It's up, boys and girls. What you've all been waiting for: Warwitch Deneghra: Deneghra 1 is a very powerful Warcaster. With the ability to play incredibly strong assassination, attrition, and control styles she is one of the most versatile and powerful Warcasters in the game. We have gone through many different options to tone her down and we felt that her control and assassination game is the best place to shave a little of her power level off. Allowing enemy models to Run, Charge, and make Special Attacks and Actions should reduce the total shut-down some players felt after her feat turn. To hamper her assassination potential, we removed Scourge and replaced it with Black Talons, a new spell. AOE 3” Critical Shadowbind is certainly less powerful than an AOE attack that knocked down anything hit, but can still lead to some powerful plays. We hope that these changes can bring Deneghra 1 in line with the rest of the game.

Huh, I was about ready to write up warwitch Deneghra, so I guess I had best hold off as most of my game play is around scourge, haha.

Holy wowsers! Skarre 3 is most likely not making it through CID like that. I would say she is pretty OP with all of that ranged fire power and the ability to just boost all ranged attacks.
So we have admonition...on a huge base battle engine speed 7 caster. 3 Initial ranged attacks. 2-4 initial melee attacks, one of which auto knocks things down.
She flys and bulldozes.
She puts out grunts that have been previously killed every round within 10" of her.
Her feat is balanced I think.
Dash and Draconic Blessing...hahaha. No attack spell and no spell that can be cast by a spell slave...but really who cares. That's awesome.

Yes, ARM 19 + Decel + 28 wounds plus sucker...or Madelyn Corbeau and just be immune to all other warrior models.

Huh...not as horrible as I expected. Skarre 3 needs some serious testing and GW on the Stayxis may need to go.
Really surprised and disappointed coven is not in this CiD may try to suggest they get added.
A little irked at the "evil northkin raiders" Basically the better version of northkin raiders right now...
At least denny got a ok nerf. Well see how much it actually changes the meta in a few months. I expect lots of coven if they don't get changed.

Been mostly seeing GF and DH from my local Cryx. Why is Dispel scary on Satyxis? Its been a way to reduce feedback by raising jack Armor. Like...Just the toys they get. Their Baseline mechanics, Repair D3+1, Grant Curse to a jack, and are weaponmasters against Jacks, with HP boxes, and have speed 6 and cost 7 points. And I thought the goddam Trencher engineers where pretty good. I was excited for MOW Bombardiers to get +2 Range. But the Smog Belchers are Cheaper, more defensive, faster, better stat layout, Magic, and have debuffs against living enemy models. Also tough. I thought warcaster Sacrificial Pawn was a game changer as a theme benefit, Cryx gains SUCKER as a Firetrucking caster attachment! Are you KIDDING me?

The hag already had dispel on her knife.
And they always shoot high with the first shot on the toys, I see a lot of that being toned down.
I do like the change to Deneghra 1's feat, I thought taking away scourge was probably unnecessary, but it does reduce her assassination game significantly and she can still debuff like a madwoman.
Sucker will be really annoying in something like ghost fleet with all the recycling pirates, or even infernal machines and a swarm of mechanithralls.
I don't know why black ogrun get a curse, that doesn't fit with me thematically.
I am okay with the grevious wounds on the satyxis blood witches because the hag lost entropic force. Now they actually have to hit to have it, instead of just being near you. It was actually a nerf.

And they always shoot high with the first shot on the toys, I see a lot of that being toned down. I get that, but it feels like for other factions they shoot for the stars, and then reach the moon. Cryx shoots for the edge of the galaxy and reaches alpha centari.

To be fair rowdy makes a good point...Cryx seems to be the poster child of the game right now. hey are getting lots of shiny new things and their new releases are very very powerful. Even compared to other CiD's aka minions and trollbloods.... Look at the "not northkin raiders" in this cid...things they have over northkin raiders. gain the thrown benefit. ashen veil, unyielding, CRA, and chain weapon on the melee weapon and +1 pow Raiders initially had, cont fire on the bombs which was changed to..crit fire..had quick work, and immunity cold, and AD. All for the same cost. Literally basically the same exact unit...just...better. Compare Skarre 3 to, Kolgrimma and Barny 2...and the case gets stronger.... Now having said that it is the first day and I plan on play testing and submitting a boatload of feedback even if it is all proxied models. But its hard to say there does not seem to be a hint of extra love for cryx at the moment.
