Bought my Mountain King used at a swap meet from a well-meaning kid whose enthusiasm for the game far exceeded his modeling skills; he's my "rescue puppy" model, brought to a home that will care for him and love him. =)
I've chiseled off the caked-on superglue, found alternatives for the missing whelps the previous owner decided not to glue on, and got some jeweler's chain to replace the missing chains on the model (also not glued on), got him primed, the skin basecoated, and then...realized the front kilt is missing.
PP doesn't sell that part on their webstore; anybody have any clever ideas for what to replace it with? I'm currently weighing a mix of a Warhammer Beastmen standard and some green stuff, but I'd really appreciate any thoughts from the community out there- I don't want my beloved rescue pet going out in the buff!

If the king went out in the buff, people might Lear at him. Especially if the Storm Raptor is around.

This can probably be made from green stuff fairly simply. Make a base structure and let it dry. then add another layer and try to smooth it to the desired shape. There are plenty of tutorials on how to model cloaks around. Those could be of value to you i think.

Alternatively, privateer press will replace parts "lost or damaged" at purchase.
As someone who has never bought a model new, let me inform you that Privateer Press doesn't ask questions or even for pictures when you place a replacement ticket.
