Wait what? What happened to getting autonomous warjacks in your battlegroup in mk3?

Wait what? What happened to getting autonomous warjacks in your battlegroup in mk3? That involves killing your own forgeseer. Which is annoying.

Oh, the original conversation was what happens to Behemoth after they die. My mistake

Can't the warcaster just get him back in their battlegroup? I wish it was how that worked. The ability to pick and drop warjacks from the various battle groups would be amazing. And I'm not sure why we can't do that. It happens in the fluff. I believe Cryptix was referring to Netherby's concerns over losing the Forge Seer and leaving Behemoth high and dry for focus. In which case yes, I believe your caster can re-absorb Behemoth into his battlegroup; Behemoth might not be doing too much for that turn, but at least it probably won't be too hard to do since Behemoth would probably have been hanging back a bit. I think the idea is that if you need ranged Magic (and possibly Blessed) damage, Behemoth brings it. And with two focus and Crush he can do fine in melee if needed, and the normal risks are mitigated by the fact you can swap him over to your caster if necessary - possibly even doing it pre-emptively if you feel he's at risk by killing your own Forge Seer? Honest question: how often to your 14" shooty jacks need to shake effects? Bearing in mind that Knockdown might not be that big a problem since you can just sacrifice movement to stand up and take your normal boosted shooting. Are people facing a lot of ranged Stationary or Blind? And is that coming in lists that you would be bringing your magical ranged shooting list against?

Your caster can pick it up assuming they are close enough to walk base to base with it. There is the problem that you miss a turn and it telegraphs where your caster is going to be on the next turn to your opponent.
But if you're only sitting back shooting with Behemoth I don't think you are really getting your 25 points worth any way.
