There are only going to be 3 Masters upon release - Agathon, Omodamos, and Zaateroth. All of the Infernal models that are coming out have, in all likeliness, been included in the Infernal CID. It seems very unlikely that we will see any surprise Infernal releases that were not a part of the CID.
The Oblivion CID will see a revamp to Hearts of Darkness. The second theme for Infernals may see more continued testing of the previous CID's model profiles, but I wouldn't expect anything new and that the requested feedback will be specifically geared toward Hearts of Darkness and what that theme ends up including.
Infernals are a very limited faction intended, seemingly, to coincide with existing models to create a nuanced play experience embracing profiles from already established factions.
I have my opinions, positive and negative, about this choice and direction. However, I'm actually very excited about where the Infernal CID ended up. It was a rocky start and the twist in direction for week 3 also some frustration, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how it all came together.
My favorite Master is Agathon. Agathon checks off a lot of my favorite boxes and has lots of nuance combined with some raw casting power.
Zaateroth is a close second. I like how her kit interacts and find that the choices I get to make are fun and compelling.
Omodamos is, aesthetically, my favorite. He looks the part of an epic bad-ass. Sadly, though, he is the least appealing to play. I spelled this out in the other thread a bit more, but the general problem I have is that he's ineffectual or he's overbearing - there isn't a lot of gray are to this Master. What's more, the black and white play experience of Omodamos is relatively muted. He's a synergy caster that needs Horrors, but has a harder time summoning them in the match ups he likely get's dropped into. If he changes and gets some nuance then I'm going to be a bit happier with his kit.
Like other limited factions, more infernal models will come down the pipeline - it'll be some time, however.
