If 14 days of feedback and testing indicate that it actually needs more, then your knee jerked in the wrong direction... That's what the CID is for. But we'll see. So why don't you test my theoretical guy eh? Why not just give him 200 damage boxes? Can't comment until you test. 14 days. Chop chop. Why is my example rediculous? You didn't test it for 14 days. Get at it. Exact same example. Really nailed it. Base armor 25 and 200 damage boxes is equivalent to Skarre3. I have never said that people ought not to theorize and comment. Thats your misinterpretation. I AM saying that on day 1, you should not pee your pants. I understand that hyperbole is your first and primary language, so maybe we are just having language translation issues...

It's up, boys and girls. What you've all been waiting for: Warwitch Deneghra: Deneghra 1 is a very powerful Warcaster. With the ability to play incredibly strong assassination, attrition, and control styles she is one of the most versatile and powerful Warcasters in the game. We have gone through many different options to tone her down and we felt that her control and assassination game is the best place to shave a little of her power level off. Allowing enemy models to Run, Charge, and make Special Attacks and Actions should reduce the total shut-down some players felt after her feat turn. To hamper her assassination potential, we removed Scourge and replaced it with Black Talons, a new spell. AOE 3” Critical Shadowbind is certainly less powerful than an AOE attack that knocked down anything hit, but can still lead to some powerful plays. We hope that these changes can bring Deneghra 1 in line with the rest of the game. Thank you for posting this .pdf attachment, I appreciate it.

Now, with that out of the way, macdaddy some counter-points: 1.) Raiders iirc were def 13, which is fairly significant 2.) Pretty sure their Bombs are pow 14 also, and they have access to oil 3.) AD and Pathfinder are HUUUUUGE benefits for Raiders 1) yes def 13 is pretty good but arm 14 compared to 16 and unyielding. (krielstone sure but that requires them to clump up making AD and pathfinder less useful) edit:also ashen veil means technically the marauders are def 14 at range or in melee against living models. 2) Nope just pow 12. 3) Pathfinder yes... AD is good. But in order for them to do work you need to have them stay with the rest of the troll brick. Rat 5 and mat 6 means they at least need a fell caller buff to consistently remove standard infantry. AD in trolls is one of those things that is more of a "trolls can finally play upfield" more than a "I am in yo face dawg" or "I am on this flank way up field dawg" Being relegated to the krielstone and FF buffs to do work is...kind of counterproductive. In light of this. "not raiders" are in a faction that lets them spread out and still take advantage of the plethora of "fixers" thanks to the nature of cryx arc nodes and debuffs. I look at marauders and go...woah that unit can mulch infantry and even crack heavier targets... I look at Raiders and go "that's a cute jamming unit" If they had kept cont fire on the bombs I would much happier. The hauler with oil is a good point. But you are also taking a 19 point battle engine just to bring the raiders up to par. Marauders seem pretty self sufficient...and thats in the faction of turd polishers.

I don't see how this cid upgrades the Cryx lists that are currently dominating. It's more of a sidegrade. I'd rather play against anything that's in this cid rather than current Denny 1/Coven fleet.

My only question is: Why nerf Denny1, but let Coven untouched?

Oh boy. Good thing this is still going through CiD. Let's hope for some impartial test game reports. The way some people have been talking I fully expect them to tank Cryx in the CID

And the way CID has been going in the past I expect the opposite. Unless we somehow get less lobbying than in the past cycles.

The way some people have been talking I fully expect them to tank Cryx in the CID Did you even see the dark host CiD.... People will submit battle reports, people will submit feedback forms...and things may or may not change. Cryx seems to be PP's favorite baby right now. I would not expect to see anything come out of this CiD "tanked"
