Game night! Got my first game with B2 in last night, it was a standoff scenario match up featuring B2 Blindwater Congregation vs Caine 2 Sons of the Tempest.
My list: eBarnabus -Bone shakers -Dracodile -Blackhide Wrastler -Soul Slave Full GMP Full Croak Raiders Bokor and Shamblers Croc pot and boil master Bone Shrine x2
Cygnar: Caine 2 -Squire -Hurricane -Ace B13 Falk ATGM Cpt ATGM + UA Jr -Firefly Arlan Rupert
Starting roll: Cygnar won the roll and chose to go first. I chose the side at the bottom of the pictures.
Deployment: Cygnar:
Blindwater:
Round 1:
Cygnar: Most things run forward. Hurricane gets AS from the Jr, Caine gets puts FFE onto the GMP Cpt and bullet dodger onto himself.
Blindwater: Pot walks forward, generates 3 corpses and puts them all on B2. Croaks advance and spread out. They oil the firefly and manage to knock out its gun and kill Watts. Dracodile runs forward. B2 puts up onslaught and EoBN and charges forward. GMP use dirge of mists and run/charge toward the left zone. Soul slave runs up next to B2. Bokor and shamblers swarm the right zone, wrastler heads up the middle.

Round 2:
Cygnar: He up-keeps everything, powers up and allocates to the hurricane, firefly continues to burn for several points of damage. Everything moves up and proceeds to shoot my front line off the table. Ace does a couple points to the right bone shrine and magic bullets to kill a shambler. ATGM push some GMP around and toss some crit brutals into the drac for a couple points. Hurricane moves up and puts most of his shots into the drac and GMP, missing the GMP in cover and dealing about 20ish points to the drac. The rest of his army kills all but 1 of the croak raiders, filling the pot and giving the bokor 2 corpses.
Blindwater: Upkeep onslaught for free, leech in all. Soul slave advances up and pegs the Hurricane with hunter’s mark using mental force. GMP get a charge into the B13 praying for re-rolls and manage to kill all but 2 of them. The last croak walks up and pops the firefly for a couple points. B2 activates, puts rage onto the drac, feats and heals it back up to almost full sacrificing shamblers and the boil master, casts EoBN and pulls a fury off a shrine not getting get cursed. He then shuffles around the forest to stay out of Caine2’s walking LOS. Drac charges the Hurricane for free and burns through all of its attacks to leave it with about 1/3rd of its life left, with less than average rolls. (I had zero way of getting a bone shaker up to apply dark shroud) Bokor and shamblers run/charge, two go into falk (only one getting in melee), two into Ryan, the rest spread out to be annoying, Bokor runs to the wall. They kill Ryan with a CMA and miss falk. Wrastler moves up to score the right zone. I gain 3 cps from controlling the right and center zone and my flag.
Round 3:
Cygnar: We sit and talk about it for a bit and he can’t assassinate B2, or stop me from scoring at least 2 points next turn. So we call it there but he rolls things out for fun. Arlan repairs the hurricane back to full functionality. He kills the last croak, and puts a couple shots into the shamblers/Bokor forcing him to sac some shamblers to not die. He then puts all his shots into the drac. Falk hits it with the +2 magical damage spray, caine2 feats and lays into it for less than stellar damage rolls, hurricane lays into it leaving it on about 7 boxes (was in EoBN range and missed once), Jr boosts a shot into it for a point or two. Overall fairly high to-hit rolls coupled with low damage rolls sees the drac live. I gain 2 CP, he gains 1 by clearing his flag. 5-1.
Blindwater: I end my turn win on scenario 7-2.
Victory to Voodoo Crocs!
Overall thoughts: The list seemed to fair ok, but considering the low damage rolls both myself and my opponent were having it could be a skewed assumption. I played very conservatively with B2 so I wasn’t able to apply EoBN much. Onslaught was useful and being able to upkeep it for free each turn was nice. Being able to heal the dracodile to full after a full turn of shooting really helps, I think I healed it for a least 15-20 hp. If I hadn’t healed it, the drac probably would have died to Caine’s feat shooting. Not having any of the defensive amini in the list did change how far forward I felt safe playing B2. The soul slave was a nice addition and one I think I will keep. Being able to have a hunter’s mark out that doesn’t have to be cast during B2’s activation is great. Not sold on the double bone shrine, there wasn’t any good targets for rebuke so all they did was contest a zone and cap my flag. Might drop down to 1 use the two points somewhere else.

Figure I’d throw my recent experiences in in case they help anyone. Took B2 and Jags to a 4 round D&C 0 tournament over the weekend and ended up playing B2 every round. List was B2, soulslave, 2 Wrastler, 2 Boneswarm, Snapper, WE&SJ, D&S, 2 pots, Eilish, Witch Doc, Chef, Bellows crew
Round 1 - B2 vs Gaspy3 all the slayers
He took the slight alpha I gave him, not removing much due to EoBN and Starcrossed, and in return I smash half of his heavies and leave the rest missing arms and cortexes. Gaspy had feated and has about a billion focus but only manages to down a Wrastler in retaliation, so Barny bashes his head in. Assassination victory.
Round 2 - B2 vs Rasheth Winds of Death double turtle
Managed to bully both turtles away with Submerged SJ, Swarmed Boneswarm that wouldn’t stop healing and a Wrastler behind cover but was getting slowly plinked down (Skerath went down to 4 2-man CRAs without any debuffs on him). Ended up getting a line on Rasheth with Barny but involved both Pots getting boosted 10s to pull lights out of the way, and only got one. Barny contented himself with murdering a turtle and some lights and Rasheth ended up cruising to a scenario win. Loss on scenario.
Round 3 - B2 vs Dreamer heavies and gremlins
Took and early attrition lead and looked really strong, then a good turn of Manifest Destiny rolls making him average 11s swung it. Did what I could then Barny took a fully buffed Skin & Moans to the face. Loss on assassination.
Round 4 - B2 vs Sloan every jack with a gun in the faction
Got first turn and figured either my army dies and I lose or I hope he goes for Barny and he survives... B2 with 4 transfers, 3 bone boys and spiny growth takes Sloan’s feat to the face and survives on 6 hp. I am still miles away so run to engage and feat to heal barny back to almost full. Game grinds out with me slowly taking his guns down and keeping Barny safe while racking up CPs. Scenario win.
Overall I felt REALLY good in every game. The Rasheth game was easily winnable if I hadn’t fallen behind on scenario as the attrition was swinging back my way, and the Dreamer game was very even till the dice turned which can’t be helped (even my opponent said he though the game was mine on turn 2).
Loving B2, going to keep throwing him into whatever I can and see what he can’t handle!

I found 2 pots to be a good amount. 1 wouldn’t have filled anything up with relative certainty, plus the extra puppet strings are so useful. The feat fodder was usually the pot crocs (once they’re in position) the gobbers and the snapper (fill it up and feat on it, you get to reave the fury!). Eilish over Orin is more because Orin can’t be everywhere at once and Eilish can remove enemy upkeep’s if needed! Personal choice more than anything to be honest!

Got another game in last night with B2. This was a match up featuring B2 in Blindwater vs Ashlyn in Irregulars using the scenario with two circles on the sides, a rectangle in the center and two objectives. I forgot to take pictures till about half way through the game so I only have a couple showing what happened.
The lists:
B2: Blindwater -Soul Slave -Boneswarm x2 -Wrastler Wrong eye -Snapjaw Full Croaks Full GMP Bokor and shamblers Spirit Cauldron and Boil Master LongChops Bone shrine
Mercs: Ashlynn: Irregulars -Nomad x3 -Sylys Thorn gunmages Full Kayazy + Underboss Full Idrians + UA Full Forge guard Horgenhold artillery corp Ragman A&H Tinker (who he forgot to deploy)
Starting roll: Mercs won the roll and chose to go first, I chose the side at the bottom of the pictures. I made a huge error here that essentially cost me that side of the game by allowing the Idrians a wall to hide behind and shoot my entire right flank off the board with little chance of repercussion. Prey started off on the croaks. The trench in the center is a building, infinitely high.
Round 1:
Mercs: Everything runs or advances forward, Idrians get quicken, Chosen ground goes up. Kayazy run to the left zone, Idrians and forgeguard head to the right, artillery runs to the hill. The jacks, Ashlynn, thorn mages, sylys, and A&H head up the center.
Crocs: GMP head to the right zone, croaks run up and spread out in the right with the bokor and longchops following (mistake 1: bokor was way too far out of range to pick up the croak corpses) and a bone swarm. WE heads over to cover the GMP with starcrossed. Snapjaw, wrastler and other bone swarm head up the middle. BM&SC generate 3 corpses and fill the right boneswarm. B2 puts up swarm, EoBN and onslaught and moves up towards the center with the soul slave on his left.
Round 2:
Mercs: Ashlynn’s feated this turn, put admonition onto the central nomad, another one went right and killed a GMP, last one went right to block some LOS to her. Idrians mopped up more croaks, artillery put some damage onto the shrine, foreguard ran forward, kayazy killed a couple GMP. Thornmages killed another one that the left nomad engaged but didn’t kill. A&H shift forward and go stealth.
Crocs: Upkeep Onslaught for free. A lot of misses happen this round due to her feat. Croaks jam into the idrians and even with gang they still miss every attack. Lonchops kills a foreguard and drops a trap, boneswarm on the right shifts into the zone and puts up swarm. Left boneswarm gets filled from the SC and body blocks for the Wrastler. GMP are mostly out of the feat and chew on a couple more Kayazy. . Bokor moves up into the right zone. B2 puts up EoBN, WE puts up Starcrossed.
Picture taken sometime during round 2:
Round 3:
Mercs: The Idrians continue to clean up the right side of the board and jam in the center. Kayazy kill more GMP, Jacks deal some damage to the left boneswarm and the center nomad puts some damage onto SJ. Admonition is upkept. He also kills my objective.
Crocs: Two nomads die from the Wrastler+Left boneswarm, Cauldron spirit lashes the nomad with admonition to drag it into melee with SJ. SJ then gets rage from B2 and wrecks that jack. B2 lands a rebuke onto the forgeguard. Longchops kills another foreguard and drops a trap. Soulslave kills the two kayazy in the middle with a drifted bloodrain.
End of round 3?:
Round 4-6:
This just grinds out for about another hour, I would have clocked by the end of turn 5, he would has as well. He manages to score the right zone once and kill my objective putting him ahead on CPs. I try a desperate assassination run by slamming a nomad into Ashlynn, forgetting that she has admonition move onto herself. So the slam works, but she walks out of the slam path. SJ then walks up and chucks the slammed jack into her for several points and submerges. B2 moves up and hits her with 1 boosted damage blood rain and one non-boosted blood rain bringing her down to 6 hp. I run a boneswarm to try and jam her in, only realize that she has parry, doh. We call it there since he will easily be able to clear the right zone and all I can do is contest on my turn and watch whatever I put into the zone die from the two mostly full units in that zone.
End picture:
Victory to Mercs!
Thoughts on the game: Many mistakes on my part led to my downfall. I really should have grabbed that side with the wall to deny the Idrians their perfect spot. Once they got nestled around that wall there was really nothing I could do to regain that zone. The combination of Starcrossed and EoBN was wonderful and really caused my opponent headaches and they will be staying in my lists from now on. Not sure about the croaks with him. They do ok, but were dropped into a really bad match up against the Idrians who with cover+quicken are almost impossible for them to hit. May drop them for another GMP unit and rely more on the cauldron to fill the bokor. I may also drop the 2nd boneswarm for something else. I really could have used a witch doc since B2 could have walked through the building in the center and munched on Ashlynn, but other than that he wouldn’t have done much in the match up. I did end up getting him stuck behind the house for pretty much the whole game. There really wasn't much that could have killed him in my oppoenent's list so I should have kept pushing him forward. This would have been a much better match up for my second list (Calaban WWFF). Not entirely sure that B2 wants to be dropped against massed infantry.

Enjoyed reading this! I’ve only played 1 game with BLOB so far but really liked him. I’m going to WTC in September and contemplating having BLOB in WWFF as my 2nd list, I think he could be a bit of a dark horse. Planning to get some games in next week, will do some battle reports!

Made it to game night two weeks in a row woot! Last night’s game featured B2 in Blindwater Congregation vs Ossrum in Hammer Strike, we used the scenario with two circles zones with an objective in each and three flags (forgot the name).
The lists:
Voodoo Crocs: Blob & shakers: Blindwater Congregation -Blackhide wrastler -Boneswarm -Blindwalker -Soul Slave Wrong eye & Snap Jaw Kwak Bone Shrine Boil Master and Spirit Cauldron Full GMP x2 Bokor and Shamblers
Mercs: Ossrum: Hammer Strike -Driller x3 -Blasters -Gunner x2 Horgenhold Hammer corp x2 (one unit proxy by kayazy) Horgenhold Artillery Orgrun Bokor x2 (one tied to Ossrum, one to the Artillery, warspear proxy) Siege Crawler (proxy by lilith3)
Deployment: Mercs won the roll and chose to go first, I chose the side at the bottom of the pictures.
Mercs:
Crocs:
Round 1:
Mercs: Everything runs forward! Siege crawler gets snipe, artillery gets FFE. Both units of hammer dwarves head towards my zone, accompanied by the BE one driller and a gunner. The other two drillers, gunner, blaster and artillery head towards his zone.
Crocs: Everything runs! BM&SP fill the boneswarm, B2 puts up EobN, swarm and onslaught and advances forward. WE&SJ both submerge while WE puts up starcrossed and SJ tramples forward. GMP1 body blocks for B2 while the GMP2 head towards his zone with the boneswarm, blindwalker and Kwak in tow.

Round 2:
Mercs: Ossrum upkeeps both spells and doesn’t allocate. Ossrum feats and shifts up a bit. He manages to shoot down the bone shrine and deal decent damage to several GMP2 members. Siege crawler pumps all its shots into GMP1 and then the hammer dwarves charge in and bring them down to 2 members left, missing a handful of attacks due to starcrossed and EobN.
Crocs: A whole lot of bouncing off armor happens this turn for me. B2 (using his feat to gain fury by munching the shamblers), GMP1, and the soul slave clear out/knock down/ corrode as many hammer dwarves as they can. SJ tramples over a bunch to knock them down and puts some damage onto the gunner it landed by. Kwak snags the rightmost flag. GMP2 shuffle around a bit and put some damage onto the blaster on the far right. Blindwalker and boneswarm head towards his zone. EoBN and starcrossed are up again. Soul slave corrodes a bunch of hammer dwarves with a blood rain. 1-0 CPs crocs.
Round 3:
Mercs: Snipe dropped, FFE upkept. Artillery aims and blasts one GMP2 member to death and killing kwak with the blast. Bokor on the right kills a GMP2 member. Driller on the right kills the boneswarm. Siege crawler pumps some shots into B2 and GMP1, missing a handful of shots resulting in his own models dying, B2 takes 6 points in total, also kills the bokor. Driller charges into B2 (taking a free strike for 8-10 points, no systems out) and misses all of his attacks. Hammer dwarves muddle around and deal a couple points to GMP1 and miss a lot. He clears his zone to score 1: 1-1 CPs.
Crocs: B2 kills the driller in front of him, and a couple hammer dwarves and puts up EoBN. Blackhide gives SJ rage and shuffles forward. WE moves up and puts up starcrossed. SJ walks around the gunner (taking a free strike for little damage) and brings the siege crawler down to 2 hp left. Soul slave walks up and mental forces a rain of blood to kill the siege crawler. GMP2 kills the bokor and puts a little more damage on the blaster on the right, one moves into the zone to stop his scoring. GMP1 kills and snacks on some hammer dwarves, clearing my zone to score 1. 2-1 CPs

Round 4:
Mercs: Upkeeps snipe. Allocates 2 to two of the drillers, he activates and puts up bulldoze spell and pops a shot for a couple points into a GMP2 member. Bokor on the left kills the boneshaker in the middle driller’s path. Said driller moves up and deals decent damage to SJ, not knocking out anything. 2nd driller moves up to the blindwalker and smacks it for decent damage. Gunner on the right bulldozes the GMP2 member out of the zone. Hammer dwarves manage to kill a GMP1 member. He gain 1 cp. 2-2 CPs.
Crocs: Upkeep for free. B2, GMP1 and soul slave clear out all but 1 hammer dwarf. Blindwalker tosses the driller into the gunner. WE takes the middle flag and puts up starcrossed. Snapjaw gets rage from the wrastler and kills the driller and bokor by him. GMP2 kill the knocked down gunner, scratch the blaster and move up into the right zone. I gain 2 cps: 4-2.
Round 5:
Mercs: He clears his zone, kills my objective and contests my zone to gain 2 cps: 4-4.
Crocs: I clear my zone, cap the middle and left flag and let SJ eat ossrum for the win. 7-4 CPs.
Victory to Voodoo Crocs!
Thoughts on the game: I played B2 much more aggressively this game and it paid off well. I was able to keep more of the army inside both EoBN and Starcrossed and it made life really difficult for my opponent. His dice were on fire that night (he rolled at least 12 double 6s) but missed enough attacks to allow me to attrition him out. I think I like the double GMP instead of 1 GMP 1 croak raider, they are just that much more resilient and easier to keep under starcrossed/eobn. Even though the right unit didn’t benefit from either, they still were tough enough to stick a wrench in my opponent gaining cps on my turn at least. Kwak might get swapped out to something else but I’m not sure what. I need to learn how to use him better and position him in such a way to be able to clear off the GMPs with his sprays. I was surprised how comfortable B2 was on the front line. I assumed that once the driller got onto him he would have taken a dirt nap. But the combination of EoBN and starcrossed saved his hide.

Do you mind sharing your WWFF list? Apologies for the late response! I tried this last night: Barnabas, Lord of Blood - WB: +23 - Barnabas, Lord of Blood (Cont.) - Gatorman Soul Slave - PC: 0 - Blackhide Wrastler - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 16) - Blackhide Wrastler - PC: 16 (Battlegroup Points Used: 7) - Boneswarm - PC: 7 - Bull Snapper - PC: 5 Dahlia Hallyr - Hallyr & Skarath: 17 - Skarath Wrong Eye - Wrong Eye & Snapjaw: 17 - Snapjaw Gatorman Witch Doctor - PC: 0 Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor - PC: 0 Gremlin Swarm - PC: 3 Gremlin Swarm - PC: 3 Swamp Gobber Chef - PC: 1 Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron - Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron: 5 Farrow Valkyries - Leader & 2 Grunts: 8 Not sure how much I like the list - more testing required for sure. I played into Gorten in Hammer Strike - so managed to win on scenario quite trivially on account of having 2 Gremlin Swarms and my opponent having no magical attacks. It was a fun game, but really didn’t learn much... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hoping to get another game or 2 in at the weekend, will report back and try to remember to take some photos.

Finally had a slow weekend and was able to get some painting work done on my B2. Here he is, ready for washes and highlights (and finishing painting the candles, need to get better at doing black flames).

[Barnabas 2] Barnabas, Lord of Blood [+23] - Dracodile [36] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)] Gatorman Husk [3] Gatorman Husk [3] Gatorman Husk [3] Longchops [0(5)] Swamp Gobber Chef [1] Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Gatorman Bokor & Bog Trog Swamp Shamblers [10] Gatorman Posse (max) [16] Gatorman Posse (max) [16]
Minion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Blindwater Congregation
[Barnabas 2] Barnabas, Lord of Blood [+23] - Bull Snapper [0(5)] - Dracodile [36] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)] Bone Shrine [2] Gatorman Husk [3] Longchops [5] Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5] Gatorman Bokor & Bog Trog Swamp Shamblers [10] Gatorman Posse (max) [16] Gatorman Posse (max) [16]
It's going to be interesting to see if the Dracodile is enough as a Battlegroup or if I will need the bull snapper or perhaps the boneswarm.
