Obligatory, "you can't compare between factions comment."
We'll all see where this shakes out on release, but as a start it does seem to be significantly stronger than past CiDs.

For Firetruck sake... How about you test and give feedback? Well what if they released just a Solo with Baseline Armor 25, Defense 25 with Rat and Mat 9, speed 8, Pow 19 weaponmasteraxe with magic weapon, no other things on the card, cost 3 points FA/8 Until I test it Im not allowed to even comment that it looks out of hand?

"not allowed to even comment"...
Lol...
I Notice your quote skipped end of my post about this being DAY 1 of 14 and you already wet yourself...
As far as your ridiculous example goes, anyone without a predisposition to kneejerk whining would know that it had ZERO chance of getting through CID...
But you can "comment" away, man... I can move on.

Oh boy. Good thing this is still going through CiD. Let's hope for some impartial test game reports.

I know every faction is getting the CiD treatment and a greater expansion of their models. But yes, it does seem as though PP give Cryx too much. But then again, maybe they are still concerned about Cryx not being good enough as per the early days of mkiii.

But then again, maybe they are still concerned about Cryx not being good enough as per the early days of mkiii. Lately I’ve been wondering if Cryx at the beginning of Mk.III really was as bad as people said it was. I mean, Denny1 and Coven were still there, a lot ingredients of GF were there pre-theme, and most of the people calling for nerfs are focusing on the casters, which hasn’t changed since the start of the game. I wonder if maybe Cryx wasn’t that bad and people just didn’t notice that Cryx was still good until Tim Banky started winning everything.

I don't know why, but I think the old days of Cryx and 30 banes caused the tactical hive mind of Cryx to turn to jelly. Body and Soul was around for ages before people actually twigged that it was really good. I wouldn't be surprised if people were too upset and disheartened to be thinking about new strategies and instead spent their time trying to fix what was broken instead of looking for new toys to play with.

Now, with that out of the way, macdaddy some counter-points: 1.) Raiders iirc were def 13, which is fairly significant 2.) Pretty sure their Bombs are pow 14 also, and they have access to oil 3.) AD and Pathfinder are HUUUUUGE benefits for Raiders

Well some parts were actually overnerfed, but the general sentiment at the time was obviously an exaggeration.

Well if you catch your tears in a rag or jar, you can probably sell them to local cryx players for extra beer money, you know to help you feel better. To be fair rowdy makes a good point...Cryx seems to be the poster child of the game right now. hey are getting lots of shiny new things and their new releases are very very powerful. Even compared to other CiD's aka minions and trollbloods.... Look at the "not northkin raiders" in this cid...things they have over northkin raiders. gain the thrown benefit. ashen veil, unyielding, CRA, and chain weapon on the melee weapon and +1 pow Raiders initially had, cont fire on the bombs which was changed to..crit fire..had quick work, and immunity cold, and AD. All for the same cost. Literally basically the same exact unit...just...better. Compare Skarre 3 to, Kolgrimma and Barny 2...and the case gets stronger.... Now having said that it is the first day and I plan on play testing and submitting a boatload of feedback even if it is all proxied models. But its hard to say there does not seem to be a hint of extra love for cryx at the moment. Sadly, this is nothing new for Trolls. The best Trollblood releases are rarely in faction. I don't know why PP seems to have such a hardon for Cryx, but it's getting pretty discouraging.

I Notice your quote skipped end of my post about this being DAY 1 of 14 and you already wet yourself... Which means it has just as much a chance of getting MORE powerful as less powerful. If nobody brings it up, then I'm sure it will squeak by no problem. My thing is that if the idea is to push for 2 miles and then retreat 1 for balancing, the upper ceiling for cryx is 10 miles, and the pushback as a result has to be for 9 miles. Most likely by the end of it Cryx still gets about 5 miles out of this. This is ridiculous.

If 14 days of feedback and testing indicate that it actually needs more, then your knee jerked in the wrong direction... That's what the CID is for.
But if you honestly believe something powerful is "just as likely" to become more powerful as less, then CID is not for you. You need to zone it out and pretend like it is not there as you have absolutely NO faith in the community or process whatsoever.
To you, CID is literally a coin toss that has equal chances in either direction. So why involve yourself when you think so little of it?

So why don't you test my theoretical guy eh? Why not just give him 200 damage boxes? Can't comment until you test. 14 days. Chop chop. Why is my example rediculous? You didn't test it for 14 days. Get at it.

I saw the same thing at my local store. The ex-Press Ganger was (is?) a Cryx player that was all sort of angry that he could no longer do his old tricks after the first Cryx CID. He was more pissed about Banelord Tartarus loosing Thresher (never mind that he gained Veteran Leader) than being happy about other Cryxian buffs. I'm hoping that me telling him about Themepocalypse re-ignited his interest. Those that haven't figured out that everybody lost and everybody gained in the transition to Mk3 need to do so or they are going to loose out. The Cryx players lost their old bag of tricks that gave them easy victories. The mentally flexible Cryx players have realized that their path to easy victory is different, and, well, maybe no that easy.
