One of the things that I love in AC is procc'ing shatter. It is a staple of my Vlad2 feat turns as I sent the hopefully hand of fated DC in while Arcane Might is up (why can't we still call it transference???) and start hammering away. I have wreck VERY big things with it. Really the best way to do it cause basic crits are at about a 5 in 36 or 4 in 36 chance. Not great odds.
So I got to thinking about other ways and I was struck by some synergies between Sorscha3 and Brun. What stinks here is that he can't really get a bunch of things but......
A) You have an additional source of counter charge. Essentially it is all over the map. B) With her concealment aura you can get him up to DEF 15 against shooting and with stone hands it is REALLY hard to shoot him off the table. C) Lug's Bear hands offers another source of control (along with S3's feat) D) With Brun being a small base the DC can offer some screening for him.
D) And the big one - with the fury mechanic Cragback can boost the hit on something sweet with his spray to try to proc the crit. Probably boosting ANYWAY cause Fury 4 sucks.
So something like...
conflictchamber.com/#c3201b_-0Tk_kV7skTbMhFhF8pl5l386l2l7l1Khador Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Armored Corps [Sorscha 3] Kommandant Sorscha Kratikoff [+28] - Beast 09 [18] - Kodiak [13] - Marauder [11] Brun Cragback [16] Greylord Forge Seer [4] Greylord Forge Seer [4] Man-O-War Drakhun [9] Man-O-War Kovnik [4] Man-O-War Suppression Tanker [0(6)] Battle Mechaniks (min) [3] Kommandant Atanas Arconovich & Standard [7] Man-O-War Demolition Corps (max) [14] - Sergeant Dragos Dragadovich [0(6)]
IF goes on the DC to get them into the respectable ARM 18 (and Def 12 in the concealment bubble). Forge Seers help with loading up the jacks - something that I find she needs. Drakhun for triggering flank. Brun with the spray of doom if it crits.

I don't think it's very good. Sorscha3 herself is already pretty good at making targets stationnary, and before you start complaing about the nuke being too expansive, most of the time I make people stationnary with her melee attack, wind rush and tactician man o war have always been enough to protect her afterward for me.
Also, Storm's Embrace is only faction models, so no helping the dwarf and his bear with concealment.

Arcane might gives you a 50% chance to prod shatter. Not too terrible.

Arcane might gives you a 50% chance to prod shatter. Not too terrible. Whereas spending a focus to boost the damage roll gives you a 100% chance to get +1d6 on the damage roll.

Well the ways boosting attack is better 1) one crit helps other guys on same charge 2) charge is already boosted so can’t arcane might another boost 3) demo core mat is not that good. Cos say a def 14 you will miss a fair bit. All three together have me boosting demo attacks a fair bit. Not sure any single one outweighs a booster damage role, but together I bet they often do.

I think this list works better to support man-o-war models than others. conflictchamber.com/#c3201b_-0T47kVkRkR8fl5l5l4l3l2l7l77Pgd7PgdKhador Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Armored Corps [Sorscha 1] Kommander Sorscha [+29] - Beast 09 [18] - Berserker [8] - Berserker [8] - War Dog [3] Man-O-War Kovnik [0(4)] Man-O-War Kovnik [4] Man-O-War Strike Tanker [0(5)] Man-O-War Suppression Tanker [0(6)] Kommandant Atanas Arconovich & Standard [7] Man-O-War Demolition Corps (max) [14] Man-O-War Demolition Corps (max) [14] Man-O-War Shocktroopers (min) [10] - Man-O-War Shocktrooper Officer [4] Man-O-War Shocktroopers (min) [10] - Man-O-War Shocktrooper Officer [4] It has a major weakness into cold immune models (kolgrima, Borkas, and a few others), and knockdown can be hard, but it also hits a few good check marks. Warjack threat extention. Unit/solo threat extention. Accuracy buffs (multiple stationary effects) Caster protection (Sorscha yo-yo) Armor cracking Scenerio presense Infantry hate Pathfinder options It does lack magic weapons, and incoporial answers but no list can be perfect. One could sway a kovnic for a forge seer if magic is that needed.

I would consider Brun if he was 15pt. 16 puts you out of 3 free solos range so it's like a double whammy, you both take not very efficient model and make the rest of the list worse.
If you want a merc freeze you can have Talon with marshal or Dirty Meg.

Counting on criticals to work when you want is folly. It's all odds man. I am not saying you go ALL IN on something that relies on a crit. But I am saying you roll some dice... some will work, some won't. If you planned better then your opponent, most of the time you will win.
