Developer talk indicated that we would be looking at Skorne in October (starting the 3rd) and then March or so for Infernals.

Are mercs the only one to have not gone through a CiD yet? (Christmas Llael doesn't count).

CoC. But it's been stated that they wont get one. Ret also hasn't had a CID related to releases. Just one to clean up its themes.

And this will be Skorne's first full CID since the Great Errata right before they announced the CID process.

As I have been constantly told, the Great Errata was not a CID. It was a proto-CID. Feedback from the community led to the changes happening, but it didn't have the full beta test format that the CID process has. The reason this is the first full CID, was because of situations like the Supreme Guardian having gone through CID before, but it didn't really change any of the other models directly.

A Steelhead CID is meant to happen at some point, as the new Steelhead Arcanist and Artillery pieces were spoiled at L&L

Skorne, Steelhead, Infernals (get bent Retribution you had yours). Is what I thought the schedule looked like. Addendeum: I play Ret, so don't give me any guff for the statement.

I’m pretty sure somewhere in there we can look forward to a mini-cid for Khador Wolves of Winter including the lock and load spoiled model. I don’t know exactly where in the line up it happens, but would guess before Christmas.

I think this'll be tied up with a few of the other spoilered models with a XmasCID cycle thing scaled down from last year (Bane Knight CA, Initiate trio, Clockatrice are the ones I remember), rather than being tied to a faction.

I'm not sure if we can expect the level of scope as we had last year with the Wold Wight being reason to pull in Bones of Orboros. One of the reasons they're doing the new models in a staggered manner instead of all at once was stated as it being too much work. It's likely they will also keep the scope limited to facilitate.

I agree... they even said so themselves, advising that we shouldn't expect a 12 Factions of Christmas that we had last year. That only a third (or so) of the factions (aside from those that have already been through the CID process) got a spoiled model would indicate at such definitely.

Re Wolves, I spoke with one of the PP staffers at GenCon who said the team was leaning towards Khador having a limited “mini-CID” for Wolves when the new model comes out. At a minimum he (strongly) suggested a points drop for the Doomreavers and doing something for their UA to make them more attractive in theme. So, I wouldn’t expect any new models, but I suspect it will be more than just testing the UA.

What would you guys think of a CID just for the five least popular themes (regardless of faction) and the three least played model/units in each faction? Something like that?
