snarlyyow thanks! Agreed our light jacksare fantastic, especially defensive wise, I find it hilarious our charger chassis has one more box than an Angelius So Cygnar has this jack situation where the lights are sort of oppressively great and the heavies are perfectly fine. You add in that three factions now can kill an Arcane Shielded colossal (Skorne, Minions, and Grymkin) with a single heavy and Cygnar is sort of in a weird place battlegroup-wise. Our light jacks are the source of much frustration at the expense of heavies that can't be reliably spammed (Outside maybe the Nemos). This sort of keeps Cygnar's ability to crack armor reliably in check. PoM can easily join the "one round the arcane shielded colossal" crew depending on caster, as long as its in Faithful Masses for the hand of vengeance theme benefit. That + Battle + one dispel / blessed (and PoM has plenty of this, or even worse, Scourge of heresy combining purgation with blessed lol)

Or the High Reclaimer with double Hand of Fate on Knights Exemplar.
The strengths of Cygnar are shooting/assassination and active control.

snarlyyow thanks! Hammersmiths and Ironclads are fine but we don't have a lot of speed buffs in-faction like Khador or Legion does to make a Battlegroup of 12 point heavies seem excessive. And I think that's what separates our perfectly acceptable heavies with other factions. You know, if we had the Charger as it is, and if every other caster in-faction had Mobility or Escort or Energizer or a feat that doubled speed I'd agree that the Charger is OP. It's prolly not okay to have a faction with lights like that coupled with Battlegroup heavies that can threaten 11" or 12" turn after turn I mean... isn't that sort of what kraye does?

I mean... isn't that sort of what kraye does? But Kraye doesn't crack armour very well due to a lack of damage buffs and Cygnar heavies in general being pretty light hitters.

Yeah that's pushing it. Would work for the counter punch though.

Falk is probably more reliable than ragman in a fast army like kraye's.

Yeah that's pushing it. Would work for the counter punch though. That's mostly how i use him if there's too much armor on the table.

Falk has a 14 inch threat and most of our jacks under Kraye have a 12 to 15 inch threat range. Saying you cannot protect him or place him properly on approach then you have bigger issues at some of the basics of this game. The issue is knowing when to go for +2 damage buff for chances if he doesn't kill something when he sprays to trigger Run n Gun he will die on counter strike.

Meh, requires two models activations and making an attack roll, I prefer the Ragman gold standard
