What does Borka "The Codpiece" Kegslayer like in this edition?
I'm not looking for a game breaker just something casually competitive and fun. I'm looking at Rok, Brawler, Light. Min/Max Cavalry point depending. Raiders. (?) SotN if it's thrown in theme. So Bears I guess.

I've ran this recently in some casual games and I've had fun with it. The kriel are surprisingly effective with mosh pit, annoying to remove with arcane ward, and make for cheap trade targets. With the stone, pow 12 makes them decent for removing infantry and fell caller can get them MAT 7, which is decent as well.

He makes champions really good. Add in the normal SotN stuff like bears and FEs. I liked. Pyre with him too since he is REALLY punchy then. 7 attacks at MAT 9 POW 19 is a thing hehe.

My favorite will always be scattergunners and maulers, but that doesn't exist in theme anymore.
War Room Army
Trollblood - b1 pre theme mk3
Theme: No Theme Selected 75 / 75 Army
Borka Kegslayer - WB: +28 - Keg Carrier - Dire Troll Mauler - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 15) - Dire Troll Mauler - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13) - Dire Troll Mauler - PC: 15 was it rok or a bomber?
Troll Whelps - 5 Whelps: 4 Fell Caller Hero - PC: 5
Scattergunners - Leader & 9 Grunts: 14 - Scattergunner Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 4 - Trollkin Sorcerer - PC: 3 Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes - Leader & 3 Grunts: 6 - Stone Scribe Elder - PC: 3
Scatters actually hit in melee with fell caller. Knock stuff down under mosh pit. Sprays actually hit stuff knocked down. Clear keeps your own guys safe. Maulers boost first hit, then guaranteed chain for throws.
It wasn't great, but was fun to play.
Also, I don't think Rok was there... I think it was a bomber. It was a long time ago.

My favorite will always be scattergunners and maulers, but that doesn't exist in theme anymore. How about Blitzers? :P They can still get up to PS 19 here. Bulldoze and Dual Attack could be fun with Mosh Pit. conflictchamber.com/#c7201b_-0D075T5TjoiU6G6R0l0mfKj06t7rTrollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Kriel Company [Borka 1] Borka Kegslayer [+28] - Dire Troll Blitzer [16] - Dire Troll Blitzer [16] - Pyre Troll [8] - Rok [19] Fell Caller Hero [0(5)] Troll Whelps [4] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Stone Scribe Elder [3] Pummeler Crew [0(6)] Pyg Lookouts (max) [10] Scattergunners (max) [14] - Scattergunner Officer & Standard [4] For that matter, how about DEF 14 ARM 17 Boomhowlers? I want to play him with the Hooch Hauler as its looks hilarious and he helps its accuracy through knockdown. Also drunken bears are pretty annoying.

That's pretty clever; it's not like they become unstoppable, it's just that they are disproportionately difficult to remove. For 20 army points and one upkeep that is free to maintain in theme, you have 15 models that are DEF 14 and ARM 15 (17 in Protective Aura) with immunity to spells, Tough, Rise, Reposition 3, and Unyielding. And, as you said, you can stack more buffs on top of that, like the Fell Caller and Northkin Elder.

Props for tagging Blitzer and Boomhowler in the same post! And in a thread in the General Discussion, someone said the players of other factions are too inflexible and unwilling to innovate in list building... *looks at a typical steamroller tournament* Are they wrong? That aside though, I do use my Boomhowlers from time to time, I just don't tell anybody about it. Honestly though, the party-san tag would help a lot. I mostly abuse it in my Retribution armies with Lanyssa under Rahn to hit a crit stationary on the feat turn, but Boomers would see a value here and there too. "Minions don't benefit from the feat" is something I've heard a lot of times. I like the Kriel Warrior variant taken above as well. I might actually take a couple of the posted lists and Frankenstein them out a bit for this weekend if I get a chance for a game or three.

weird casters, weird themes, weird models in themes.

I too se very diverse lists at tournaments, even from wtc players. Blitzers and boomhowlers are way too silly though. Its sort of like if Cygnar players insisten on trying to make vanilla long gunners work

That is like saying that Cuba is better than Cameroon at ice hockey. It might be technically true, but who cares?
