Didn't vote because the negative answer reflects an opinion I don't share, but no I won't be getting them. I think the whole faction from playstyle to aesthetics is very very interesting and I was originally planning to go into them 100% after release. Then I learned they were a limited faction and I've seen what that means and I'm not interested.

I used to play Malifaux and actually love the aesthetics of Grymkin from top to bottom. I participated in CID, and loved every aspect of them. Initially, I wasn't a fan of feeling like I needed to be in theme, but after playing games out of theme I didn't think it was bad at all.
Still, I bought 2 boxes + battle engine and plan to double up on each beast if not more. Setting aside my PoM, Cryx, Circle, Legion, Trolls, and Cygnar. I wanna focus on getting a fully painted army with these guys.

Looks like there are some common threads here that I agree with. The loose (lack of cohesive) visual theme, previous prior investment (for me it's Khador and Rhulfolk), and the fact that some Grymkin are interesting but some are off-putting. I noticed some effort on PP's part (Matt Wilson's and Aeryn Rudel's) to connect them to the Strangelight Workshop in books, etc. I wonder if lagging interest is driving their efforts to emphasize a link with existing, and very cool, IK canon. See, this is why I'd want to buy into them. I've always really liked the Old Witch's fluff, but I've never played Khador. The model looks cool to me for Grymkin and it would be an excuse to (in a dream world) get some Khador stuff too. The Strangelight Workshop books will also likely further increase my interest. Sometimes it sucks that I like the fluff! The fact that it is a limited release faction actually appeals to me too. It means fewer models to buy (unless I start buying Khador stuff to go with Old Witch 2).

The limited release really appeals to me.
I have 3 factions that are already very difficult to keep current and painted, so the idea that I can splurge, find a couple of months to dedicate to Grymkin and then never have to worry about updating them again actually is a great boon. There's no ways I could manage a fourth main faction, but a limited release is right up my alley.
As for the rest, I love the aesthetic, I love the unique mechanics, just really looking forward to them. Just a pity they do everything Cryx is supposed to do better than Cryx, but that is the fault of Cryx, not Grymkin.

Also kinda funny people feel the need to "upgrade" their army constantly and actually get pressure from it; hook, line and sinker Nowadays I simply don't buy the models I don't like, even if my army is "lacking behind". I actually dislike a bit the idea that there is synergy, so people are made to feel inferior if they don't get the newest toys. Nice way of making sales for sure, but I don't know how nice that is for the customer. When it comes to Grymkin I really like the outlook, but some models I feel like skipping still. Neigh Slayers, Trapperkin, Cask Imp for example are not my type of models. Gorehound and Rattler are also not that hot. On the other hand Skin n Moans, Frightmare, the Heretic and Dread Rots for example are some of the best looking models PP has ever made. IMO also Piggybacks are cool, but a bit missed opportunity at the same time. The concept is great, but I feel some of the features and details could've used more work. The weapons feel out of place, and the pigs would've possibly looked better without the hats.

I'm going to stay as far as I can from what I see, IMO, as the worse desing PP ever did.

Just recently decided to move into Blindwater, but I think I'll buy some Grymkin just for the painting. Murder Crows, Hollow Men and The Child are among the most awesome models I've ever seen.

I am not keen on the sculpting style - it doesn't look like PP's stuff.
I find the faction too disparate overall.
I find the casters too human in their appearance.
Their abilities and whatnot are cool.

I see where you're coming from, but I still can't help but think options are always better. Also kinda funny people feel the need to "upgrade" their army constantly and actually get pressure from it; hook, line and sinker I think it makes sense from a "collecting" standpoint. It's not an army - it's a collection. If you can convince people to collect your product, then yes, you've got them hook line and sinker, because actually buying the product is its own hobby. And people can't collect everything, so they have to limit themselves in terms of what specifically they are collecting. You could then argue that having more options to collect should be more fun - but people tend to like to be able to reach the point, or at least the idea, of having a complete collection, which is harder and harder the more things there are to collect within the set.

I considered it (I just love the thought as having IK Satan as a warlock), but a couple of other people locally are interested.

I think its the color shceme that makes them less attractive.
A more wild colorshceme of deep blues, blacks, and reds would really make them shine.
Like if the skin and moans was a bright blubunderneath its skin cloak, could stress its a nightmare made flesh wearing a false skin.
