With the twitter short stories back in full swing, does anyone want to talk about the happenings? I play Legion and Protectorate and am looking forward to Rhyas sans Saeryn, but am glad we got to hear about Feora getting her comeuppance and Tristan finding his own path in his faith. It was also pretty funny to read about the meteoric rise and then fall of Goreshade...again. The guy went from renegade prince to eldritch to revenant elf, to demi-god, and possibly back to something dead?

I can hardly tell what's going on with the story. It seems poorly written. Last I could tell, they killed the Infernal collosal by having it pushed through the gate and Zaateroth was grabbed by something Haley pulled out of time, I think. Although the last thing she summoned was an airship for refugees. And the Caine says the battle is over, although Kruger was just literally overrun and killed by a swarm of Infernals. So I really have a difficult time understanding what is going on.

If anyone can decipher and summarize their interpretation of the latest Hengehold Scrolls posts, I'd appreciate it.

So it was actually the Convergence Iron Mother that grappled with the infernal master, but it was just a ruse, and jumped through the gate, after it was reset to a different location, to presumably keep the Colossal in place.
Before this the Convergence priests were talking about how the Colossal was the lynchpin in the battle and removing it would give them a fighting chance. Afterward, Krueger and the remaining Convergence priest held a last stand against the remaining lesser infernal horrors. In the aftermath the Black 13th and Caine’s daughter take stock of their surroundings. I assume Zaateroth was taken care of and the Battle of Hengehold is winding down.
Edit: Zaateroth was portaled along with the Colossal and Iron Mother in the latest update. Omodamos is still around trying to figure out what to do next after the Testament of Menoth steals a bunch of his souls to the City of Man and the last infernal still hasn't reconstituted.

And so the Harbinger dies and the true "judgement" of Menoth is shown to be giving the stink eye to someone. Okay, and the Testament went all invincible and ripped back some souls...
