Annnd they Errata's Wild Hunt already so that the theme benefit only applies to living warbeasts (same as when it was Call of the Wild). Interesting. Where did you hear this? I actually thought that making the wolds included was a nice touch. I guess the woldwyrds were never going to cast their animus either way. I find it odd that Una1 can no longer be taken for free in Secret masters (because they didn't want people getting free lesser warlock minions). I also can't tell if you can still take the battle engine. It's a Blackclad model right?

Looks interesting. The idea of their “beasts/jacks” needing to pay to stick around is interesting. And it means that if they go all in on something they need to get filled with some more essence or they’ll go poof. Sacrificing a beast to win the game, or even gain a large advantage, is a no brainer and not much of a cost.

I can't help but feel that Pagani wasn't really present for the CID only for the playtesting after. Personally, I think the present rules are probably fine though.

How are you delivering slaughterhousers? At a fraction under 2 points a model they’re very expensive infantry, and a 12/15 stat line is doing nothing keep them alive. Even if your tough rolls are on fire, they have no immunity to KD, so they’re still dying easily, and you can’t project threat further withMirage because they’re not FF. They look like they’re designed to take buffs (and honestly could use some CiD love to drop their price), but cannot get buffs in SM Well ideally you don’t play Mohsar into guns. Valkaries and clouds help deliver them. Druid cloudwall moves 8” a turn (apparition) and Valkaries have SG to take away any shots that come through. You also get them as an incredible second wave unit that hits hard and is tough. It’s all speculation at this point. I saw a pre theme Mohsar list with 3 Slaughterhousers and Mohsar work pretty darn well in early mk3. I could be mistaken but druids still get sac pawn from minions don't they? It doesn't need to be valks. I like the shamblers can bring the witch doctor and croc pot now.

She still needs a lot of work. Personally I'd love to see her switch soothing song for a better spell and gain the charmer ability, that might make her more interesting. Among other things.

Not quite on some of those. Bloodpack lost repo 3, Raptor's skyhigh got reduced distance, Morvahna1 gained beyond mortality.

The only things I might change would be finding a way to add Death Wolves (who Grayle can sprint through for cover) and maybe Gnarlhorn for Earth's Blessing. Grayle can do work but does end up exposed.

I feel like Megs is worth having. As much as I hate to say it maybe downgrade Ghetorix to a riphorn (who is pretty survivable with roots) and finagle yourself a Ravager Shaman. Now you have magic weapons through him and Megs.

I happen to really like Kaya1. Here's a Devourer's Host list I plan to try, assuming no major changes to the CID. Kaya the Wildborne - Warpwolf Stalker - Warpwolf Stalker - Gorax Rager - Loki Tharn Ravager Shaman Tharn Wolf Rider Champion Tharn Wolf Rider Champion 3 Shifting Stones 10 Tharn Bloodtrackers - Nuala the Huntress 6 Tharn Ravagers - Tharn Ravager Chieftain I don't see it. What is Kaya1 bringing to this list other then +2 mat to the beasts? Her yo-yo trick is only slightly better then sprint or drag and other then Occultation to the Ravagers the Tharn gain nothing. Plus the WW Stalkers have to pay for sprint in this theme. Can you tell us your intention?

I'm working on doing a local narrative campaign and think it would be cool to incorporate an aspect of the caster drought stuff. I'm thinking of allowing people to make junior/lesser casters. I will drop starting focus/fury to 4 and hit boxes to 5 (or 8 on med based juniors) and remove the feat cards. They will cost 4 or 5 points. Will this work or be too powerful? Not good enough? Should I limit other cards or the juniors battle group options? Should I change up the spells or spell costs?

Croc pot is a good addition for sure. Personally I also like to throw something in to increase Kromac's survivability. A shield guard or earth's blessing are both good.
