The bed of the truck is small, but just the right size to hold all my minis when I go a-gamin'. Or all my rulebooks when I go rpg-gamin'. Heh, are you bringing multiple titans for games of Apocalypse or something? Anyway, congrats on the new truck! So I've been trying to get the hang of my new airbrush. It was supposed to save me time, but it gets blocked so quickly then I have to spend so much time cleaning it out that I'm not sure I'm gaining much overall. Ah well, it'll probably be fine once I figure out best practices and stuff. Just got my new varnish this morning, so I'm going to run some experiments with airbrushing varnish tonight. If all goes well that will hopefully allow me to finally finish off some stuff that I've had on hold for the past few months.

Let’s pretend that I didn’t watch that video. Here’s what I have used that is tremendously successful in reducing clogs. Note that I use Formula P3 as my paint of choice, but this also works with Vallejo Model Air. 1) Get some women’s pantyhose. The cheap disposable plastic eggshell kind are fine. 2) Cut a roughly 1” x 1” square out of said pantyhose. 3) Find something hollow that fits into your gravity feed paint cup. If you have a significant other who sews, you should have empty thread spools aplenty from which to choose. 4) Find a rubber band. 5) Stretch the pantyhose square over the bottom of your spool/whatever, and secure it in place with your rubber band. 6) Voila, you now have a simple, cheap way to filter your paints. This has reduced clogs by about 90-95% for me, compared to all my pre-filtering days. Regular airbrush maintenance takes care of the clogs that do form. I also recommend soaking the fluid nozzle (or whatever your equivalent piece is for your airbrush) in solvent periodically in order to thoroughly remove the gunk. I use the good old Windsor & Newton Brush Cleaner and Restorer. (My 32-oz. bottle finally ran out after 12 years of use...) Also, Buy a spare fluid nozzle so you can quickly replace a clogged nozzle while working.

I actually don't have that many. It just felt like a funny thing to say.

Oh. Well then. I am disappointed. Well I am indeed a big disappointment. I hope you have sense enough to be properly ashamed, at least. You can atone by showing up for Lock & Load next year and playing some Unbound against me.

But if I could show up I would definitely go head-to-head in some Unbound action. You only need to save like $20 each week to make the trip happen. Surely you can pony up a couple of pints of blood every week in order to live your dreams!

Heck, come to think of it, you could fly out here and like stay for a weekend or something and play multiple Unbound games against various locals! DO IT! THIS, I COMMAND!

I think my wife might object. She needs me to look after the kids when the MS hits hard.
Nice thinking though.
