Watching Brandon Andrews make it to the top table at Giga-con plus the new theme changes have got me thinking about hopping back on that troll train. Been thinking about Ragnor in KC for a while but now with the mark target changes it seems doable. Battlegroup in that list is still in the tweaking stages. I like the mountain king for how tanky it is and bringing out whelps for more mark target models and I also like D&S again for being really tanky but also his animus is super solid in this list. The Kolgrima list is a fairly one I think can play into Harbinger Protectorate well enough to have a game. conflictchamber.com/?c7201b_-1tfLesc6jqfF6R0k0mfKc8hUhU___-26j19DiWjqpk6G6T0l0m0b0c6lTrollbloods [Theme] Kriel Company [Ragnor 1] Ragnor Skysplitter, the Runemaster [+30] - Dozer & Smigg [18] - Mountain King [36] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Swamp Gobber Chef [1] Troll Whelps [0(4)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Stone Scribe Elder [3] Pummeler Crew [0(6)] Sons of Bragg [9] War Wagon [16] War Wagon [16] Trollbloods [Theme] Band of Heroes !!! I need to watch Brandon andrews! I think Trolls should be fine, it is more a lack of "new shiny" and buffs that make people less excited. I find those Mark target welps sound super good! Also Ragnor loves shoot a shockwave at one to knock down valuable targets! Both lists look fine, I just wonder of one should really bring collossals in both list pairings. I think this shows how much list building is opening up now!

Does Kolgrima run gargs? Clouds don't hide them.
I'm quite excited about Kriel Company, though, and worry that PoD can't keep up with our other themes unless you plan to go full on beasts.

I use Gargs with Kolgrima to extend my LOS blocking with a cloud wall. Also the Sea King + hunters mark has a pretty gnarly 14" threat so he can really bully the board. My Kolgrima list here includes a Mauler because I want to be able to one round a colossal *cough* judicator *cough* if I have to but usually I just bring it with her and a light because he threatens heavies unbuffed. I probably don't need a garg in both lists but I don't really have any qualms about it personally since I love our gargantuans and find them to perform fairly well with my play-style. In the Ragnor list I wanted another piece which would be VERY difficult to remove under his feat while also being a huge threat + the MK spawns more mark target solos so thats fun. You can see a few of Brandon Andrews's games here www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnsxdaZeKAU&list=PLF9KRDsHpCzX_MXKRxOQcKxydqQXcZ2Pb. The video quality and angle isn't the greatest but there's commentary on the games.

I think the reasoning is logical. Also I love how this brings fresh air into Trollblood list building!
