It would be funny to make the scenics on the tanks tiny so they are the super-tanks out of David Drake's Legacy of the Aldenata series. Those were bigger than houses, so it would be out of scale with everything else, though.

Those were bigger than houses, so it would be out of scale with everything else, though. I happen to have some stuff I bought at different scales ages back (when I was experimenting with things like Robotech minis). So... That's at 1:600 scale. Here's a couple of vehicles at the same scale: Here's a couple of vehicles at a slightly larger 1:480 scale: To my mind that's not too unrealistic for a future-tank built to try to combat giant monsters, after all we do have industrial machinery that's comparable in size:
And here's a shot with the smallest scale I have, 1:2400: That's a big tank!
Hmm, speaking of Robotech, my VF1s in plane mode are probably close enough in size to Guard flyers...

I think the 1:600 is closest to the source I mentioned. The tiny ones are a bit lacking in detail, I'm not sure I would use them.

Glad to see more Terrasaurs. I've only seen renders of the new guy so far though?
In related news I received my second dice set and a couple of additional units in the post today, but I still haven't received Defender's arms and head from PP yet. Not that it really matters; way too much to do before I can get to these guys. Sigh.
So what does the Armodax do?

But imagine Gorghadra, with 12 health, who is immune to super damage and collisions with buildings. No ranged attacks and only DEF 7 / 8, but still...

I'm so hyped for Armodax. I suspect he is nearly idiot-proof!

Interesting, they look very cool. But... is it just me or are the units highly reminiscent of models from Dust?

Interesting, they look very cool. But... is it just me or are the units highly reminiscent of models from Dust? Considering all these new Empire of the Apes models are just remakes of the MonPoc MK I Empire of the Apes models from 2007/2008, I’d say that maybe Dust is reminiscent of them.
