded on the warroom 2 app. Im guessing the UA would be the officer and drummer, which I do not have.

UA (unit attachment) is the old word, from the previous edition. Nowadays it should be "CA" (Command Attachment) You can use "conflict chamber" to build lists at your computer and they can be easily copied on to the forums. That makes it very clear what you mean when you post a list conflictchamber.com/Welcome to the game!

That's a great starter list, full of lots of pieces you'll use again later (and again, and again, and...)
You won't get QUITE as much use out of the Bouncer in that list as you will later- his animus is absolutely game-saving with most Warlocks, but Ragnor doesn't need it QUITE as much, because he's immune to knockdown, but the Bouncer is an incredible piece and Ragnor can make it hit really hard. The fact that it will be even better with most of your other warlocks later on is just icing on the cake. =)

conflictchamber.com/#b70pfL9D0h0j6G0bTrollbloods Army - 24 / 25 points (Ragnor 1) Ragnor Skysplitter, The Runemaster [+30] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Troll Axer [10] - Troll Bouncer [9] Fell Caller Hero [5] Trollkin Fennblades (max) [15] I think I did this right on the website. Thank you all for the feedback. Also since Ragnor does not get as much out of the bouncer would the impaler be better option? From what I have read it seems the impaler is situational at best. EDIT: realize not enough points to take the impaler nevermind haha.

An impaler would give a ranged presence (albeit a short one) but with reach and a strength boost, is very respectable, and critical smiting stuff around is always fun. Some people don't like them, but I always get a lot of work out of my impaler. That said, you don't need it, and with max fen blades running around, their threat will outpace his.

Ragnor can get a lot of work out of the Bouncer. If you stack Rage and Pulverizer it can reach POW17 in melee. With a Krielstone + UA it gets to POW18.
