Hi Guys!
I'm new to the game and I don't have any trollbloods mini.
Which pieces do I need to get started an army of SotN?I would play a list of 50pt but suggestions for future update to 75pt. are well accepted!!
Thank you in advance!

Hello and welcome to the Kriels!!! Are you totally new to the game or did you just switch factions? What does your Meta look like (Lots of veteran players or just new starters?) You are specifically asking for SotN, I think this is our most favourite theme right now. It also has some overlap with the other Themes, Power of Dhunia (because of all the Warbeasts) and Band of Heros (Pretty much everything in BoH other than Fennblades are also found in SotN). Most Key Models to have in my Optinion: Troll welps (needed to keep your Beasts happy), Dire Troll Heavy Kit (magentize all options, you will often feature 2 heavies and one of them will be a Mauler most of the time. Alternatively: Get an old Metal Mauler and a metal/magnetized Bomber - this is your pair most often), Runebearer (Almost every Warlocks wants one), Krielstone and Elder (+2 Arm is insanely good on all beasts and heavy infantry, 95% of Troll lists feature a stone and most of them have the Elder on Top to give out another layer of Buff!), Fell Caller Hero (Hits hard and gives out important buffs to infantry!).
I would recommend getting the SoTN Theme Box. This is not useful to get two times, because the Stone, Valka curseborn and the Stone attachement are all unique, but it covers models you would want anyways and gives a slight discount on them! The Beasrs and the Fire Eaters are two units that see a lot of play in SoTN. This list would base of that Box (+ Madrak 1, 5 Champions, and two Dire Troll heavy plastic Kits - which I would strongs recommend to magnetize!) Trollbloods [Theme] Storm of the North [Madrak 1] Madrak Ironhide, Thornwood Chieftain [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Northkin Elder [3] Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Trollkin Champions (max) [16] This Army should be rather straight forward. Madrak and his Beasts will not profit from the Northkin synergies, but I think that he is solid and strong caster and easy to learn anyways!
75 Points for this:
Trollbloods [Theme] Storm of the North
[Madrak 1] Madrak Ironhide, Thornwood Chieftain [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Fell Caller Hero [0(5)] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Northkin Elder [3] Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Trollkin Champions (max) [16] - Skaldi Bonehammer [5] - Trollkin Sorcerer (1) [3]
We added a second unit of Fire eaters and bears, also kitted out the Champions to full with skaldi and the very important Shaman. The Fell caller is staple unit in trollbloods so it is always a welcome pick! [/Spoiler][/div]
The Battle Box is also an okay place to Start. Ragnor is a great Caster (also) for beginners! The Bouncer sees some Play, the Axer also, the Impaler does not - until he finally drops a point or two - but he is just fine for small games! If you want to go to 50 points directly (I would not recommend this if you are new to the game: Rather go 0 points, then 10-25, 35 and then 50 when you have become comfortable with the game sizes). I would however just wait to see if you can gab half a 2 player battle box! This costs pretty much the same but gives you 10 Fennblades basically for free. You SoTN Minis can partially be used for their theme as well (Band of heroes) using this theme gives you some counter play to specific builds!
Getting the SotN Box, 2 Heavy Kits and the half of that 2 Player Battle Box together with Champoins (+UA and Sorcerer) and Fennblade UA also gives more Options in other Themes already!
Trollbloods [Theme] Band of Heroes
[Madrak 1] Madrak Ironhide, Thornwood Chieftain [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Stone Scribe Elder [3] Trollkin Champions (min) [10] - Skaldi Bonehammer [0(5)] - Trollkin Sorcerer (1) [3] Trollkin Fennblades (max) [15] - Trollkin Fennblade Officer & Drummer [5]
Trollbloods [Theme] Power of Dhunia
[Ragnor 1] Ragnor Skysplitter, the Runemaster [+30] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Troll Axer [10] - Troll Bouncer [9] - Troll Impaler [11] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Troll Whelps [4] Dhunian Knot [0(6)] or anything that costs 4! Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Stone Scribe Elder [3]
How much you want to invest initially is up to you and maybe up to what other players around you want and how fast you want to grow! I think that starting from Ragnor and the Battle Box (Better half the 2 Player Battle box for free Fennblades!) and adding the big box afterwards is also reasonable. Then you can play small games first get feel for the models and the faction before dumping a lot of money into Trolls
I would also mention this:
You might have seen it already, but this (sticky) guide is very useful for starting out and still pretty much up to date I think.
Check out Tim Banky playing Madrak1 (also good channel to learn a lot!)
Finally all Models have entries on Line of Sight Warmachine university:
This is the most valuable resource on Trolls and everything else in WarmaHordes out there I think!

I own different legion models for aesthetic but never played seriously!so I'am a newbe! Some friends decided to return to the game and bring me back so don't know what kind of meta there is XD, love the composition of SotN, without war engine and not too many beasts!
Thank you so much for your response you went beyond my expectations!!
I heard that there will be an update in the coming months, what's new?

There are a lot of used troll armies up for sale right now. If you are in the US and use Facebook, go to the trollblood faction page or the warmachine / hordes sale or trade US page, or even bartertown.com. It is a good time to buy in.

Frankly this has not been confirmed as such. PP have stated they made minor corrections in regards to theme changes and oblivion and want to see how the meta shapes out, before looking into something else. While doing this they have time to mass produce their Riot Quest models whom are pretty much Mercs/minions all of them (with a few exceptions) Having said that Trolls might be looked at as TB are really down the power ranking in the current meta, where only with luck and extremely good play people can get by. Not saying TB are crappy or anything, just historically the last 1½ much that was corrected in CID have pretty been boosted to meta defining degree. And TB just haven't been part of that. SotN is pretty good, but the changes to themes also made Kriel company viable, Band of Heroes live and die by take down which still is an insanely good benefit.

Thank's for that!I like TB aesthetic and don't think to go into some tournament any time soon but I'm really happy that SotN is considerate good, I can lose with honor at least!

Actually I like that list a lot, of course normally you would want to have a mauler for rage but since everything else can hit pretty hard (champions) i guess its ok. Secondly I would probably drop the Gobbers and put warders to minimum unit giving you 9 points for Sons of Bragg... But run with what you have there its absolutely not bad at all

Yeah I would choose the mauler but I opted for EBDT to fit all the pieces, hope his enough! Sons of Bragg should be a great add, what's the best place for positioning them?

Okay this may become a bit wierd but I will try You have Champions, Fennblades, Sons who deal the damage. You have Fell Caller Hero , Stone Scribe for support - actually FCH arent really needed as everything hits anyway and almost everyone can get pathfinder so toss him out for Boomhowler2 for Repo(3) on the stone when it walks Then you have stone & UA with min warders Line up from side to side Fennblades + UA- Sons of bragg - Champions + UA EBDT - SSC - Madrak - Bomber - Runebearer - Stone - Boomhowler Warder - Warder - Warder of course when you deploy they all want to be on the front but advancing something like that Fennblades get concealment and runs to engage closing down one side. The switch conceal to Sons that plow up the middle bomber throws at the enemy helping the champs soften up what they WILL kill. EBDT is second wave to kill anything that break thru Fenns. Stone with repo move 8" up and is shield guarded up to three time so Lord of the feast wont just take them out Anyway thats what I would be doing more or less

I thought that warders were more a screen line for warriors, I'll go for that formation than!!

to be honest Warders can be in front or back I would however use them to "shield guard" the weakest link (stone) I believe they have 7" cmd so you can spred them out a bit
