Ok so I have played most of my recent Khador games with Butcher3 WG Theme. In my experience the Winter Guard are either useless or my opponent dropped the wrong list and just gets absolutely blasted. The problem I have is that the games where they are useless are usually what Butcher3 wants to drop into. I found that their targets are either stealth, windwalled, immune to non-magical shooting, or high enough def/arm that unbuffed duders can't really do the work. I guess this could just be my meta, but there is so much anti-shooting tech that it trivializes their contributions. In light of this I started to look around for other options.
I was originally worried about the focus load for my warjacks in Jaws of the Wolf so I stayed away, but I played two games with (a very small sample size and that is why I am posting) and I typically didn't have many problems because my 'jacks usually die eating their alpha.
So I really like this list into Ghost Fleet and Dude Spam in general. Behemoths guns are almost always useless, but the threat of them makes people play honest. The true all-stars so far have been the Kayazy Eliminators with Silence of death. They just absolutely scythe through stuff and that RFP against Ghost Fleet is super valuable.

Like the list, B3 is one of our two caster that has anti recursion that can be dropped into ghost fleet and this list looks good for that.

I also like it because it actually has game into Witch Coven as well. I found that it's also beefy enough to trade with most heavy spam lists. Good times.

Magnopus, I've not played into Ghost Fleet but your list looks legit. If you're teching for dudespam, I wonder if you are better off dropping one warjack (still staying above 75 points for the 3 free models) to fit in the Widowmakers. That's 4 more dead dudes each round, and you already have the WMM. Seems like either a Marauder or Juggernaut are not essential to what you're trying to do with the list.
I haven't tried marshaling the Behemoth yet. A whole long thread on that topic (that then drifted off topic). Has that worked out for you?

It gives me tools and two kodiaks, Marauder and ruin is a pretty legit Battlegroup. It does leave me with a single point left over though. Addressing the Marshalled behemoth....I typically find its only good on casters that don't have a super legit battlegroup ability. Energizer is fine, but I don't feel like I'm losing much. Typically the +2 to hit is better and very rarely I get the +2 to damage. Most opponents just measure to make me move to shoot them. When the marshal does die its not too big of a deal. An autonomous Behemoth for a turn or two is fine overall. Butcher can always bring him into his battlegroup. I would say that getting the conditions to line up to make marshalling behemoth worth it are pretty rare. You need to have a caster in Jaws of the Wolf theme (Not paying 8 points for this) and that means that caster wants to run jacks and kayazy. Maybe Sorscha2 would be fine as well? Actually seems pretty legit. You get most of what you need. Ironflesh assassins are pretty good too. Maybe I'll try that out after the coming tournaments.

Like that list but what about dropping a unit of eliminators, add the Doge and bring min units of mechanics. That helps Butcher in end game and ensures you get the 4 jacks in the battle group (and Behemoth) up and ticking with full systems (especially cortexes)
