Mortenebra 1 runs Mercenary jacks very well. She might our best jack warcaster, with the possible exceptions of Montador and Mortenbera 2. I love Recalibration. I think that a jack-heavy list with a squad of Bilethralls with an Enumerator for Realignment if very useful. A Diffuser and 3 Galvanizers are probably too much in terms of vectors but they are free or cheap. At least one unit of the Optifex Directive seems helpful. Too bad Conflict Chamber is wrong. I wish that I could take Grundback Gunners or Blasters in a Mortenebra force like Conflict Chamber says it could be. Eilish and Widget are helpful. I broad 2 Mules and 3 Nomads. What do you think of this list?

Haven't ran against this list. Would be interested in playing against it via WarTable.

marxlives, how we schedule a WarTable match with one another? Also, I have been working on the math, and I need help with the math. With three Mules, with Recalibration and boosting to hit, what is the probabiltiy of getting two crits? Or of getting three crits in the same turn with four Mules? I know my probability for getting one crit in both situations and getting two crits with two Mules, three with three, four with four, but not getting a number of crits between the minimum and the maximum. I keep getting ridiculous numbers for this. Like, for three mules, I get a probability of either 8/9 or over 1, the last one is definitely wrong. The point is, I know that a battery of Mules with Mortenebra 1 in strange Bedfellows is good, but the exact math eludes me. Not including Puppet Master, I can make all of my Mules able to crit about 2/3 of the time if I feat and they boost to hit. This is very easy to do with Mortenbra 1, between Sacrificial Lamb and Power Up. Since you have no jack marshals and all of the jacks get the focus from these two mechanics, if I use Tune UP, some of the focus is actually wasted, but there seems no way around this. However, I can boost all of my Mules' roll to hit and boost to damage the primary damage roll and one of my Mules gets Tune Up to boost all of its damage rolls for only 1 Focus point from Mortenebra 1. That is one great turn of shooting, while you could decide to camp focus on her to make her harder to kill in response. Obviously, I bring Nomads for melee and they require more focus from Mortenebra, but a Diffuser lets them charge for free. A Nomad with rerolls on all attack and damage rolls and four PS 18 attacks (will a boost on the charge attack, for free) costs my Warcaster 1 Focus on top of the 1 that I am already spending on Sacrificial Lamb. Against a Colossal, I can spend 4 Focus from Mortenebra, camp 3 Focus, and get an entire gunline of Mules backed up by three Nomads that will get a total of 12 PS18 attacks, three of which will be boosted. This probably will not kill the Colossal by itself, but it will be very close to death, as they do an average of 48 damage points to an Arm 20 Colossal not counting any rerolls. The shooting jacks can help finish it off too. It is a theoretically strong army, but the exact numbers on the Mules would be helpful.

conflictchamber.com/?c6201b_-2ppQd4d5d5nBnBnBnBnpnppri1dA1FHere is Variant 2 of the above list. Basically, it is 4 Mules, 2 Nomads, 2 Galvanizers, 1 Diffuser, Widget, the Necrosurgeon unit and 1 large unit of Mechanithralls with an Enumerator. Essentially I trade a Nomad for Mechanithralls and Enumerator.

Im actually going to try four variants. This is variant 3, the one with Eilish. Im not sure about him, actually. conflictchamber.com/?c6201b_-2ppQd4d5d5nBnBnBnpnpnpj6pri11FThis variant starts with 3 Mules and 3 Nomads, 2 Galvanizers, 1 Diffuser, Widget, the Necrosurgeon and the Mechanithralls, with no Enumerator, and Eilish.

This is the fourth and final variant. Which one should I play-test first on WarTable? conflictchamber.com/?c6201b_-2ppQd4d5d5nBnBnBnpnpnppr1WdAThis last variant is the most radical of the four, giving up the Necrosurgeon unit. I also give up the Mechanithralls. I do bring a large unit of Bile Thralls, with the Enumerator. Widget, 3 Mules, and 3 Nomads, 2 Galvanizers, and 1 Diffuser remain the core of the army.
