Here's the results of the spoon test. The one on the right has two coats of Alclad Aqua Gloss Clear. Is there a difference between 1 coat and 2? I realize it won't be as much protection, but it also may not dull the reflection as much. |

Very nice! Thanks for sharing Tesoe! BTW just to check, you used ALC600 right? BTW I'm looking at the Alclad range now and they have something called "Holomatic chrome" (ALC-205) that's interesting...  |

I took a look at their line also. Lot of neat stuff. I've wanted to paint some legion beasts with prismatic shells for a long time. Make them look like beetles. If I ever get around to it I might look at Alclad to do it. |

FYI I finally took some photos of these two. I actually painted both ages ago, and varnished the second one a while back (when my varnish FINALLY arrived in the mail) but then I was kinda busy and didn't get around to varnishing the second one for a while. They look pretty good; very bright and shiny, though not as mirror-finish-reflective as your Phasma/Sofia. I'm planning to use the chrome on a jack next, but it will be a while because, well, I'm still kinda busy. |
