I am looking to ourchase a skorne battle engine if not eventually both my loval group is currently running 50pt armies as alot of us are newer or returning to the game and as such we are slowly progressing in points and I was looking at the SG for both my xerxis (could becone rasheth) immortals list in exalted, and my MoW Makeda 2 list with cetrati's. Thoughts on this? Is it worth it, I know people rave about the derp so I wanted to know opinions on SG

Both battle engines are excellent. If ur looking to expand an Exalted list you already like, adding a Supreme Guardian is an A+ way to do so.

The SA is largely independent and can often hold a flank on its own, especially in smaller (<75pt) games. Other than Pain Givers in early turns, there is not much other support it needs and has a good ranged game as well as melee. Some warlocks really boost it, like Rasheth or Xerxis 2, while everyone else is happy for the support without using too many resources. [It has lessened in MK3, but early on it was almost our best model and the "crutch factor" is still present in a lot of lists, some running 2!]. The SG has recursion, so wants to see troops and wants to get souls! It is melee-centric and can really bully an area of the field - but has to commit more to do so. Super fun model, almost a necessity if you're building Exalted. (not "required" but only benefits Exalted lists, really increasing their game. Zaal2 with 2xSG being the top list at the moment) It looks awesome too, I prefer the style of that model over the SA. Both sound really fun with Xerxis' feat (makes me want to play him again!). The SG in Makeda 2 sounds like a recursion nightmare between Well of Rage and Stay Death. Like josephkerr said, you can't go wrong
