The WTC winners featured a X2 list spamming Archidons, paired with Fatty WoD. I was curious to see where the birds were dropped in that competition.
Turns out to be nowhwere. Rasheth hit the table each time, and won each time as well. I wonder if X2 was there specifically to counter a very specific hole in the team build-out. If so, I'm curious to know what. If memory serves, the Skorne player(Dominik de Cassan) was paired against Cryx multiple times. If anyone has insight as to why the Archidon spam was in the pairing, I'd be interested to hear it.

X2 gives +2 spd, Archidons are the fastest beasts we got off the flat, plus are long leashed. With a spam of Archidons, turn 1 you can spread them around the board. turn 2 you feat and assassinate their caster. When I think of a list with that combination, i think of Cygnar lightning lists. Cygnar lightning lists would butcher the hell out of a WoD gun spam. However, I'm not sure any Cygnar would dare to run a list dependent on lightning damage and e-leaps into a list composing of mostly archidons and a high armor, tough caster.

I don't think the plan with that list is Assassination. It can do a lot for Scenario and even Attrition, provided you get a good enough alpha.

I believe the winning WTC German teams Skorne player had a X2 archidon spam list in his pairing.. it never saw the light of day his Rasheth (WoD) ran out winner everytime... I guess it was designed to ward off specific matchups?
