Mostly cause it is being ninja'ed for me but I do wonder how much the hermit might change things with our battlelust/further casters. The reason is that WHEN THEY GET THERE fangs are good. HERMIT tunes them up to 11. Stopping hermit requires volumes of shots. Whme he gets here I may try it out, perhaps with irusk1 cause supertough no knockdown is good.
(While doomies are also great with battlelust you hit slightly harder, have a nice crit effect and precisin strike is just amazing.

I get the ARM debuff as good for Fangs, but I'm not sure that's turning up to 11. Irusk1's hit buff + Battlelust + ARM debuff is very good though. Not sure I prefer the Hermit to Ragman, simply as the Dark Shroud lets me use those 2" melee weapons to spread the buff while keeping Ragman screened. Probably need play time to decide which works better for me.

Hermit and Skirova could be used to cause headaches?
Cheers, Dave

I think either the Hermit or Ragman are both fine. Slightly prefer Ragman if only because I don't like the idea of the Hermit getting pushed/slammed into a position to be used against me, but at the same time I quite like Sorscha1 Legion of Steel and she would love Telemetry. Six of one and half a dozen of the other, I think.

Yeah as far as damage buff for legion of steel ragman is just better. The hermit shine with ranged models, something that legion of steel just doesn’t have so I don’t see the hermit changing the dynamic for legion of steel.

Battle lust on fangs which make the effectively hitting plus one over doomies

What is the Armor debuff you speak of? Also im pretty sure Sand meant to put a coma in there, doomies can't get BL. Irusk1 was always my favorite legion of steel caster. He does miss FFE, but LOS has almost no shooting. Iron flesh, superiority, and battle lust are all great. As well as pathfinder and repo 3 on a stick.
Im intrigued to know the vlad2 list in LOS. It kind of makes me sad to see vlad2 just dominating all the themes we have (in a good way?).

He’s not a bad caster choice for the theme, I just don’t think he’s the best there. I prefer Sorscha3 here for a build with demo corps, or Old Witch 2 for a build with bombardiers. I think he’s without the shadow of a doubt the best wolves of winter caster tho. He’s pretty good with melee build so he’s also a logic choice for legion of steel. But I don’t think he’s too dominating in the list building, especially with the new warrior of the old faith and flame in the dark toys.

You might be in a minority, but you're not alone. I think Vlad2's popularity is down to his incredible toolbox. Hit buff, damage buff, anti-shooting and anti-cloud, decent jack buff. He has a little bit of a focus boost from great power, and if he needs to get down and dirty he has what is often a P16 thresher. And then on top of that his feat buffs everything. He's the bacon of casters; everything is better with Vlad2.
I think his prevalence will drop purely because we have more options now; with everyone running AC + Wolves as a pairing Vlad2 was always going to show up more often as he's a top 3 choice with either theme. But if we start seeing more of Jaws and WGK he'll drop back a bit.

I agree, he's a great top 3 in AC, WoW, and it sounds like LEGOS too. LEGOS could use something similar to what JAWS received in terms of changes. Once FitD is fully playable, i have a feeling that's going to replace LEGOS as youe small based decently armored list. AC + WoW is a great pairing, but i am 100% considering swapping WoW for FitD.

Vlad2 is honestly our turd polisher, saying he makes troop X or Y good is kind of meaningless when he can make mechanics modestly threatening with his feat.
