THEME: Winter Guard Kommand --- Or War Room Army

There are tournaments that want to play unfinished SR 2017?
Anyway, first list is better under 2017 since it actually has infantry to score and significant amount of ranged damage. I'm not sure if B3 + bunch of support solos is even playable now.
Z1 fangs is better than Vlad 2 by itself, but I haven't tried it yet in 2017, it may become worse.

My theory was vlad2 played better into legion since fyanna is becoming big for legion, but i feel I dont have an answer to cryx with any of these lists.

Why don't you think Butcher WG works into Cryx?

Why don't you think Butcher WG works into Cryx? Ghost fleet at a guess.

That info is outdated. If the current CID makes it through, you're going to need a high amount of relatively high pow melee.

The new wraith engine. Instead of buffing incorporeal, it now gives all undead +2 ARM against ranged and magic. ARM 20 bane knights, ARM 17 bane warriors, ARM 16 brute thralls, etc. If they bring Darrage, snipe him out as fast as you can because otherwise they'll just brick up.

For those of you who have played against Ghost Fleet, help me out. I haven't yet. So, looking up the tier list, it seems you're going to have to have enough magical weapons for...
...1 unit of Ghost Raiders ...A handful of Wraith solos (how the heck is the Hellslinger Phantom a legal free solo?!?) ...The Wraith Engine
OK, so let's actually talk about building B3 to be a cryx drop here for a few minutes. (Granted, you should just ignore everything I'm saying since - like I said - I need to qualify this by saying I actually haven't faced Ghost Fleet...)
If you want to stay in theme, I think you're going to be OK if you go with Jaws of the Wolf. That gives you Ruin, 2 free Forge Seers at least one of whom should be marshaling either a Destroyer or Behemoth (with Double D or Big B good options for hunting incorporeal solos), and Butcher.
That feels like enough. On paper it looks like the Ghost Fleet will lose a lot of steam once you take out the Wraith Engine (Ruin's job), and the solos (I'm trusting Behemoth's bombards and the Forge Seers). OK, you're probably absorbing an alpha somewhere in terms of melee, but that just brought B3 a crap ton of solos to munch. (And as far as incorporeal goes, B3 is kinda like the Honey Badger...he just don't care).
Thoughts from folks who have played it?
EDIT: Now that I've written this, I'll add that my own 2 list pair anchor is Karchev Jaws list with 8 jacks including a marshalled Destroyer. I think I'd feel *really* comfortable going into Ghost Fleet with that. The Destroyer can hunt solos on the approach. I think I can rely on the feat turn to clear off enough chaff to go way up on attrition. Which casters are Cryx players dropping with Ghost Fleet? I need to think about that.
