I know it’s not Khador, but I’ve been thinking about Neo-Mechanika ever since the site went live yesterday. I think it looks pretty cool!
I am interested in learning more about this good and/or service!

I’d google what that is, but I’m so very lazy.
I’m glad you’re excited about a thing!

Huh. Personally I’m not really into sci fi, but best of luck PP. 🤔 Is it an aesthetics thing, or you do not like the speculative nature of hard sci-fi, or the way that some sci fi invents it's own "rules" that mean our common sense doesn't apply, or do you just prefer hitting stuff with axes to shooting it with guns?

This might be somewhat simplistic thinking but Sci Fi doesn’t inspire me the way medieval fantasy does.
As for why that is....I don’t know. Being inspired is more of a feeling than anything. And stories of elves and Fey tend to captivate me where stories about space marines or mechs leave me bored.
I actually resisted getting into warmachine for nearly 5 years strictly because I had zero interest in wariacks and wanted nothing to do with them. I got past that eventually when I learned I could dude spam and take the bare minimum of jacks. The fact that mk3 was at least initially(I have no idea what the meta is like now) jack heavy was something that turned me off of the game.

Winter Guard Kommand often gets by with one colossal or two regular jacks, maybe 3 if Sorscha0 is present. And so on, and so forth.

That’s something. In Khador I rarely ran more than one jack(usually a character).
I never truly did jack spam. I think I had one Cryx list that used 4-5 jacks but most of those were arc nodes.
I’ve ran beast heavy in Circle and Skorne sometimes though. Cause monsters > robots.

Honestly, for all of mk3's faults it is in a pretty good state now, you can run both ways now really. Dudespam? Winter Guard or Doom Reavers. Jacks? Jaws of the Wolf has you covered. Shitty dudespam? Legion of Steel has you covered. Cavalry? Yes we can, and you can even bring Menite stuff because they got proper horses too. It took a while and effectively going into mk 3.5 but we passed the point of mk2 where warjacks are a "one, maybe two, or a colossal" to early mk3's "yes" to today's "possibly. What do you want?" And that's a good thing. I mean, aside from our Iron Fang theme being sad and outdated (strangely fitting) there's so much ways you can play nowadays. I think the only downside with this is that the game has at least doubled in cost if you want to enjoy that flexibility. This is the double-edged sword that themeforcemachine is really. Mk2 was "buy a character jack, buy units and solos, add caster and done. Variation was achieved by throwing some cash at a new caster and another unit or solo. Now you have to consider that aside from Kayazy slotting into every khador list as your mercenary choice most things aside from 'Jacks and the wardog don't mix.

That Hengehold Scroll is getting real.
Pretty sure they killed Drake MacBain, Durgen Madhammer, and Damiano in the last week.

I haven't been reading it. I tried briefly at the start, found it annoying and frustrating, and wrote it off.

That Hengehold Scroll is getting real. Pretty sure they killed Drake MacBain, Durgen Madhammer, and Damiano in the last week. All off-screen. The most likely candidate being Damiano. On the positive side Khador has found a way to get Karchev where he wants to be. "Drop me closer I want to hit them with my axe".

More like dropping the pretense of moving to the enemy and skipping straight to the "murder things with an axe"-part.

For those of us who don't follow the Hengehold scrolls, what's happening?
