Love these articles, great job! In the grim list, have you experimented with swapping the bushwackers out for sluggers? Those guys are absolutely brutal with grim2.

I think grim2 could play into gf. You have the assassination thread with mage sight. Perhaps testing grim2 out of theme with sacral vault might be a good start.

Truth is I need to buy a unit Ha, fair enough! Although you should probably buy 2 units, which costs the same as full bushwhackers plus ua. It is a lot of money to spend on some terrible looking models though!

If the current merc/minion cid rules for solos/units/BEs go through we'll be able to bring a 2pt bellows crew along in POD lists. :-D

Funny you say that, because I immediately thought, Mulg and MK with no debuffs!!!

Nice article! I want to write some words regarding this statement:
Well, because I´m heavily intrested in BoH to start a new Trollbloods army, I had a look at all Trollblood warlocks. And I think that Grim2 still has something to offer in BoH: - Mage Sight can be used to charge through woods. Champions as well as Fennblades can get pathfinder, therefore your opponent might not be save behind a forest. - Mirage works well on melee infantry too. - Mortality is the only damage buff for units in the entire faction!
On the other hand, you´re right of course! The feat is nothing that natively fits into BoH. My solution would be to run a ranged centric battlegroup.
That being said, maybe the new Mulg will change everything and people are stil forced to run Children of Dhunia...

Be aware that Mage Sight is Battlegroup only so Champs or Fennblades wouldn't be able to see through a forest.
That said the rest of your points are spot on. Maybe it's worth a shot.

I've always found it hard to justify having a gargantuan over the activations of more models in the battlegroup.
I like this list, hopefully there's a way to keep it mostly whole with the new mulg.

Funny you say that, because I immediately thought, Mulg and MK with no debuffs!!! Agreed. That is almost too good to pass up, even with only 26 WBP to start with.

Charge of the Trolls buffs damage for a whole unit and is easier to use now with the Brawler available.

I played a SotN list against a Cygnar spam list (8 Hammersmiths with Darius) yesterday. The scenario was Spread the Net and that was an absolute nightmare for him. Our PoD lists are usually not quite THAT bad at contesting, but the "i spam heavies" lists will indeed have a hard time in many scenarios. I think a decent solution is to have one PoD list that you think is strong in the "dead" scenarios and have another list that is more of a dedicated scenario drop that is sort of an "all comers" list. By tailoring the second list a little bit against ghost fleet i think i can easily get a decent pairing. Not sure that adding lots of Runeshapers to a PoD list will make for a strong list in any match up, and it still will be pretty damned bad at scenario anyway...

If he stays like he is, I think Madrak1 may have a lot of potential in band of heroes. It seems like everything he does is intended to make them function better. Except maybe jackhammer, but that'll be handy for clearing your beasts. I don't own one, but I wonder about a glacier king in band of heroes under him. It seems like it might have a good bit of game.
