Thanks Fenrir1997. I really appreciate all the good feed back everyone. This is the first time I took my time on a model and I'm very happy with the outcome. I'm looking to seeing my whole army done.

Working on my Cygnar battlebox. Finally worked out Vallejo Surface Primer and my airbrush so that was progress. Have the Ironclad with most of his color base coat done while I wait for my Scale75 metallics to come in. Excited to get to work on them. Really enjoying Warmachine models as a whole though compared to my past experience in 40k. I find I am far more likely to take my time and do a model right when he doesn't have 30 identical brethren waiting in line behind him...

I am brand new (like three games in new) and I bought a used Khador army with about 100 models already painted. They were painted red and I agree with Bobaflex, I just didn't want the red. I currently working to strip models down and then figure out how to paint them. I going with an ice blue primary color. Working on Greylord Ternions, Juggernaut, and a few pikemen at the moment. These are not in my current list, so I can take my time to try to figure out what/how I am going to do this. I will post a pic up some time this weekend.

I'm actually a little bit torn. I finally finished painting Kraye for Cygnar, though I may go back and touch up his face. Other than that, once his base is done so is he. After that I'm torn. I just got a massive amount of Menoth dumped on me, and I really love the Exemplar Vengers. Might try to paint one or two by the end of the month.

Though the model lines on the Lancer are killing me a bit. But then again so many models have an insane amount of mold lines so missing some is going to happen.

I think that has to do with me being a bit of a newbie. Those two are only the second and third Jack/beast ive every painted..ever. No experience in other painting hobbies before that. I have two small files one rounded, the other has that triangle shape, but my untrained eye didnt see it as much of an issue. Thanks none the less for the love!

Totally fair Cookie. If you have the chance, I would recommend picking up something like this: store.privateerpress.com/fp3-sculpting-setIt doesn't have to be P3, lots of brands make these. But effectively what you're looking for is the tool on the top of that picture. It's sharp enough to take off model lines on both plastic and metal but not sharp enough to cut your hand. Using files is great, but with some PP models, trying to get a file into places where there are mold lines is an exercise in futility. Lots of people will recommend a hobby knife instead. But I prefer suggesting a tool like that out of a sculpting set simply because it'll save your hands many of cuts. Plus it's a good multi-purpose tool. You can use it to help fill annoying gaps with green stuff or help spread say white pumice on a base. It's a small thing, but it's one of the absolute first things I recommend new players pick up (alongside a good pair of clippers).

Did NOT think about using them that way but probably so much easier!!! Thanks for that eye opener!

Nice Bobaflex. The yellow is nice and poppy.
Meanwhile these Gallows Groves have so many skulls on them, it's like I'm painting a GW Khorne model from the late 90's/early 00's. SKULLZ FOR THE SKULL TREE!

Ok, here is what is in progress for me. Remember these are the first models I have ever painted and they still have plenty of work to be done. Here are my top half of the juggernaut and greylord ternions. Your suggestions/feedback are more than welcome!

This month i've been painting a ragtag of models... it's complecated but i've found that I do enjoy variety.
Right now im' busy finishing Tags1, Lord Carver, Wrong Eye and Snapjaw and my Archangel.
I've also finished my Blightblades unit.
@zefirus - What's the overall scheme you are going for? From the pics I would sugest several thin layers of the the base colour and perhaps a wash on the armour of the ternions.
