Stop buying the Cygnar-centric books. Buy multiple copies of the Khador-centric ones. Once PP sees that Khador fiction sells better they will... probably not change anything tbh. Let’s see... the last Khador-centric book they published was that Butcher story like four years ago, so... Meanwhile: Acts of War 1, 2, and 3 were published by the Cygnaran Reconnaissance Service’s propaganda division. Seacat’s Blood of Kings had a measured Khador perspective in it but the book was 90% Magnus. Wrath of the Dragonfather was pro-Cygnar once more, Wicked Ways was faction-neutral except for the single Khadoran appearance which existed just to show “look how backwards Khadorans are” bit! Godless and the Caine books were basically neutral, as far as I remember. ...I can’t think of any recent books other than those.

Sounds like you were too late. I guess it's all your fault Khador is being wronged in the fiction.

Sounds like you were too late. I guess it's all your fault Khador is being wronged in the fiction. I bought the Butcher book (and all the rest of it!) way back when. It’s not just that Khador got beaten in the Acts of War books: it is that everything Khadoran was essentially a ridiculous parody of everything we’ve learned about them for the last 15 years. Irusk is a scheming, duplicitous cartoon villain who will sacrifice armies to save his own skin, not the deeply honorable man presented in Apotheosis. Strakhov muses about how hard Magnus is to kill, then saunters in on him while he’s distracted and quips and gives Magnus time to escape certain death, rather than immediately executing him like a cold-hearted bastard, despite being ordered to kill Magnus moments earlier. And so on, and so forth.

All joking aside, I've come to believe that perfection is rare, in part because "perfection" means different things to different people. What I want out of anything, be it an object or a work of fiction, is unlikely to exactly match the creator's vision simply because we are two different people.
So I guess you have to enjoy the good and just accept the "bad"; at least when it comes to something that isn't really life or death, like works of fiction. It helps not to get too invested. And I say this as someone who still can't think of some movies without being overcome with irrational levels of rage.
Yeah, I get that it's frustrating. You just gotta decide whether it really worth getting all that invested.
Actually, you know, you could try writing your own fan-fiction. Warmachine isn't just what PP says it is, it's also what we make it into. If nothing else Khador can be what you want it to be, at least to you. That's all that matters right?

I made an order on PP's webstore a short while ago. I decided to pick up Vlad2, but funnily enough I realised that if you don't want his shoulder pads (which I don't), it's actually cheaper to buy the pieces individually than to buy the actual model. Well, it makes sense seeing as the shoulder pads make up around 99.99% of the model's mass.
Also I didn't buy his legs as I'm planning a leg swap. Saved a few pennies there!

My Vlad2 just runs around in pauldron-less plate.

Vlad2 was a favourite of mine in mk2. Giant shoulder armour and all. He was actually a Christmas gift.

I think she’s gonna want to talk to Sorcha first.

Tbf, I have absolutely no idea what’s happened in the lore over the last several years. Maybe she has a lot of free time on her hands now.
I recommend a hobby. Perhaps basket weaving.

Good idea, hobbies will make her seem more interesting when she finally resorts to online dating.

Vlad got engaged (married? Did they ever wrap that up?) and Sorscha basically gave up and went and built the Armored Corps, because she’s throwing herself into work to further avoid sorrow. So... no substantive changes since Apotheosis, basically.
